Squid Game Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has just confirmed that there will indeed be a second season of the hit Netflix original. This news came by way of an interview with AP News at a red carpet event, where he elaborated on a second season and what it will have in store for Gi-hun.

In the interview above, Dong-hyuk had the following to say about the second season of Squid Game:

So there’s been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season. So I almost feel like you leave us no choice! But, I will say that there will indeed be a second season.

It’s in my head right now. I’m in the planning process currently. But I do think it’s too early to say when and how that’s going to happen.

Invites for From Software's Elden Ring technical test have started going out ahead of its start later this week--as have emails informing those who signed up but were not selected to participate.

Invites began appearing in inboxes of applicants earlier today, starting with players in the EU and Asia before rolling out in North America. If you applied for the network test and have been selected, you should have an email from publisher Bandai Namco right now with instructions on how to download and get ready for the limited test this weekend, which will let you play a portion of the game with up to five classes.

If you are lucky enough to have been selected, you can download the game now and, at the very least, hang out with other players in the main menu while soaking in the game's theme. Some players have already ripped the game's main menu music and thrown it up on YouTube, just in case you're feeling left out.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is now available, and as always with a new Call of Duty release, there is a new camo grind to pursue. Vanguard offers 10 sets of standard weapon camo challenges, but the most sought after are the three Completionist mastery camos. Our guide will walk you through the steps needed to unlock these coveted weapon camos, and we provide some tips to get you there faster.

How To Unlock The Completionist Camos

Call of Duty: Vanguard has three mastery camos to work towards for total completion: Gold, Diamond, and the final and most prestigious Atomic camo. Gold and Diamond are pretty much what we've seen in past Call of Duty games, but Vanguard's Atomic camo is a new weapon skin, which has rainbow colors in an animated and psychedelic pattern.

For the first step towards unlocking this colorful Atomic camo, you'll need to unlock the Gold camo for each weapon in the game. This is done by completing each weapon's set of standard camo challenges. Just pick a weapon to start and focus on the standard camos. There are 10 sections of standard challenges, and each section has 10 unique camos to unlock.

Developer Turtle Rock Studios has released the full patch notes for Back 4 Blood's November 2021 update, which is now live. The new update makes dozens of balance changes across the game's campaign and Swarm PvP mode--most notably, the effects of some of Back 4 Blood's best cards have been adjusted.

Overall, it's a healthy mix of buffs and nerfs, with over a dozen different cards affected. Though Turtle Rock doesn't outright say as such, the adjustments seem particularly geared towards addressing melee-focused builds, some of the hardest-hitting decks you can make in Back 4 Blood. Developer Innersloth has revealed that the new Cosmicubes update for Among Us is now live, and it brings new roles, currencies, and more to the online social multiplayer game. 

You’d be hardpressed to find someone who’s not at least heard of Among Us. An indie darling that especially blew up due to its ability to bring people together during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Among Us has continued to receive a steady flow of updates over the past year. The latest is the Cosmicubes update, and it’s now live on any platform where you can play Among Us. 

“This is just to make money, isn’t it?” the update trailer cheekily asks. “Yup, we live in a capitalistic society – money for updates, server costs, team wages, survival, therapy, food, boba, and a new game.” 

Now, it’s unclear if Innersloth is actually teasing a new game or simply stating that it’s working on a new game, which makes sense considering the studio is a video game development studio. After all, you make money from games to make more games. However, that was a brief snippet of the five-minute update trailer.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is experiencing some issues with server connectivity, developer Sledgehammer Games has confirmed.

Writing on Twitter, the developer said it's aware players are running into some issues with the game's multiplayer servers, promising that it's investigating the issue to find what's causing it. "We will provide an update ASAP," the developer said.

Players replied to Sledgehammer's tweet pointing out other server issues as well, including "packet burst" error messages, which GameSpot has received while playing the game.

How widespread and serious this server connectivity issues are remains to be seen, but in any event, it's no doubt very frustrating for people experiencing them.

Netflix Games, which is the streaming giant's new gaming project, continues to expand. Following its release for Android, Netflix Games is coming to iOS for iPhone and iPad beginning November 10.

Just like on Android, Netflix Games for iOS will let you download a small selection of games from within the Netflix app and play them at no extra cost.

Netflix Games includes five titles. These include Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3: The Game from developer BonusXP, as well as the sports games Shooting Hoops and Teeter Up from Frosty Pop. The card game Card Blast from Amuzo and Rogue Games are also included.

Just recently, Riot Games announced a new game called Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story, which is coming to Netflix Games at some point after its release on PC and Switch.

Netflix Games is not a streaming service, as each game must be downloaded. There are no ads or in-app purchases, either.

Netflix has said this is just the beginning for what it hopes to achieve in the games space. "We're just getting started. We're excited to continue improving our mobile gaming experience and adding to our entertainment offering in the months ahead," it said.

The Happy Home Paradise DLC is out following a surprisingly packed Animal Crossing-centric presentation last month. This paid DLC, which Nintendo says will be the last for New Horizons, offers players a chance to take up a new profession as a vacation home designer. The experience costs $24.99 on its own, but if you pick up a Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, Happy Home Paradise comes bundled in for no extra cost. So, is the design life worth the Bells?

With several hours, multiple happy vacation home clients, and even a promotion under my belt, my biggest takeaway is that this expansion holds little for you if you don’t love designing spaces. If you are drawn to Animal Crossing to gather museum displays or strike it rich in the Stalk Market, Happy Home Paradise might not be for you. However, if you get giddy thinking about pulling together the perfect themed room, this DLC will let you design to your heart’s content.

Today is another day rich with reveals and releases for Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, both in the scenery and aircraft fields.

