Pui Pui Molcar Season 2 More Episodes Coming in Fall 2022

For those waiting for a Pui Pui Molcar season 2 confirmation or announcement of more episodes, there’s news about additional adventures. The official Japanese Twitter account confirmed more of the show is in the works. There’s a video clip announcing it, as well as an image teasing a new character. It will show up in Japan in Fall 2022.

Rather than a Pui Pui Molcar season 2 proper being announced, the new episodes are being billed as a “new series.” The teaser begins with clips from the first run of episodes. Then, it shows a picture with five returning main characters Shiromo, Choco, Potato, Teddy, and Abbey. At the top of it is a silhouette of an unknown Molcar.
More Pui Pui Molcar Coming in Fall 2022

After the 30 second mark, some behind-the-scenes footage appears. It shows the needle-felted Molcars being made. There are also photos showing the stop-motion show being filled.

New F1 22 Trailer Gives Look at Immersive Gameplay Features

1 year 11 months ago

A new trailer for upcoming racing game F1 22 brings plenty of looks at new gameplay features that players can expect from the title. Perhaps the biggest headliner is the promise of “new handling,” so players who have played previous F1 iterations might have to relearn the vehicles.

You can see the video here and below:

For those who maybe aren’t much of a circuit racer, there will be an “F1 Sprint” mode to look forward to. Perhaps the most immersive thing seen in the trailer is that you will be able to enter pit stops still in the first-person perspective. Not only that but there will be the possibility of “pit stop errors.” Long-time fans can expect circuit updates to Abu Dhabi, Australia, and Spain.

F1 22 doesn’t have to be a solitary experience either considering the game includes both “single and two player” career mode. It seems that multiplayer will be available in both split-screen and network, so you don’t have to be right next to a friend to journey through the F1 22 career with them.

How to Get Yelan in Genshin Impact (& Is She Worth It?)

1 year 11 months ago

Yelan was introduced to Genshin Impact in update 2.7 and is effectively a 5-Star version of a long-established, fan-favorite character. Any Xingqiu fans out there who have grown tired of his silly shorts but love what he can bring to their party synergy is in luck, as Yelan can act as an amazing replacement for him.

When built as a sub-DPS Yelan is capable of providing massive support to your team in the form of additional Hydro damage, and players are scrabbling to add her to their teams. In this guide, we will show you how to get Yelan and why you want her.

How to Get Yelan in Genshin Impact

To get Yelan in Genshin Impact, you will need to spend some of your hard-earned Primogems on her Banner, the Discerner of Enigmas. It costs 160 Primogems for a single roll and 1600 Primogems for ten rolls. Generally, it is better to select the ten rolls if you can, as every ten rolls guarantees at least one 4-Star result or higher. Yelan is a 5-Star character, however, so she is pretty rare. The good news is that Genshin Impact does have a “Pity” system for Banner Wishes, and you are guaranteed to get a 5-Star character within 90 Wishes.

The Yelan Banner will end on June 21 and will not return to the game for some time after that fact. Banners used to be “one and done,” but as the number of characters increased, they can now rotate back into the game at a later date for those who missed the original Banner.

What Yelan’s Ascension Materials Are in Genshin Impact

1 year 11 months ago

With Yelan having finally arrived in Genshin Impact, chances are you’re wondering what Ascension Materials you’re going to need in order to push them past their current maximum level. In most cases, these materials are grouped by their element, namely, the element associated with that character, and in the case of Yelan, it’s the same thing here.

Yelan Character Ascension Materials

  • Insignia Materials: 18 Recruit, 30 Sergeant, 36 Lieutenant
  • 46 Runic Fangs
  • 168 Star Conches
  • Varunada Lazurite (1 Silver, 9 Fragments, 9 Chunks, 6 Gemstones)
  • 420,000 Mora

Having the above quantities of each material will enable you to take Yelan to Ascension 6.

How to Get Runic Fangs

You can get Runic Fangs by beating level 30 or higher Ruin Serpent bosses found in the Chasm area. This does require you to unlock the Chasm area by completing the Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering world quest.

While this is the only place you can get Runic Fangs, the Ruin Serpent does respawn quickly, so you can just repeatedly farm it every five minutes or so.

How to Get Star Conches

Star Conches are a really common resource found all over the coast of Liyue. There are a ton around the Yaoguang Shoal and Mingyun Village coast, as well as some south of Starglow Cavern. A fair few also spawn on the islands around the Guyun Stone Forest, but you can generally pick off all the spawns of Star Conches fairly quickly.

Sonic Frontiers gets first gameplay teaser trailer

1 year 11 months ago

Almost exactly one year after Sonic Frontiers' initial tease, Sega has returned with a new brand-new trailer offering our first, brief look at some gameplay for the hedgehog's latest adventure.

