Japanese figure manufacturer Kotobukiya hosted its Summer Vacation 2001 event online and showcased two videos featuring its upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Trails Into Reverie figures.

The two figures portray Rean Schwarzer and Altina Orion, which will be released respectively in January 2022 and November 2021.

We also get a comment from Nihon Falcom president and producer Toshihiro Kondo, who apparently is very pleased by how the figures turned out.

Fortnite Adds Will Smith's Bad Boys' Character Mike Lowrey

2 years 8 months ago

Some Fortnite crossovers are more surprising than others, and today's official reveal of Mike Lowrey of Bad Boys fame would be one such collaboration if it weren't for a recent credible leak that tipped off the game's community in advance. Here's what you need to know about the new Fortnite Will Smith skin.

Fortnite Will Smith/Mike Lowrey Skin

He can't be stopped now.

While Lowrey debuts without his buddy cop partner, Marcus Bennett, he does come with several additional cosmetics. Lowrey hits the Item Shop as an individual character skin or in a bundle with his complete Loose Cannon set. Also included in the set are the following items:

  • Detective's Duffle back bling
  • Loose Cannon Cutters pickaxe

The Bad Boys series began in 1995 and has since seen two sequels release, the latest of which came last year after a seventeen-year gap since Bad Boys 2 in 2003. Talks are ongoing for a fourth movie. Lowrey joins a host of other action heroes in Fortnite, most of which come from the world of comics like Marvel and DC, as well as several from Star Wars.

A recent leak does seem to suggest more grounded square-jaws will be coming to the game in the future, though. One leak indicates Chris Hemsworth's character from Netflix's Extraction was at least being made in the game at some point, though given that the movie was released over a year ago, it's possible those plans were scrapped--or maybe he'll debut alongside a sequel.

Phasmophobia’s Exposition Update Adds 2 New Ghost Types, Equipment, & Tons of Gameplay Tweaks

2 years 7 months ago

Developed by Kinetic Games, Phasmophobia made quite the splash when it released via Steam early access late last year. The game tasks players with exploring haunted locales with various types of equipment to gather evidence and figure out what type of supernatural being they’re dealing with. The game’s only gotten more expansive since then, and the new Exposition update looks like the biggest one yet.

First off, two new ghost types have been added: the Goryo and Myling. In addition to these two, a new piece of equipment called the DOTS Projector has also been added, and it allows you to look out for a new type of clue. This update also changes up all the evidence required for the various ghost types to account for the Goryo and Myling, as well as the DOTS Projector, so even veteran players should have a fun time with this one.

Other quality-of-life changes include increased movement speed and the ability to sprint, as well as a better indicator on the ghost box to show when a ghost is responding to you. You can check out the full list of changes here.

Phasmophobia is now available on PC.

New Destiny 2 Exotic Armor Pieces Get Disabled Due to Unfair PvP Advantages

2 years 7 months ago

The new season of Destiny 2 is now underway, and of course, there are a whole ton of new exotic armor pieces for players to hunt down and collect. Some of them look pretty sick too, but within just a few days of release, players have already discovered some unintentional effects of some of these pieces that give them a bit of an edge in PvP modes.

Specifically, the Radiant Dance Machines were allowing Hunters to dodge more times than intended, while the Wormgod Caress gauntlets were allowing Titans to deal a whole ton of damage with their hammers.
