Over the years, Lego has dished out its fair share of nostalgia-inducing sets, from massive Star Wars tributes to a faithful, brick-by-brick replica of the NES. Gamers can once again relive their childhood with the announcement of an incredible Lego Atari 2600 set. 

The Verge reports that the buildable model is reminiscent of the 1980 revision rather than the debuted console from 1977. At 2,532 pieces, the set includes the console itself, which, when opened, reveals a miniature 1980s living room, a controller with a movable joystick, and three game cartridges: Asteroids, Adventure, and Centipede. In a press release, designer Chris McVeigh emphatically said, “We hope that building this classic console takes you back to those halcyon days when a handful of pixels meant a world of adventure.”

Today Xseed Games and Marvelous announced the release dates for North America and Europe of the ports of No More Heroes 3 for PS5, PS4, Xbox, and PC.

The latest game by Grasshopper Manufacture will be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC in North America on October 11. As usual, European players will have to wait a bit longer, until October 14.

Netflix changed the game last year with the release of Arcane, which is now considered the quintessential adaptation of Riot’s hugely popular League of Legends universe. Here’s everything we know about Arcane season two’s release date, plot and cast.

Arcane was a massive hit for Netflix and appealed to both longtime fans of LoL and newcomers to the franchise, setting multiple records on the streaming service in the process. After the haunting ending of the first season fans were hungry for more and a second season was quickly announced, although there may be a bit of a wait.

When Does Arcane Season Two Come Out?

Riot released a short teaser after the conclusion of Arcane’s first season to announce that a second season was in production but there was no indication of a release date.

Riot CEO Nicola Laurent eased some concerns on Twitter saying that fans wouldn’t have to endure the six-year process it took to bring Arcane’s first season to life, but in the same tweet confirmed that the series wouldn’t be coming in 2022.

There is truly only one thing better than getting to earn cosmetics in Fortnite, and that is getting to earn cosmetics with friends. That’s right, the Refer a Friend event has returned to entice you to convince a friend to finally take the Fortnite plunge. There are several cosmetics to earn through your participation, so it’s worth grabbing a friend. Here’s all you need to know on how to refer a friend and earn all Refer a Friend rewards in Fortnite.

How to Refer a Friend

You’ll want to head over to the official Refer a Friend site and sign in to your Epic Games account. From here you can click the Add a Friend button to select eligible friends to join you in the event. The referees do not also need to sign up on the site, you adding them is enough.

There is only one thing you need to know as far as Refer a Friend eligibility goes:

Add up to 5 friends from Fortnite on the Refer a Friend program website who have played less than two hours of a core Fortnite Battle Royale or Zero Build game playlists (i.e., Solo, Duos, Trios, or Squads) in the last 30 days (includes new players).

All Refer a Friend Challenges & Rewards

Keep in mind that players can register until Jan. 10, 2023, and challenges must be complete by Feb. 19, 2023. It is also confirmed that these can all be done in bot lobbies.

There are five challenges to complete and rewards to earn.

Travis Touchdown will touch down on PC this October. XSEED Games confirmed that No More Heroes 3 lands on PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles on October 11, 2022. The ports were announced back in April 2022.

The No More Heroes 3 PC and console release comes about 14 months after its debut on the Nintendo Switch.

The PlayStation and Xbox editions of No More Heroes 3 on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S will also be available in a special "Day 1" limited physical edition. The Day 1 pack includes the game on disc, a 70-page art book, a commemorative Santa Destroy "Moe~" license plate, and a CD with 22 songs from the soundtrack. The box and outer box are decorated with new illustrations by series artist Yusuke Kozaki.

After over one month of waiting, the prayers of the vocal Mario Strikers: Battle League fans have been answered. Earlier today on YouTube, Nintendo announced that two new characters will be coming to the latest iteration of Mario Strikers.

When Does the First Mario Strikers: Battle League Update Release

This first batch of updates for Mario Strikers: Battle League launches in just a few days on July 21. However, it hasn’t been announced what time of day the update will go live later this week on Thursday.

Both Daisy and Shy Guy will be coming to the game as a part of the first free update. These are the first new characters coming to Mario Strikers: Battle League since the game launched back in June. The play style for daisy is a high technique character who doesn’t get knocked down very easily. Shy Guy is the classic jack of all trades and master of none. All of his stats sit right in the middle at 12 or 13 out of 25.

After months of anticipation Stray is finally available to play and it’s fair to say that the leading feline has well and truly earned a place in our hearts.

