Today, a Shy anime adaptation was officially announced. The story is about a young girl named Shy in a world where heroes with superhuman powers attempt to maintain peace for all and is written by Bukimi Miki. The official site for the newly announced anime is live, featuring all the details of this upcoming release, a trailer, and a new key visual.
From the key visual, we see the main character, Shy/Momijiyama Teru, in her everyday schoolgirl uniform and superheroine persona when she represents Japan to the rest of the world. As her name implies, Shy hates being in the public spotlight and being in front of large amounts of people.
The current manga is serialized as an ongoing part of Weekly Shonen Champion and has 16 collected volumes so far. Based in Niigata Prefecture, Studio Eight Bit has finalized its partnership with Bandai Namco to produce this anime and other future anime projects.
The staff section only reveals Shimoji Murasakino as the voice of Shy currently, but checking back in the future will reveal more official characters and their respective voice actors.

Overwatch 2 has just been released for PC and consoles, though you might have some trouble actually getting into the game if you’re playing during peak hours. With so many login errors and bugs with the game itself, actually playing it seems like an arduous task. Here’s how to switch servers in Overwatch 2.
If you’re experiencing high server congestion, switching your server region to a less congested one may actually help you get into the game a bit faster. While there’s no way to check the population of each server in Battle.net, it doesn’t hurt to just switch it and try your luck elsewhere.
To do this, click on the little globe icon in the Battle.net launcher. It should be located next to the Play button when you have Overwatch 2 selected.

Today Bandai Namco announced the release date of the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of its JRPG Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.
The game will launch on current generation platforms on January 13, 2023.
Those who already own the PS5 and Xbox One versions will be able to upgrade for free if they so wish.
Pre-orders of the new versions are available today including the Standard, Deluxe, and Legendary Editions.
On top of the game, January 13 will also mark the release of the first piece of content of Season Pass 2, which will be a new story arc titled “Bardock: Alone Against Fate.”
The season pass will also deliver a cooking item granting +hp and +Ki def effects, while two more major pieces of content will be released at a later date.
Of course, the season pass will come to all platforms, not just new-gen ones.

When Moonbreaker was first revealed last month, It definitely left the right impression. Despite still being in the early stages of its development, it already had enough depth to its lore and variety to its characters to give people plenty of reason to want to see more of it in action. Having first seen the game through a hands-off reveal presentation, I was dying to get my hands on the title and see just how varied the gameplay could be with different team makeups. After doing just that, I can safely say that Moonbreaker is everything it appears to be in addition to being one of the most entertaining turn-based strategy games I’ve played in a long time.
Granted, this might be hard to believe based on the screenshots and footage of the game that’s currently available. The developers at Unknown Worlds Entertainment have definitely embraced a less bombastic animation style, with this game’s miniatures moving and acting exactly as they would if someone were playing a real-world tabletop equivalent.
In action though, this is part of the game’s appeal. The gameplay isn’t held up by bells and whistles that are meant to make attacks and movements seem more believable. Instead, it’s all about making the moves that will inch the player toward a perfectly executed strategy and closer to victory, sans any fluff that might get in the way.
The launch of Overwatch 2 has been a tumultuous one, with plenty of server errors and awful queue times plaguing the experience. Not only that, but the new SMS Protect feature has been a source of huge controversy as well, as players with pre-paid phone plans were unable to bind their accounts to their number.
Blizzard has since published a new update on the status of Overwatch 2’s launch, with the headline being that they’ll be removing the phone number requirement for most Overwatch 2 players and Battle.net members. This change hasn’t gone live just yet, but will take effect on Friday, Oct. 7.
“We have made the decision to remove phone number requirements for a majority of existing Overwatch players. Any Overwatch player with a connected Battle.net account, which includes all players who have played since June 9, 2021, will not have to provide a phone number to play. We are working to make this change and expect it to go live on Friday, October 7. We will update players once it is in effect.”
That being said, new accounts made after June 9 will still be required to adhere to the phone number requirement, and Blizzard states that they are still committed to combating disruptive behavior in-game, and this should help with that. The company goes on to state that they’ll continue to listen to feedback and make changes in this area if necessary.

