Visage Review — Awesome Apprehension
Third-party add-on developer Orbx announced another relevant airport package for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
This time around the popular developer is going to release Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (LIEO) alongside the surrounding city of Olbia in Sardinia, Italy.
Olbia is a popular vacation destination and should bring back a bit of summer at least to our computers.
Below you can check out a bunch of rather spectacular screenshots and an official description
“Using the latest MSFS SDK updates, this airport is one of our very first to integrate completely customized animated jetways, as well as a custom ground poly (projected mesh). All textures have been redone, with full PBR and higher resolution artwork utilized throughout. Dozens of landmarks lie waiting to be explored, including several new easter eggs not previously included in the original P3D release.
Square Enix has released a 10-hour demo for Dragon Quest XI S - Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition (say that five times fast) on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Even better, Square Enix says all your progress will transfer over to the full game if you decide to purchase it.
One might be shocked to hear that a game’s demo can last 10 hours, given that some games last all of six. Considering Dragon Quest XI players can easily rack up 100+ hours before hitting the ending, it’s a little more understandable.

Square Enix announced the demo in a blog post. You can get the PS4 version here, the Xbox One demo here, or the Steam demo here.
“To be frank, calling this a demo is kind of underselling it,” Square writes. “The download lets you play through the entirety of the opening chapters - a gargantuan chunk of game that could take you around 10 hours, depending on how you play.”
Square Enix also added that players who complete the demo will receive a “little treat” for players who complete the demo, although they’re not revealing what it is.
Gun Media is pulling the plug on asymmetric multiplayer horror Friday the 13th's dedicated servers later this month, and is delivering one final patch at the same time.
Friday the 13th: The Game had a rocky start back in 2017, with a litany of bugs and technical issues threatening to undermine what was an otherwise solidly entertaining - and commercially successful - horror experience. Despite improvements, Gun Media then fell foul of a lawsuit relating to ownership of the Friday the 13th license, at which point it announced it would no longer be developing new content for the game. Even so, the community has remained.
That rocky road, however, now appears to have reached something of an end; in a post on the official Friday the 13th: The Game forum, lead community developer Matt Shotcha confirmed that Gun Media will be 'decommissioning' the game's dedicated servers later this month, reverting back to the peer-to-peer networking favoured at launch.
Apex Legends’ new season launches tomorrow, alongside the game’s arrival on Steam. I’ll admit this hellscape of a year has given me little time for Titanfall developer Respawn’s battle royale, but the upcoming season’s changes could entice me back in—at least until I fall off the game’s new map too many times, which I…
On the fence about playing Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of An Elusive Age - Definitive Edition, the expanded version of the well-received 2018 RPG? Square Enix has given players ample time to figure it out. A demo for the upcoming game is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam and provides an hours-long argument for why you should give the full game a shot.
The demo consists of the game’s entire opening chapters; a chunk Square says could take around 10 hours to complete. Since that’s enough time for players to get the story moving in earnest, all progress will carry over to the full game. Best of all, Square promises demo players will receive special rewards when they boot up the full release. That’s probably the best way to give players real sense of a title that takes 60-80 hours to complete.
Blizzard Entertainment released two new trailers of the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Shadowlands.
The trailers focus on two areas included in the expansion, The Maw and Ravendreth.
Both videos provides an in-depth look at what you can expect from each place in terms of environment and its inhabitants.
You can watch them below.
The expansion launches in less than a month on Nov. 23 exclusively for PC.
is almost here – and when it does, it’s throwing a whole lotta junk out of players’ inventories. Schematics, treasure maps, and even Expired Ramen Coupons are all on the chopping block, but it’s the last of those three that’s got some guardians all riled up. While I’m not even sure if Destiny’s gun-wizards can eat, there’s an apparent sentimental value to the game’s noodly food-tickets, with many players now petitioning Bungie to let them hold onto their tasty little keepsakes.
I am a lapsed Destiny 2 player. In anticipation of the Beyond Light expansion coming out November 10th, I thought I’d reacquaint myself with the game which I hadn’t touched in years. Even though I probably should have waited for Beyond Light and its promise of a revamped and heavily streamlined new player experience,…
Once Seraphine started voicing her anxieties, things took a turn for the weird
Dragon Age Origins first made its glorious BioWare debut back in 2009 on this very day (November 3). This RPG adventure was immediately met with high praise for its incredibly fleshed-out characters, a narrative heavily impacted by player-choice, and those ooh la la romances. It's one of my personal favorites but even I can admit that this game has not aged well. For those wanting to celebrate the Dragon Age anniversary, here are some of the top mods that I use that will enhance that gameplay experience.
Dragon Age Redesigned
Dragon Age Redesigned is my go-to when I want to pretty up the game a bit. While it's not the "prettiest" in terms of re-texturization, it is one that is the most reliable in terms of preventing crashes and lost saves.
What this mod does is it changes all of the NPCs in-game (goodbye weird broken elbows and necks made from nightmares) while fixing the various skin and proportion issues seen in-game. It also helps to make what players see in-game be more in-line with the actual Dragon Age lore, something that is surprisingly an issue with the vanilla game.