Sonic Frontiers was first teased at the end of last May (with only the vaguest of CGI trailers and no name), but it wasn't until December that first proper details emerged, with Sega describing the title as Sonic's "first ever open zone" game.

"Accelerate to new heights and experience the thrill of high velocity open-zone freedom," the publisher said at the time. "Battle powerful enemies as you speed through the Starfall Islands - landscapes brimming with dense forests, overflowing waterfalls, sizzling deserts and more!".

Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M review: not very Porsche-y, but a fine gaming monitor

1 year 11 months ago

Here we have another AOC gaming monitor, except it’s not just by AOC, but by posh car makers Porsche? It’s the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M, a premium 4K / 144Hz beast of a display, and is in fact the second hardware collaboration between these unlikely bedfellows.

It’s also far more ambitious (and expensive) than 2020's AOC Agon PD27. It’s flat rather than curved, but goes for both a higher resolution and a larger 31.5in IPS panel. Its DisplayHDR certification also rises from 400 to 1400, fuelled largely by a switch to more advanced Mini LED backlighting: the same sort as the Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX, one of the best 4K gaming monitors. As a gaming screen, then, it’s got all the right tools, but what exactly about it is Porsche-like?

Shenmue Creator Is Working on an Apple Arcade Game

1 year 11 months ago

Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki is making a new game for Apple Arcade and it's a rail shooter entitled Air Twister. The new game will be coming to the iOS gaming service on June 24 of this year.

Developed by Suzuki's studio YS Net, Air Twister is billed as an "endless shooter" starring a young woman named Princess Arch, who is fighting off a group of enemies invading her home planet.

It uses a swipe shooting mechanic to target and fire at enemies flying around the screen as Princess Arch soars through the skies of her planet, passing through fields of giant mushrooms or through archipelagos of floating islands.

One of the most striking things about the trailer for Air Twister is its music, which is done by Dutch New Age composer Valensia. The result in the trailer is something like what would happen if you crossed Nier Automata's battle themes with a 70s rock opera, which is a fascinating choice for a rail shooter where everyone's riding giant swans and giant flappy whales are dragging air balloons attached to...floating...houses? Sure!

Suzuki's most recent work was Shenmue 3, which he unveiled in 2015, successfully Kickstartered, and released in 2019. Previously, he worked at Sega on franchises such as Virtua Fighter, OutRun, Outrigger, Virtua Cop, and of course, Shenmue. He also somewhat famously worked on Space Harrier, which Air Twister has clearly taken several cues from.

YouTuber Mods Nintendo Power Glove to Make it Compatible with Switch

1 year 11 months ago

It’s been over thirty years since Nintendo released its Power Glove, but the infamous controller hasn’t quite faded into oblivion yet. A YouTuber recently crafted a nifty new use for the glove: compatibility with the Switch.

In a new video, tech YouTuber Will It Work? shows off his newly modded Power Glove, which has been revived and now works with the Nintendo Switch (save for a bit of latency and a few remapping issues).

As explained in the video, two essential pieces of hardware made this impressive mod possible: the USB NES RetroPort, which turns devices like the Power Glove into USB game controllers; and the ConsoleTuner Titan One, which allows the Switch to recognize external devices like the Power Glove as controllers.

Thanks to these two pieces of hardware and a bit of tinkering, Will It Work was able to configure the Power Glove as a simplified Switch controller — hand movements correspond to joystick motions, thumb movements correspond to the A button, and index finger movements correspond to the B button.

He briefly dives into Pokemon Legends: Arceus to demonstrate the controller's movement capabilities. Of course, the highlight is his brief foray into Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, though to get this game to work properly, he had to write a script to get the A button to hold to allow auto-acceleration as well.

Preview: Honkai: Star Rail Relies on Characters to Build Connections

The Honkai: Star Rail second closed beta is on, and people once again get a chance to be the Trailblazer and ride the Astral Express to different places. I had a chance to go through a bit of the game. While I wasn’t fortunate enough to get any five-star units, I did notice something it has in common with HoYoVerse’s other titles. Even in its early phases, Honkai: Star Rail feels like it relies very heavily on its characters to interest players and move the story along.

Honkai: Star Rail starts with players following a mysterious woman named Kafka through the Herta Space Station. She and Silver Wolf are looking for an item Kafka calls the Cancer of All Worlds, a Stellaron. When they find it, Kafka proceeds to shove it into the the Trailblazer. Like Genshin Impact’s Traveler, this is the player avatar. After some ominous words and suggesting the player will need to make a “choice,” the two disappear. That’s when Dan Heng and March 7th, Astral Express members, appear to save the day. The Trailblazer is an insomniac now on a space station besieged by the Antimatter Legion.

What Is a Daily Challenge in Iron Banner in Destiny 2?