Blizzard has pulled back from its requirement that players add their mobile phone number to their Battle.net account in order to play Overwatch 2.
It was previously mandatory for players to enroll in the "SMS Protect" system to access the game. Players who declined would be unable to login to the game's servers.
Blizzard argued that SMS Protect was necessary as the game transitioned to a live service free-to-play model, in order to combat "disruptive behaviour" and stop banned users simply creating a new account.
Several songs performed by Hololive VTubers will appear in Jubeat. Shirakami Fubuki made the announcement at her 2022 birthday stream. A Jubeat cabinet appeared in the VTuber's 3D stream for the first time.
After playing several of the game's original tracks, Fubuki revealed that Konami made a special build for this presentation. The latter included several Hololive songs in this cabinet, and Fubuki went on to showcase some of the tracks. The VTuber later announced that these songs will also appear in both arcade and mobile versions of the rhythm game.

Daredevil has finally made his long-awaited appearance in Disney+’s She-Hulk series, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. While he’s still being played by actor Charlie Cox, there is one key difference in his appearance. Here’s why Daredevil’s suit is yellow in She-Hulk.

Far Cry 6 fans can now pay £100 for a new "Game of the Year Edition" version which includes the Lost Between Worlds expansion.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is on its way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S next year.
The action role playing game was released in 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and Windows, followed by a Switch version the following year.
These new versions will provide faster loading times, smooth gameplay up to 60fps, and added details in the world when it arrives on 13th January.
Bandai Namco has acquired a majority stake in Limbic Entertainment, the developer behind its forthcoming sim game Park Beyond.
The deal marks an increased investment in the German developer, representing the publisher's move to create a significant proportion of its business outside of Japan.
Park Beyond will be Limbic's highest profile release so far: a theme park game where players can create bizarre attractions using the "impossification" gimmick. Bandai Namco aims for Limbic's sim games to become the new standard.
After a rocky launch, Blizzard has updated fans on its progress tackling some of the various issues which have plagued Overwatch 2 over the past 24 hours.
Many fans have been left unable to play for long periods, stuck in queues, left without access to previously-unlocked characters and items, or locked out of the game entirely by the requirement to log-in using their mobile phones.
These issues have been exacerbated by a series of DDOS attacks aimed at the game's servers. And today, following a bruising 24 hours, Blizzard has apologised.
Those who missed the chance to download PT from the PSN during its limited release on the PS4 will have the chance to get it for the PS5. Albeit, a PS5 that has been jailbroken. And you cannot actually launch it. Yet. But hey, at least you can see it on the main menu. A user named SpecterDev (aka Specter) has reportedly published a "jailbreak" (a reverse-engineering trick designed to "open up" closed hardware to run unauthorized software) for the PlayStation 5. Today the Pokemon Company revealed a new trailer for the massively-anticipated Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Perhaps the most obvious new element showcased is an evolution for Girafarig named Farigiraf, but there are plenty of new and returning features showcased.
Speaking of new pokemon, we get to see Wiglett in battle for the first time, albeit only with the “Let’s Go” feature for now.

More elements showcased are the TM machine lets you create your own TMs using materials that pokemon drop, and the path of legends featuring special encounters like titan Pokemon.

There’s a smidge over three weeks left until the full release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and today we have been treated to a launch trailer showing off not only the cinematical visuals of the campaign but also some of the story. It’s the Goldilocks of trailers in that it is perfectly balanced with how it gives just enough information to anticipate what the full game will bring.
Continuing from the first remake of the original Modern Warfare games, Soap and Captain Price will once again join forces to combat the newest threat. There are plenty of familiar faces seen in the trailer that is sure to give those who remember the original Modern Warfare 2 a chill. We kind of hope things go better/differently this time around.
The trailer does also bear the reminder that digital pre-orders will get to experience the campaign a week early starting Oct. 21. Considering the look of the trailer, that’s a very fair deal.
