The creator of Stardew Valley doesn't know if there will be another update, saying he's focused on his next game.
Speaking with Zach "UnsurpassableZ" Hartman on Twitch at the end of the first official Stardew Valley Cup, Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone answered a handful of questions from the community, one of which was about mods that let the player marry the non-marriageable people in the smash hit farming game.
Barone replied to explain why having almost everyone in the game be marriageable would be "just a tonne of work".
Neko Atsume has been delivering cuteness overloads to kitty loving gamers since its launch on mobile platforms in 2014.
The adorable cat-collecting phenomenon stayed mobile-based until 2018 when Playstation owners in Japan were treated to a PSVR version of the game. This of course left the rest of the world feeling very jealous indeed.
Then, just last week, Neko Atsume VR: Kitty Collector popped up on the American Playstation Store, finally giving feline fans in the West a chance to get immersed in the wonderful world of cat hoarding.
This week, Halo developer 343 began testing Halo: The Master Chief Collection Season 8 content for Halo 3 and Reach, giving players their first taste of new "alternate universe" armour skins - and it's fair to say they've sparked quite the debate within the community.
Season 8 of MCC is called Mythic and showcases Halo "in a deliberately divergent way", 343 franchise and narrative writer at 343, Jeff Easterling, said in a post on Halo Waypoint.
He's not kidding. Each of the new armour sets for use in Halo 3 multiplayer within MCC is focused on "reimagining the core Mjolnir armour as alternate universe amalgams based on legendary ancient warriors", including Greek and Norse mythology. We're playing as Spartans, after all!

The Taiwanese retailer Rakuten has listed Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake Remastered for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox on its website. The listing says that it will launch on October 5.
Since the listing also notes "Xbox" in general, that presumably means players will receive both Xbox One and Xbox Series versions, while PS4 and PS5 versions will be separate. However, there is a chance that there could be some sort of upgrade path from the PS4 version to PS5.

Sony has announced that it is reversing its previous decision that standard and special editions of Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 would not be eligible for a PS5 upgrade.
Originally, those who purchase the Digital Deluxe, Collector's, or Regalla editions of Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 were able to get the PS5 upgrade. Now anyone who purchases the game on PS4, regardless of which edition, can upgrade for free on PS5.
"Last year we made a commitment to deliver free upgrades for our cross-gen launch titles, which included Horizon Forbidden West," explained Sony president Jim Ryan. "While the pandemic's profound impact pushed Forbidden West out of the launch window we initially envisioned, we will stand by our offer: Players who purchase Horizon Forbidden West on PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free."
Ryan also said that going forward, any new Sony-published first-party exclusive cross-generation titles will come with a $10 digital upgrade option from PS4 to PS5. This applies to upcoming titles such as the next God of War and Gran Turismo 7.
Both digital and physical copies will be eligible for the $10 digital upgrade. If you have the PS4 version of the game on disc, then you will need a PS5 console with the disc drive in order to upgrade to the digital PS5 version.

Shenmue 2 is 20 years old today.
First released on Dreamcast on 6th September 2001 in Japan, it came to Europe a few months later on November 23rd - and was an Xbox exclusive in North America when it eventually arrived in October the following year.
You can watch Digital Foundry compare the 2018 remaster of Shenmue I and II on modern platforms versus the Dreamcast original:
Horizon Forbidden West is almost here, and it's fair to say we're all itching to get our hands on the game on February 18. If you've opted to preorder, we wanted to pass along some quick advice that could save you a little bit of money if you're looking to play the game on PS5.
Right now Horizon Forbidden West is listed at $70 to buy on PS5, both physical and digital editions, alongside $60 for a copy on PS4. But, if you've been paying attention, you will have noticed that Horizon Forbidden West is still getting a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade. Yep, you read that correctly. Putting two and two together, this means you can save $10 on the game, simply by purchasing the PS4 version (see here) and upgrading for free. Here's how to do it.
If you preorder Horizon Forbidden West for PS4, that's $60, and $10 saving compared to PS5 preorders, and you still get both copies of the game (see it at Amazon).
The only difference you'll find if you preorder the game physically is the blue PS4 cover sleeve, instead of the clean white PS5 cover. Before you preorder, better also check out what comes in each Horizon Forbidden West Edition.