Stray is another huge success for Sony and PlayStation and boasts an intricate and highly detailed cyberpunk environment along with a strong cast of characters and an intriguing narrative. The question is whether Stray will have a presence on Xbox.

Is Stray Releasing on Xbox?

The short answer at the moment is no. Stray has long been billed as a timed exclusive for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It is possible that Stray could receive an Xbox port in the future but at the moment neither Annapurna Interactive or Microsoft have made any indication that could be the case.

Timed exclusives also tend to vary in length and can last up to a year which means Xbox owners could have a bit of a wait ahead of them before they get to experience Stray. However, all is not lost!

Where Can You Play Stray?

Stray is currently available to play now on Playstation 4 and PlayStation 5. If you own either of those consoles and are based in the UK then you’re in luck as you’ll have the chance to play Stray for free for one week as part of a trial for PlayStation Plus.

Gamers around the world will also be able to play Stray at no additional cost if they’re subscribed to either the Premium or Extra tiers on PlayStation Plus.

There’s some good news for anyone that doesn’t own either a PS4 or PS5 as Stray is also availble on PC and can be purchased on Steam.

Somehow we’re already past the midway point of 2022 and while the year started out strong with the likes of Rainbow Six Extraction, Elden Ring, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and Tunic coming to the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, the past few months haven’t brought a whole lot. All of a sudden, you’re running for your life, dashing into the nearest building and barricading the doors, hoping to scrounge up enough ammo to fend off your foes.

MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura enjoyed his tour of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, capturing footage of the various workspaces, Sega president Haruki Satomi (he conducted the tour), and even some new Yakuza screenshots. Asakura might've inadvertently captured images from Yakuza 8 or the Like a Dragon sequel, but without any further context, the truth remains a mystery. You can watch the video below. 

Like a Dragon's protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, and his friends appear in multiple screenshots. The charming hero's afro days are behind him as he now sports slicked-back hair and a ponytail. Based on a Famitsu report that Nibel translated (see below), Yakuza 8 takes place in a new location, and Mikuru Asakura makes an appearance.

Today NIS America released a new trailer of the much-awaited localization of the legendary JRPG by Nihon Falcom The Legend of Heroes: Trails From Zero.

Once again, the Refer a Friend program/event has returned to Fortnite. This program aims to connect you with those friends who don’t play all that much Fortnite and pair you up for prizes. For those worried, the Refer a Friend event definitely isn’t going to expire any time soon, as players have until Jan. 10, 2023 to register and Feb. 19 to complete everything.

Unlike some challenge events, you need to actually sign in on the Refer a Friend site as it isn’t tracked in-game. You’ll want to make sure you are Epic Games friends with the person you are hoping to refer.

You can do this with up to five people/friends at a time. While it’s a nice thought to help your friends (kind of) farm out these cosmetics, you can only each reward once. As far as eligibility goes, there is only one thing that determines who can be a referee:

Once you are in Midtown, head to the clothing store. Head to the back room, and you will find the cassette player in all its glory.

Who doesn’t love a little cat trouble every once in a while? The kicker in Stray is that you will be the one causing all of it as the game’s feline protagonist. While it’s always fun to see what your character can do within the environment in the game, unlocking a trophy/achievement at the same time is an added bonus. For those wondering just how to play Mahjong with the robots in Stray and unlock the Cat-a-strophe trophy/achievement, here’s what you’ll need to do.

How to Get Cat-a-strophe Trophy in Stray

Getting this trophy in Stray is actually quite simple and straightforward. When you first arrive at Antvillage, you should spot a couple of robots nearby enjoying themselves with a game of Mahjong. Join in the fun by jumping onto the table and knocking over the pieces.

The Stray Electrical Cable is one of the many items you’re going to need on your quest to escape the long-forgotten cyber city. The problem is, unlike many others in the game, you won’t find it laying around the various streets and buildings you’ll explore. Instead, you’ll need to interact with a specific NPC that will sell it to you.

The electrical cable can be purchased from the Barter Man for Super Spirit Detergent.

The Barter Man can be found nearby the Guardian in the slums (just down the stairs to their right if you’re looking directly at them). They have multiple items available for sale, one of which is the electrical cable.

You need Elliot’s help to get out of the Slums and escape the city, but before he can assist you, you’ll need to warm him up. That means you’ll need to know how to get a blanket in Stray, but the process of doing so requires you to get an electrical cable for a grandma, and some Super Spirit Detergent in order to get said cable.

You can get a blanket by visiting the grandma in the Slums who knits ponchos and coats. When you talk to her, she’ll make a comment about loving knitting and that she’s knitted nearly 478 miles of scarves.