Giving money to streamers can be weird. It makes sense when a streamer is a scrappy up-and-comer for whom even a few coins in the cup can make a difference, but we live in an era in which big streamers are millionaires with exclusive contracts and brand deals. While popular streamers have expressed awareness of this…
Three years after its premiere, grindhouse 1v7 teen-smasher Friday The 13th: The Game has finally been defeated. This month, Gun Media are shutting down the multiplayer stab ’em up’s dedicated servers for good. But like any good movie monster, the game isn’t quite gone for good, and will shamble along for the foreseeable future through peer-to-peer matchmaking.
Developer Rebellion has released first gameplay footage of WW2 shooter sequel Sniper Elite 4 running on Switch, ahead of the port's release on 17th November.
Sniper Elite 4 picks up immediately after the events of its predecessor, this time taking the series' well-regarded third-person tactical shooting to Italy, 1943, where players can enjoy "sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns, ancient forests, mountain valleys, and colossal Nazi megastructures" - in-between bouts of Nazi busting, of course.
The end result is an experience Eurogamer's Martin Robinson enjoyed rather a lot when he reviewed it back in 2017. "Rebellion has folded in the essence of stealth greats such as Splinter Cell and Metal Gear while keeping the characterful flavour of Sniper Elite itself," he enthused, "and for the first time it's not necessary to make any excuses on its behalf. Sniper Elite 4 is a really good video game."
Still not quite sure how this one makes out.

A bunch of old items are vanishing from Destiny 2 players’ inventories next week when its expansion Beyond Light launches, including an expired ramen coupon handed out years ago. Now players are celebrating the memento before it disappears, and its creator says he had originally hoped to do more with it.
Days Gone is getting some pretty decent upgrades for the PlayStation 5. Sony's Bend Studio published a tweet that detailed the enhancements: 60 fps, dynamic 4K resolution, and current-gen to next-gen save transfers. So, if you've completed Days Gone and are looking for a reason to hop into its new game plus mode, if you started the game and never completed it, or if you still have yet to experience the apocalyptic life and times of Deacon St. John, you'll be able to do all of that and more when the PlayStation 5 launches on November 12. You can see the tweet below.
If you're taking a ride on the Broken Road for the first time, or finishing up NG+, here's what you can expect when you boot up #DaysGone on the #PS5:

