Pokémon Go players see gyms deleted, after map "bug" fix
Pokémon Go has deleted numerous gym and PokéStop locations added more than a week ago as a result of a "bug" - despite players having spent time and money on progress in the interim.
The new locations popped up early last week, and come from the wider database of approved locations used by developer Niantic's earlier game Ingress. (Pokémon Go has specific rules to limit the number of locations which filter through to it, to space out places on its map.)

4 Things You Need to Know Before Starting Shin Megami Tensei V
Shin Megami Tensei V is the latest entry in Atlus’s popular turn-based JRPG series, and it’s also a pretty good entry point for newcomers. It’s definitely the best-looking game in the series, it runs great on the Switch, and the story is pretty easy to follow. Here are a few things you should know before starting your strange journey in Shin Megami Tensei V.
Temper Your Expectations
Things You Need to Know Before Starting Shin Megami Tensei V
If you’re coming from the Persona games and want to check out the SMT series to see where it all began, it’s best to keep your expectations in check and know what you’re getting yourself into. Persona may be an off-shoot of Shin Megami Tensei, but the two series are nothing alike at this point.
Arcane Act 1 review - Riot's glossy animated Netflix series opens with a striking, if familiar, bang
Editor's note: just a heads up that we do get into some light story details here, although much of it is known if you're already familiar the characters already from the games.
As with everything Riot Games produces these days, the money is very much on the screen in Arcane, its striking new animated series that's first act arrived on Netflix this past weekend, the second arriving on the 13th. As a fan of League of Legends (to my eternal shame), it is an unsurprising treat, full of winks and nods and shiny blue nuggets of lore, just as I'd hoped, and indeed suspected, a studio of Riot's now formidable stature could manage. As a fan of just plain, good television though, it very much is a surprise. Arcane is actual, good TV.

