The feature was introduced in March this year, but bears a resemblance to the paid boosts programme that ended in late 2021, as clarified by a Twitch representative to PC Gamer.

This new feature works similarly, however, and takes the place of a hype train - subscriptions and bits thrown can now contribute to a boost train that pushes a stream to the front page of Twitch.

At least 90 jobs have been lost within PlayStation's North American business, a new report has revealed.

The roles were primarily based in the company's sales and marketing divisions, Axios reported, largely in positions that dealt with physical retail stores.

Ditto - also known as the transform Pokémon - is one of the most elusive creatures in Pokémon Go, because of its ability to disguise itself as other creatures.

In the main games, this purple blob knows one move - Transform - which allows it to copy the appearance and moveset of the opposing Pokémon, and its this ability which is recreated in Pokémon Go.

Unlike Sonic '06, anthropomorphic animals and humans together somehow make sense.

Yet where the first put the hedgehog into the real world, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 puts the video game back into the film, its plot now hinging on entire setpieces that honour the game series. There's a water-logged labyrinth! Snowboarding! The Tornado biplane! This is a film as much for the adult fans to pick apart as it is for kids to laugh at the silliness.

Story-wise this sequel follows directly from the first film, with Sonic (Ben Schwartz) settling into life in the US town of Green Hills with surrogate dad Tom (James Marsden) and his wife Maddie (Tika Sumpter). Sonic is something of an unruly teen, sneaking out to fight crime at night like a spiky Batman in a bid to use his speedy powers for good.

Today Kadokawa announced that the upcoming anime-inspired 2D action-adventure game Overlord: Escape from Nazarick has a release date.

The game will launch on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on June 16, 2022.

The game is an action side-scroller featuring Clementine as its playable protagonist, tasked with escaping the Great Tomb of Nazarick .

Soul Hackers 2 releases for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Windows Store) on August 26, just one day after the Japanese launch on August 25.

The Entertainment Software Association announced that E3 2022 is canceled. The show will not be held as usual in June 2022. However, at the same time it confirmed that E3 will be held both digitally and physically in 2023.

In its official confirmation, the ESA didn’t offer a reason for the digital element’s cancellation. While E3’s physical event was canceled in 2021, it did take place digitally online. The E3 2022 physical element was already canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

E3 will return in 2023 with a reinvigorated showcase that celebrates new and exciting video games and industry innovations.

We previously announced that E3 would not be held in person in 2022 due to the ongoing health risks surrounding COVID-19. Today, we announce that there will also be no digital E3 showcase in 2022.

Pacific Rim: The Black quickly became a big animated hit when it first premiered on Netflix. After the disappointing live-action movie sequel, Netflix’s animated series offered a fresh look at the IP, complete with beautiful and high quality animations.

The series is coming back with a second and final season this month, and you can check out the official trailer down below:

Season 2 pretty much picks up from where the first season left off, and protagonists and siblings Hayley and Taylor continue their journey to Sydney. However, this season introduces a new cult that’s out to get them, and will likely serve as the main antagonists this time around.