We start with aircraft and Just Flight, which officially announced the “mini-jumbo” vintage regional jet British Aerospace 146.

This aircraft has almost completely been phased out of service by now, but it used to be beloved by its pilots and to turn heads due to its peculiar four-engine configuration, which is unique for an airliner of this class.

“Following on from their popular Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer and PA-28 family of aircraft for MSFS, this highly detailed simulation of the 146 regional jet has been developed by Just Flight’s in-house team following comprehensive, hands-on research with a real-life aircraft, G-JEAO, which retired from service with British European Airways in 2000 and is now preserved at the de Havilland Aircraft Museum, and the CC.Mk2 and C.Mk3 aircraft of Royal Air Force, 32 (The Royal) Squadron. 

Just Flight are excited to bring you the 146 ‘Whisper Jet’ – featuring the 100, 200 and 300 series of this classic British airliner. The design process of what was to become the 146-100 began under Hawker Siddeley in 1973 where the iconic high T-tail, short undercarriage, four engines and distinctive airbrake were chosen to produce a regional airliner with short-field performance and quiet operation. The 146-100 first flew in 1981, followed by the stretched 200 series in 1982 and 300 series in 1988.

The Royal Air Force purchased three 146-100s in 1986 and these were operated by The Queen’s Flight, designated the CC.Mk2 ‘Statesman’ and equipped with VIP cabins. The aircraft were used to transport the British Royal family and senior members of the UK military and government.

Discord could potentially implement tools for connecting cryptocurrency wallets and NFTs, according to a tweet by its CEO.

Jason Citron, CEO of Discord, replied to a tweet with an image implying that the company was investigating plugins that support wallets such as Metamask and WalletConnect. Both of these wallets are popular choice among collectors of NFTs, given their compatibility with its used blockchains. Replying to questions on the functionality, Citron said this was in pre-release currently.

Discord has become the defacto platform for the majority of NFT marketing, with most projects on marketplace OpenSea all containing links to respective Discord servers. It would make sense, then, that Discord would be looking into implementing wallet functionality natively, letting servers circumvent Discord bots that are currently used for NFT authentications. This is similar to a feature that Twitter has teased too, allowing users to connect and display NFTs associated to their wallets on their profiles.

Citron's tweet has also garnered some criticism, with numerous replies from Discord users threatening to cancel their Nitro subscriptions in wake of the news. There's also some excitement for the feature, with Citron mostly engaging with questions regarding how this might work if released.

Today, publisher Riot Forge and developer Choice Provisions formally announced their new rhythm-runner experience, Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story.

As you’ve probably already guessed, the game is an offshoot project that utilizes elements and characters from the popular League of Legends universe. Specifically, the upcoming title boasts the appearance of the bomb-loving champion, dubbed Ziggs, from Riot Games’ much-loved competitive MOBA.

Hextech Mayhem is scheduled to be arriving for Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG) on Nov. 16. and will retail for $9.99 (or your regional equivalent).

Call of Duty: Vanguard is now available with the new Der Anfang Zombies map, which is an objective-based experience with demonic themes and new features that feels much different than Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode. Here we provide some tips and weapon loadout recommendations to help you survive high rounds of Der Anfang.

Start with a strong weapon loadout.

There are no "Wall Buy" guns available in Vanguard Zombies, so you're left with the luck of the Mystery Box, random drops, or small loot chests unless you start with a good weapon loadout. Additionally, Vanguard Zombies lacks Cold War's tedious grind to update your starter weapon to a higher rarity. Instead, you simply need to equip your starter weapon with some good attachments and save points for upgrading with the Pack-a-Punch machine.

The Einhorn Revolving shotgun is the undisputed best weapon in Vanguard Zombies. Most of the shotguns seem pretty powerful in Der Anfang, but a fully Pack-a-Punched Einhorn Revolving can one hit kill zombies even in high rounds. It also has the highest fire rate of all the shotguns in Vanguard.

A major new update for Among Us is out now that adds an in-game microtransaction store and four new roles. The update was announced as part of an "emergency meeting" broadcast, which you can watch below.

The Cosmicubes update, as its called, introduces a store where players can buy a variety of cosmetic items like hats, skins, pets, and visors, while bundles that contain a group of items at a discounted rate are also available. Players don't need to spend real money, however, as the currency Beans can also be used to buy the items by progressing through gameplay. The real money in-game currency is called Stars. A new XP system has been added to Among Us as well. Players get XP for killing enemies, completing tasks, guessing correctly, and winning matches.

As for the four new roles, they include the following:

• Scientist -- Access vitals at any time
• Shapeshifter -- Disguise yourself
• Engineer -- Can use the vents
• Guardian Angel -- Protects remaining crewmates

Amazon Game Studios is asking for feedback regarding regional server transfers in a post on the official New World forums, confirming that the feature is in the works despite previous statements that regional server transfers weren't possible.

During New World's launch, Amazon created numerous new servers and encouraged players to create characters on low population ones in order to avoid long login queues. Amazon then stated it would be offering free server transfers at a later date, initially promising players would be able to transfer to servers in different regions.

That turned out to not be the case, with Amazon later clarifying that regional server transfers were not possible. While true at the time, the team is now working on enabling regional server transfers, and is asking for player input on what would be acceptable when it comes to features and accommodations for the feature in an official forum post. From the questions being asked, it seems like players who do undergo a regional server transfer might not be able to play for up to one day, and may have to forfeit their current in-game homes (though it seems Amazon would refund those purchases at a later date).

A combat balance update is also in the works for New World, alongside updates to combat responsiveness that will be rolling out over the game's next few patches.