Trials Of Osiris Rewards This Week In Destiny 2 (Nov. 12-16)
After a week's hiatus, the Trials of Osiris returns to Destiny 2 this week with another Trials Labs variation. Once again, you'll be tasked with capturing control zones in matches, although they won't appear in the same places they did earlier this season. The endgame-focused competitive mode will return once again with the daily reset today, November 12, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. Although most of the rewards now remain static from week to week, the latest round of Trials will take place on a different map and with a different Adept weapon up for grabs for those who manage to pull off a Flawless run.
The Trials of Osiris kicks off at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET on November 12, so we'll update this post when the competition begins with all the details you need.
Trials of Osiris, as always, will be available from Friday's daily reset until the weekly reset at the same time the following Tuesday. During that time, you can also pay a visit to Xur to see what Exotics he's selling. Make sure to pay a visit to Saint-14 in the Tower to pick up a Trials card, which will dictate certain bonuses (such as whether you get bonus rewards at certain milestones or if a loss will be forgiven).
This week's Bungie blog post noted that it had deliberately kept Trials mostly unchanged over the last few weeks, other than offering the Freelance option available last weekend. That won't be available this time around, but it will return in the future. A change is coming for this weekend, however, specifically targeting the Flawless pool, which had been enabled each Sunday this season.
Where Is Xur Today? (Nov. 12-16) - Destiny 2 Xur Location And Exotics Guide
The most reliable way to get new, useful Exotics in Destiny 2 is Xur, but only if you visit him during his weekend visits to the solar system. That gives you just four days to seek out the Agent of the Nine and check out his inventory, which now also includes legendary weapons and armor to boost your loadouts. Here's where you can find Xur this week and everything he's offering.
Xur arrives in the solar system Friday, so we'll update this post at the daily reset with his location and Exotics.
Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher's Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
Alongside changes in his location, Xur's inventory also rotates weekly. That means it's worth visiting him each time to check out his new weapons and rolls on Exotic and Legendary armor. You can visit him any time between his arrival Friday and the weekly reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET the following Tuesday when Xur departs the solar system.
The Double A-Team: Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix was the crossover we never knew we wanted
Mario's more obscure entries are always entertaining. We've all seen him saving Princess Peach from Bowser's latest scheme, but across the decades, Mario's numerous spin-offs have kept life varied. Our favourite plumber worked on a construction site, stopped a Rabbid invasion, pretended to be a medical expert and even ran a hotel. In terms of sheer absurdity, though, few could top him saving the Mushroom Kingdom through the power of dance.
Developed between Hudson Soft, Konami and Nintendo in 2005, Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix is DDR's only appearance on GameCube and, thanks to a wild Story Mode, I still remember it vividly. Marking Waluigi's most prominent role as an antagonist, we find him breaking into Truffle Towers, scattering three Music Keys across the Mushroom Kingdom but keeping one for himself. Realising trouble's afoot, Toad alerts Mario to this situation and we're off once again.
Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Shipped Over 8 Million Copies Each
Bandai Namco announced with a press release both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 have passed a sales milestone.
As a matter of fact, they’ve both passed exactly the same sales milestone, having shipped 8 million copies each.
The last time we heard, FighterZ had passed 6 million shipments, while Xenoverse 2 had passed 7 million. It appears that both are still selling, which is rather impressive considering that they are respectively three and six years old.
In light of its sales, it’s not surprising that Bandai Namco is still releasing DLC for Xenoverse 2 despite its venerable age. Incidentally, the press release hints that more content is coming for both games.
To celebrate, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will let players fight Jiren in a new boss battle offering plenty of rewards. On the other hand, Dragon Ball FighterZ will have all of its DLC available for free on rotation between today and December 16. Every group of DLC characters will be playable for free for a little over a week before they’re phased out and the next group comes in.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. If you want to know why it’s so well-loved by the fans, you can check out our review.
The Xbox App on PC Is Getting Major Updates Including Cloud Gaming, Better Mod Support & More
Having access to the Xbox app on PC has been a game-changer, especially with the Xbox Game Pass subscription to go with it. That said, the user experience on the app hasn’t always been the greatest, and Microsoft is looking to improve it even further.
In a new video, Microsoft goes over some of the major updates that we’ll be seeing in the Xbox app in the coming weeks. You can check out the video for yourself down below:
One of the biggest updates is the ability to access local game files on your PC, which means that players will be able to tweak them if they know what they’re doing. This also opens up access to mod support, and games will now indicate in the app itself if they have mod support available.
In addition to that, cloud gaming is becoming more and more of a reality, and this will basically allow players to access their games from anywhere as long as they have a good enough internet connection. Download speeds also have been improved, making for a much smoother user experience overall.
These changes are now available for testing for those in the Xbox Insiders program, and will be rolling out to the public soon.
Discord Reassures Users that There Are No Plans for NFT & Cryptocurrency Integration For Now
Earlier this week, Discord founder Jason Citron posted a screenshot of the Discord interface, revealing app integrations with Metamask and WalletConnect, strongly hinting that the platform could introduced NFT support in the near future. This resulted in a ton of backlash from users, who mostly still believe that NFTs are scam (which, fair, most of them are) and that cryptocurrencies are just a cesspool of scam coins and part of a ponzi scheme (which, fair, there are tons of meme coins, but crypto has also evolved way beyond that).
Following public backlash, Citron has since posted another tweet stating that the platform currently has no plans for any NFT or Web3 integration.

Microsoft Flight Simulator Van’s RV-8 Gets New Screenshots; Leipzig and Milas Bodrum Airports Released
Today third-party developers released two relevant airport add-os and showcased a new aircraft coming for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Terrainy Studios provided new images of its Van’s Aircraft RV-8, which is in the final phase of beta testing.
On top of the screenshots, we also hear about some spiffy features:
“The first preview in the series is the Static Elements and External Model. Our 3D specialists worked hard on the exterior model, pouring over every little detail. The static elements you will find on the aircraft are interactable and will have a direct effect on your experience. Did you leave the pitot covers on? Or forget the fuel cap open? Need to check your fuel? The fuel level in your tanks is visible when you open the fuel cap and changes depending on your actual level. You will dynamically experience the effects of your actions and so a good preflight is always important.”