1 year 11 months ago

Iron Banner is a rotating PvP mode in Destiny 2 where players can earn new loot in the form of weapons and armor. For Season of the Haunted, the mode has introduced a new format, a new game mode, and some confusing terminology for players. One of the challenges this season is to finish a Daily Challenge, but the game does little when it comes to explaining what this actually is. In this guide, we will show you how to finish a Daily Challenge in Iron Banner.

How to Complete a Daily Challenge

Daily Challenges are actually straightforward to find if you know exactly where to look. If you go into your Director, the Crucible, and hover over the Iron Banner node, you will see the above pop-up. This will give you some details on the mode, and at the bottom, it will say “Challenges.”

How To Complete the Forging Iron Quest in Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted

1 year 11 months ago

Each season in Destiny 2, Lord Saladin arrives to test Guardian’s might in the Iron Banner. In the Season of the Haunted, he has a new quest to complete called Forging Iron.

How To Complete the Forging Iron Quest in Destiny 2

To begin the Forging Iron quest, players will need to visit Lord Saladin. He has moved to a new location this season, and can now be found directly in front of the spawn locations in the main Tower courtyard. Interact with him and then grab the quest when he offers it to you.

  • Step 1 – Complete a match in Iron Banner.
  • Step 2Complete a daily challenge.
  • Step 3 – Earn Iron Banner Rank points.
  • Step 4 – Collect an Iron Banner engram from Lord Saladin.
  • Step 5 – Complete Iron Banner matches while wearing at least one piece of Iron Banner armor. Each additional piece grants extra progress.
  • Step 6 – Speak to Lord Saladin at the Tower

Overall, the Forging Iron quest is quite straightforward. All you really need to do is play Iron Banner matches and take part in minor activities around those matches. It is a much easier and more run-of-the-mill quest than it has been in previous years.

What is Iron Banner?

Iron Banner is a limited-time PvP mode in Destiny 2. Unlike most PvP options in the game, Power level matters, and the higher your Power the more damage you will do and the less damage you will take. The mode now centers around a match-type called Rift that is essentially a capture the flag mode but with a neutral flag at the center of the map.

Rabbit Hole Developer Wants to Bring the Silent Hill-Like Title to Consoles

1 year 11 months ago

Earlier this year, indie developer Blaze Games released their second horror game title, Rabbit Hole, to Steam early access. This Silent Hill-like game follows Shaun Turner, a man trying to untangle a twisted web of supernatural events and mysteries to save his family but also escape from the hellish remains of his hometown.

Earlier this week, one of the developers took to Reddit to ask fans if there would be any interest in their horror title coming to consoles. You can see the post to the Xbox One subreddit by gambidivide for yourself below.

The Redditors were rather receptive to the idea, suggesting that the developers do their best to try and get the game on Xbox and GamePass via Id@Xbox, even recommending some constructive feedback regarding achievement scores if they did go that route.

Currently, Rabbit Hole is only available on Steam. If you’d like to see more about the game, you can check out an official description below.

Valorant 1v1 Mode Could Be in Development, Leaked Images Suggest

1 year 11 months ago

It’s been a while since Riot Games has issued a new game mode for its popular FPS Valorant, but a new leak suggests one could be on the way sooner rather than later. The big surprise is that instead of the typical team-based gameplay it’s a 1v1 mode that pits two players against each other.

The leak comes by way of well-known dataminer ValorLeaks, who posted his findings earlier today over on Twitter:

As you can see, the image highlights what appears to be some sort of beta testing for a potential 1v1 mode. ValorLeaks later includes more information from his sources that indicate it’s either a best of 10 or best of 13 design. Could this be a mode designed for Twitch streamers and influencers to hash it out?

It’s important to note this is clearly some sort of early in-house testing that is by no means guaranteed to make it into the game as a full release. There’s no official word from Riot Games about a 1v1 mode at all so far.

We’ll let you know if we hear anything more moving forward and keep this article updated.

Monument Valley and Its Sequel Coming to PC in July

1 year 11 months ago

Monument Valley studio Ustwo Games announced today that the mobile series is finally coming to PC this July with the games and their features rebuilt for the platform.

Both Monument Valley and Monument Valley 2 will be released for Steam on July 12, both subtitled as the Panoramic Editions. Both games can be purchased separately or as a bundle with a discounted price. Each game also contains all add-ons and DLC that were released after their mobile launches.

Both games have players solve environmental puzzles through switches, varying paths, and manipulating perspective. The developer said both games have been built exclusively for PC with features like support for ultrawide 21:9 displays and controlling with a keyboard, mouse, or touchpad.

Monument Valley originally launched for iOS and Android devices in 2014, while Monument Valley 2 followed on mobile in 2017. The studio explained in a news post why the port is coming to PC after all these years is that the team never stopped loving the series and that it was “so important to who we are, and to this day, helps us drive forward as a studio with unity. What was initially an experiment quickly ended up becoming something more.”