In order to have her knit the blanket for Elliot, you’ll need to give her an Electrical Cable, this can be purchased from the Barter Man for the Super Spirit Detergent, which itself is obtained from the Super Spirit Laundromat.

exA-Arcadia has announced the release date for Touhou Perfect Sakura Fantastica. The shoot 'em up game will appear in Japanese arcades on July 28, 2022. The arcade port will also have new features that did not exist in the original PC release.

Perfect Sakura Fantastica will be the first Touhou arcade game to be officially released and approved by series creator Jun'ya "ZUN" Oota. This title will also be an arcade port of the PC game Touhou Makuka Sai ~ Fantastic Danmaku Festival Part II, which in turn is loosely based on ZUN's Touhou Youyoumu ~ Perfect Cherry Blossom.

The arcade shoot 'em up game will have new audio features not present in the PC version. It will have a newly arranged soundtrack from veteran composer Keishi Yonao. Sakura Fantastica will also have full Japanese voiceovers. Prominent voice actresses such as Ayaka Suwa and Kanae Ito will voice all four playable characters and eight bosses that appear in this entry.

In essence, most players should be able to complete the entirety of Stray in just about six to eight hours. While there are plenty of collectibles to gather in order to unlock some of the achievements/trophies in the game to add to the main storyline, it will likely not take more than eight hours in total.

How Many Chapters Does Stray Have?

Players will help our feline friend through 12 chapters of puzzle solving and light platforming, with linear areas broken up by several hub areas that encourage exploration. At the end of it, you will undoubtedly discover a world brimming with attention to detail, as well as a newfound appreciation of how a cat can see the world.

Today Japanese mixed martial artist Mikuru Asakura revealed a video in which he visits Sega’s development headquarters, and Yakuza 8 made a sneak appearance.

In the video, Asakura-san receives an offer to appear in the game directly from CEO Haruki Satomi and Ryu ga Gotoku Studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama.

After that, he’s led to the development floor where Yokoyama san shows him a scene from the next Yakuza game.

We recognize familiar characters from Yakuza: Like a Dragon (titled in Japan Ryu ga Gotoku 7: Whereabouts of Light and Darkness), including protagonist Ichiban Kasuga and his companions Koichi Adachi and Yu Nanba.

It’s worth mentioning that the title Ryu ga Gotoku 8 mentioned by Yokoyama-san is still a working title. The Japanese title is likely going to follow the numbering with some sort of subtitle as usual, while we don’t know what the western arm of Sega is going to do.

While we knew that the next Yakuza game has been in development for a while, this is the first time we get more than words.

If you’re wondering just how long the time skip was in Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 9, Fun and Games, here’s what you need to know. Do be warned that this article contains spoilers for the entirety of Better Call Saul, up to and including the events of Fun and Games.

In the episode’s final scenes, we see Kim and Jimmy’s relationship finally come to an end. And immediately after that, we get a cut to the Saul Goodman we know and love in Breaking Bad, indicating a rather significant time jump between those two scenes.

How Long Is the Time Skip in Better Call Saul’s Fun and Games?

While we don’t know the exact year for sure, it’s likely that the time skip in Better Call Saul’s Fun and Games was around four years, from 2004 to around 2008 or so.

We know that the Better Call Saul story takes place from around 2002 to 2004, where we get to see Jimmy McGill’s relationships with Chuck and Kim, and how he eventually becomes the sleazy lawyer from Breaking Bad. At the end of Fun and Games, when Jimmy and Kim break up, we’re in the year 2004.

After that, we see Saul wake up in his gaudy new house, and his whole criminal lawyer business is already in full swing. It’s worth noting that the Breaking Bad story doesn’t begin until 2008, and in this new scene with Saul, he also makes a reference to a case concerning a public masturbator. While this might be a coincidence, it bears mentioning that when we are first introduced to Saul as he greets Badger, he initially confuses Badger for a public masturbator that he was supposed to represent.

Again, this could be a coincidence, but considering that Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman is already complete at this point, it’s very likely that this scene takes place just before he runs into Walt and Jesse.

Once the Hot Wheels expansion has released, it can then be purchased from the Xbox Store for $19.99. It’s worth noting, however, that this expansion is also included in the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle, the Premium Edition and Expansions Bundle. If you have an Xbox Game Pass Subscription, you’ll also be able to get the expansion at a discount, though exactly how big the discount will be has not yet been announced.

Star Wars: The Old Republic developer BioWare has recomitted itself to the future of its 10-year-old sci-fi MMO, as the project's creative director Charles Boyd - a veteran of the company - announces his departure.

