Scavengers has a fun backstory that really sets the atmosphere. In this world, humans left Earth for Sanctuary when an asteroid shattered the moon and froze Earth, spreading a virus that created mutants. Some humans chose to stay on Earth to take control of the planet, but the ones who left to seek refuge now work for Sanctuary’s AI protector, Mother, who wants us to go back to the surface. In return trips to earth we gather data to help create a cure for the virus. But in doing so, Mother pits teams of humans against each other to collect the most materials to help the future of humanity as a sort of sick competition. If you kill others or get killed in the wilderness, however, Mother can clone you to respawn back. So the actual fighters, or scavengers if you will, are all copies of the strongest explorers. Which is actually a fun way to explain how there are so many of the same Explorer characters out on the battlefield at once.

Bad news for fans of The Wolf Among Us. Telltale Games has confirmed it will not be showing any new look at the sequel to its cult hit adaptation of the Fable series at 2020’s Game Awards.
Telltale posted a message on Twitter to let fans know the company plans on taking more time on the series, saying they are developing the entire season at once.
“We know you’re excited to hear more about TWUA2 [sic],” Telltale wrote. “And we look forward to telling you more when the time is right. What we can say is that we are developing the entire season at once and there is more to do before we’re ready to share what’s next for the Fabletown gang. It’s just not time yet.
Telltale also reiterated that the rights to some of the properties they previously developed games for have reverted back to their original owners, and “their fate is not currently in our hands.”
“For now, think of us as fans -- just like you!” Telltale’s statement continued. “We are a team dedicated to the Telltale legacy for narrative games, here to celebrate the classics with an eye on what’s to come. And trust us, when the time is right, we’re going to have a LOT to talk about.”

We just noticed there's a song in the game which might put a DMCA strike on your channel even when playing with “Disable Copyrighted Music” option on. While we work on fixing it, please make sure to turn the sound off during the first two Braindance sequences. Apologies! pic.twitter.com/yfP6Tbdta0
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently a last-gen game on console (although does benefit from new-gen hardware improvements), and has been advertised as such, but was never shown running pre-release on original PS4 and Xbox One units. While it's not unexpected that Cyberpunk would make graphical compromises in order to run on older console models, the level to which fidelity drops has surprised and disappointed many.Welcome... to #Cyberpunk2077 on PS4 fat / XBO ! pic.twitter.com/77BSmEuw6y

This is Cyberpunk 2077 - PS4 version 1.00. Resolution is literally below 720p and the game takes 20 seconds to load in textures. Inexcusable. Unfathomable. Unplayable. pic.twitter.com/AZ2OPTnkdL
We are truly humbled that so many of you trusted us and decided to support #Cyberpunk2077 before the release! Even 8 million thank yous isn't enough! The journey has just begun and we are hard at work on the upcoming fixes and updates to the game. See you in Night City! pic.twitter.com/ycIe2kN0Zq