While not quite as explosive as Fortnite was at launch, Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legends battle royale experience is an incredible addition to the popular genre. With rotating events and new seasonal content, players have been having a grand 'ol time trying to snatch up that Victory Royale. For those that are digging the online shooter, there is good news: already up to 12 seasons are completely planned out and it looks like the studio is looking to expand beyond battle royale for Apex's future.
Apex Legends director Chad Grenier recently sat down with the folks over at Eurogamer to talk about the future of the hit online game. Grenier revealed that the latest season is just one of many more to come and that the team has content planned out "all the way up to season 12" and beyond. Following season 8's reveal, Grenier mentioned that this time marker will be the pivot to continue work on seasons 13 and 14. From there is anyone's guess.
Following the conclusion of the Rulebreakers event, the next FIFA 21 promo is already being teased before it begins on Friday. It is another returning promo, called Road to the Final, and it celebrates the start of the Champions League now that the Group Stages are a few weeks in.
Exactly how it works is yet to be confirmed, but it’ll likely be the same as it was last year. How it worked was the player would get an upgrade (following the usual system) for every round they progressed through.
As an example, an 86 rated player would get a plus one if they qualified from their group, and another one for getting into each one of the knockout stages. Therefore, if a player’s club reaches and wins the final, whether they play in it or not, they have the potential to reach 94 rated or higher.
As for who the players will be, it’s difficult to say. The only requirement is that they play for a team who’s in the Champions League or Europa League.
EA Sports tends to opt for cards that fit into the meta, so that players are more likely to open packs to try and get them, so expect to see some familiar faces.
If you’ve been coming up against a player a lot of times over the first few weeks of FIFA 21, don’t be shocked to see them included in the Road to the Final squad on Friday.
Over the next three days, before the promo begins, expect to see EA Sports continue to tease the players via Twitter and the in-game Ultimate Team loading screen.
Once the Road to the Final players are revealed, we’ll be sure to let you know who they are.
Time passes strangely these days, so it is easy to forget things that happened or were said or were pledged just five months ago.
Today Aerosoft released a trailer of an upcoming add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator focusing on the East Frisian Islands in Germany.
If you’re not familiar with the area, they’re a chain of islands in the North Sea along the coast of Germany and close to Denmark.
The package, developed by Stairport, will include not just the airfields in the islands, but will also overhaul the towns and villages with correct landmarks like lighthouses, beacons, restaurants, harbor buildings, and more.
Of course, there will be plenty of real estate to take-off and land including the following airfields.
You can enjoy the trailer below.
has had a bit of a hacking problem since its sudden explosion in popularity. Fortunately, developers Innersloth are on the case. While today’s update is a small one adding just a few small fixes and features, the patch notes have revealed plans to bring an accounts system into the game by the end of the year, along with a new map that’s set to be the game’s biggest yet.
Want to continue Deacon's adventures on a PS5? Well, Days Gone save files will still work on the system and it'll run at 60fps.

I woke up this morning chanting a little mantra to myself: It’s just a regular Tuesday, it’s just a regular Tuesday, it’s just a regular Tuesday. Apparently my body couldn’t be tricked, though, because it remained in a heightened state of anxiety—even beyond what it’s normally capable of, which is saying something. So…

Ubisoft has quite a few games currently in development, among them is another adaptation of James Cameron's Avatar film. Led by The Division developers over at Massive Entertainment, news of the delay came by way of a recent earnings call. It was there that the company revealed that the reason behind the upcoming Avatar game's delay was to ensure its launch is in line with the Avatar 2 movie coming out in 2022.
Avatar is the latest game under the Ubisoft umbrella to see a pushback, alongside Rainbow Six Quarantine and Far Cry 6. While many games are being pushed back to either steer clear of Cyberpunk 2077's window or because of COVID-19, this decision was made with the launch of the movie in mind.
First announced back in 2017, the upcoming Avatar game is a work in progress with the Massive Entertainment team, the same studio that did The Division, alongside Lightsorm Entertainment, which is James Cameron's studio, and Fox Interactive.
Brazil is notoriously affected by extremely high prices for consoles, and the PS5 isn’t an exception. Luckily, Sony has decided to help a little.
Today the house of PlayStation has announced a price cut for the upcoming console and some of its accessories on the local PlayStation Blog (via Restera).
The PS5 Digital Edition has been reduced from R $ 4,499 to R $ 4,199. The version with the Blu Ray disk will cost R $ 4,699 instead of R $ 4,999.
The DualSense controller drops from R $ 499 to R $ 469 and the camera from R $ 449 to R $ 419.
Do keep in mind that this still translates into US$730 for the entry-level diskless version, so it isn’t exactly cheap regardless of the price cut.
This is due to recent tax cuts announced by the local government and also affected the price of Xbox Series X and S, which were dropped last week.
In other markets, the PS5’s standard edition will cost $499.99, €499.99, £449.99, or 49,980 yen while the Digital Edition is priced at $399.99, €399.99, £359.99, or 39,980 yen.
The first release date for the console will be on Nov. 12 in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea.
Everyone else will have to wait a little more: the console will launch in Europe and in the rest of the world on Nov. 19.
Incidentally, Sony recently announced that it plans to ship more than 7.6 million units by the end of March 2021, beating the PS4’s debut shipments.