Boyd had served at BioWare for 16 years, with the majority spent writing for and looking after its Old Republic team.

"It's always sad to see someone you appreciate go, but I wish Charles all the best in his next adventure," BioWare boss Gary McKay wrote in a new BioWare blog post.

So you’ve just watched episode 9 of Better Call Saul’s final season, and you’re wondering why Kim quit being a lawyer. Here’s what you need to know. Do be warned that this article contains spoilers for Better Call Saul, up to and including the ninth episode.

Titled Fun and Games, this episode shows Kim and Jimmy dealing with the aftermath of Howard’s death. Towards the end, we also get a big revelation: Kim is no longer a lawyer.

Why Did Kim Quit Being a Lawyer in Better Call Saul?

To put things plainly, Kim quit her job as a lawyer in Better Call Saul simply because she didn’t think she was fit to be a lawyer anymore, and Howard’s death was the catalyst for that.

She says as much in her final scene with Jimmy, where she admits that their relationship was poisonous for all the people around them. After Howard’s death, and after helping to gaslight Cheryl at Howard’s memorial just so she can wave off any suspicion thrown at Jimmy, Kim realizes that she doesn’t like the person she’s become in this relationship. She also realizes that she’s abused her power and standing as a lawyer to pull scams on multiple people, and had gone too far when it eventually led to the death of an innocent person.

With all of that weighing on her, she gives notice to the bar and reassigns all her cases. To take things one step further, she also decides to end her relationship with Jimmy so that she can completely remove herself from the toxic situation and potentially start fresh on her own.

It’s unclear whether we’ll ever see Kim again, but even if we don’t, this definitely serves as a nice ending point to her character arc as she’s finally redeemed herself after making so many bad decisions with Jimmy.

Nintendo has confirmed the global closure date of the 3DS and Wii U eShops. In mid-February 2022, the company announced that it would close the legacy platform eShops in late March 2023. A new update to the announcement page reveals that the stores will close in the West on March 27, 2023, and in Japan on March 28, 2023.

In the West, Nintendo will no longer let users add funds after August 29, 2022, and purchase anything after March 27, 2023. Nintendo's Japanese website provided a more exact time for the shop closures in the country. Adding funds will no longer be possible in Japan on August 30, 2022, at 1:30 PM JST. The 3DS and Wii U eShops will close in Japan on March 28, 2023, at 9 AM JST, which would be equal to midnight in UTC.

We don't know when Return to Monkey Island will be landing on our shores, but we do know that it will be sometime this year. In anticipation of this release, its developers have been sharing little snippets of what we can expect, with the most recent one giving us a closer look at Melee Island's dock, an eerie-looking ship and the outside of the Scumm Bar.

Endling: Extinction Is Forever is the kind of game you just know, from its opening seconds, is going to make you bawl your eyes out at some point.

You play as the last surviving mother fox on Earth, and you must do what you can to ensure the survival of your small and impossibly cute litter of kits. You get to choose the color of their coats, and after just a few moments of watching their adorable antics, you will do literally anything to protect them from the cruel, cruel world in which they now live.

And what a cruel world it is. Throughout Endling, numerous threats will face your kits’ survival, and the most ever present is that of hunger. A hunger meter is constantly depleting from the moment you step outside the safety of your den, meaning there is constant underlying anxiety in everything you do.

Foxes sleep throughout the day, so every evening, you venture out in search of food. Your kits come with you. Initially helpless, they slowly learn skills that will help you all in this endeavor, like being able to squeeze into narrow places to get at a morsel, or climbing trees to reach a birds’ nest. Everyone must contribute if there is to be any hope of survival.

Food takes many forms, depending on your desperation. On a good day, you might find a mouse or a rabbit. On the bad ones, you are forced to scrounge through trash; on the worst, watch your offspring go hungry.

Hunting is a fairly simple affair, requiring patience, cunning, and quick reflexes. There is satisfaction in finally cornering an elusive rodent, and returning to the den with full bellies. Make sure you don’t end up as another creature’s dinner; a fox kit makes a tempting target for opportunistic predators.

EA has unveiled the standard edition cover of FIFA 23 - and in doing so revealed the last ever FIFA cover created by EA.

The two covers, below, show two different versions of the FIFA 23 standard edition. The first standard edition features PSG star Kylian Mbappé.

The second standard edition features Chelsea's Sam Kerr. Kerr features on the standard edition in Australia and New Zealand, and as a worldwide Amazon exclusive.
