How to Get Electrical Cable in Stray

1 year 10 months ago

The Stray Electrical Cable is one of the many items you’re going to need on your quest to escape the long-forgotten cyber city. The problem is, unlike many others in the game, you won’t find it laying around the various streets and buildings you’ll explore. Instead, you’ll need to interact with a specific NPC that will sell it to you.

Stray Electrical Cable Location

The electrical cable can be purchased from the Barter Man for Super Spirit Detergent.

The Barter Man can be found nearby the Guardian in the slums (just down the stairs to their right if you’re looking directly at them). They have multiple items available for sale, one of which is the electrical cable.

As noted previously, you’ll need Super Spirit Detergent to purchase it. This can be obtained from the Super Spirit Laundromat itself. When you find the laundromat initially, you’ll notice that the door is shut. However, if you climb onto the roof and meow at the robot on the roof, he’ll drop a can of paint in front of the laundromat door, causing the owner to come outside and clean it up.

Conveniently, he leaves the door open, so head inside and grab the Super Spirit Detergent from on top of one of the machines.

Now all you need to do is return to the barter man and hand it over to get the electrical cable.

What Is the Electrical Cable Used For?

The Electrical Cable is required in order to get the grandma to knit the blanket for Elliot.

She is the one that can be found knitting ponchos and coats, and when you give her the cable, she’ll happily knit a blanket for Elliot, allowing you to advance the story.

That’s everything you need to know about the Stray Electrical Cable location and its use in the game.
