Halo Infinite's console players are calling for cross-play to be turned off, with a number of players reporting that cheaters are becoming more common across the game's multiplayer modes.
Over on the Halo subreddit, a number of players have commented on the current state of cheating in Halo Infinite's multiplayer mode, which appears to have rapidly become a problem since its release on November 15. While the game is currently still running as a beta, a number of fans have already become worried about the state of hacking and are asking 343 to do more about it.
Across social media, a wealth of videos similar to the one posted above have been shared by fans seemingly showing players using common FPS hacks such as aimbots and wall-hacks in order to gain an advantage over others in their matches.

If you’re struggling to make meaningful progression in Halo Infinite’s multiplayer, which launched early as a separate free-to-play package, you’re not alone – 343 Industries’ head of design feels your pain.
343 head of design Jerry Hook tweeted about a game called Len’s Island and then replied to that tweet to explain that he was playing both Len’s Island and Halo Infinite’s multiplayer. He said he’s feeling everyone’s pain in terms of progression and that the team is working on it, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

End Global 7, a coop company composed of prominent development studios, released a Q3 2021 Investor Presentation that detailed revenue/financial gains and a project pipeline for future IPs. The information packet revealed Dimensional Ink Studios, the team behind DC Universe Online, is working on another MMO. However, this time, players will be suiting up as created Marvel superheroes and (potentially) supervillains. The new Marvel MMO is currently in development, but the unexpected announcement is exciting nonetheless.
343 Industries' Head of Design has said that the development team at the studio will continue to tweak Halo Infinite's controversial progression system, with fan complaints continuing to mount.
Jerry Hook, the Head of Design at 343, took to Twitter over the weekend to comfort fans by saying that he is also "feeling everyone's pain on progression" in the game. Speaking further about the system in Infinite, Hook said, "We are back at it next week and this will be top of my list with the team."

343 announced just shy of two weeks ago that it was looking to make changes to the game's Battle Pass system. Across social media, many fans had raised complaints about the slow progression in the game. These largely focused on the different challenges that players must complete in order to earn XP on the Battle Pass as well as the lack of XP earned from completing and participating in matches on Infinite.
Update 11/30/21: Valve has provided IGN with a comment about the reported Half-Life shooter-strategy game:
"It’s good to view [Valve News Network content creator Tyler McVicker's] coverage with a healthy dose of skepticism. We think it’s important to reiterate that while Tyler is a passionate gamer, he has no inside information about what goes on at Valve. As you know, any important announcements on projects that we are or aren’t working on will come directly from us."
Valve is reportedly working on an upcoming Half-Life shooter-strategy game, codenamed Citadel, that will be tailored for play on the Steam Deck.
According to reports by Valve News Network content creator Tyler McVicker, Valve is currently working on a project codenamed Citadel. As detailed in a video uploaded to McVicker's YouTube channel, Citadel will apparently be an FPS/RTS co-op game based on the Half-Life franchise.
According to McVicker, Citadel is will have a style akin to what you might expect if "Left 4 Dead, Alien Swarm, an RTS, and Half-Life [were] all having a baby." While the project is yet to be officially announced by Valve, McVicker says that the game is being designed "with the Steam Deck in mind, due to how the game is supposed to be controlled."
McVicker goes on to state that originally the game was supposedly intended to include a "VR asymmetric co-operative component" but that it's very possible the studio might have decided to leave that component of the game behind during development.
DC Douglas, the voice actor known for his portrayal of Resident Evil's Albert Wesker, has allegedly shared confidential concept art for the unannounced Resident Evil 4 remake.
As reported by VGC, the seemingly leaked concept art was shared on Twitter (below). According to tweets by the @BewareCreepyVAs account, the image in question allegedly shows a sketch of the Wesker as he would appear in the Separate Ways section of the remake.

Reports over the weekend claimed Resident Evil voice actor DC Douglas leaked concept art from Capcom's upcoming, unannounced Resident Evil 4 remake.
The artwork - which it is claimed Douglas sent privately to fans via Twitter after discussing his role during a Twitch livestream - purportedly shows Resident Evil series villain Albert Wesker, the role Douglas played for many years.
