Marvel Future Revolution Gets New Trailer All About Vision & Possibilities

4 years 1 month ago

Today Marvel Games and Netmarble released a brand new trailer of their upcoming mobile game Marvel Future Revolution.

The trailer doesn’t just show more of the upcoming open-world online RPG, but it also provides insight from some of the minds behind the game who talk about the vision behind it.

And I mean “vision” in terms of philosophy since we don’t yet know if Vision (the character) will be in the game. For now, just a handful of heroes and villains have been revealed.

We also hear about the possibilities offered by the game, that will let players meet and play versions of familiar heroes from different universes, all working together or clashing in the same world.

You can check out the trailer yourself below.

At the moment, there is no relese date for Marvel Future Revolution, but we know that it’s coming for iOS and android.

If you’d like to see more, you can enjoy a bunch of trailers that have been released during the reveal of the game at PAX East.

Valve Announces New Beta for Card Game Artifact

4 years 1 month ago

Digital collectible card game Artifact will be receiving a “Beta 2.0” that will revamp some of the game’s features and gameplay, Valve announced today.

In a blog post, the company revealed a small roadmap on how the new beta will roll out without giving any dates. Valve is currently testing Beta 2.0, then will send out invites to players to own the original release before eventually transitioning to an open beta.

One of the biggest changes in the Artifact beta is that cards will not be sold outside of the game. Cards will be unlocked by playing the game, and a new Hero Draft mode will allow players to construct decks “without all the pressure.”

The company noted it has plans to sell extra content for the game, but none involve cards or packs.

The other gameplay change is zooming the game board out to show all three lanes. Each lane will still have to be individually maintained though “it’s less likely that a player will get shut out in the same way they used to,” according to the studio.

Artifact originally released in November 2018, which was Valve’s first released game since Dota 2 in 2013. Five months later, the studio halted updates to reassess the “deep-rooted issues” of the game after the player base dropped significantly soon after launch.

Animal Crossing Musical Chairs Is Very Wholesome to Watch

4 years 1 month ago

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been out for only 10 days at this point and players continue to blow my mind with just how creative they can get. One Reddit user that goes by Tetraterra uploaded a video to the Animal Crossing subreddit over the weekend, showing them and their friends playing high stakes musical chairs and it’s incredibly adorable to watch.

The video starts off with the group of players discussing how much the pot would be for the winner of the game. In this case, the winner of this round of musical chairs would win a whopping 105,000 Bells –Tom Nook would be proud.

You can then see the group complete multiple rounds of musical chairs with each one taking place in a specified location on the island.

It’s absolutely adorable to see all of the players running around the island together like a group of toddlers causing mischief at a local playground or something. Just watch them use their ladders and vaulting poles — it’s utterly wholesome!

You can see the entire video down below that cuts to all of the best parts of their musical chairs-filled night.

New Sakura Wars Trailer Shows The Rich Setting of the Game and Anime in Five Minutes

4 years 1 month ago

Today Pony Canyon released a brand new video dedicated to the Sakura Wars franchise.

While the video was specifically released to celebrate the anime, which will debut in Japan on April 3, it works as a lovely introduction to the world even for those who are eagerly awaiting to play the PS4 game.

It provides an extensive introduction to the setting in about five minutes, not only focusing on the “present day,” but also on the past games released in the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast era.

If you’re new to the franchise, it’s a good chance to take a look at those who came before, including the previous Floral Revue which was the focus of the original Sakura Wars and most of its sequel, the Paris Revue which debuted in Sakura Wars 3, and the New York Revue at the center of Sakura Wars: So Long My Love.

You can check out the video below.

Incidentally, during a livestream today, Sega also announced that the old OVA series will be aired on YouTube on April 3 to celebrate the new TV series.

On top of that, a car sponsorized by the franchise will take part in the All Japan Rally Championship. You can see it below.

However, due to the restrictions and issues posed by the COVID-19 situation, many players of these games are responsibly staying home, limiting their access to some of these titles’ features. Predator: Hunting Grounds Preview – The Thrill of the Hunt

4 years 1 month ago

The Predator franchise hasn’t had the best of luck in terms of its most recent films, but the upcoming Predator: Hunting Grounds has many hopeful that it can find new longevity in the gaming medium. We had a chance to see what the title has to offer during its pre-release trial period this weekend, and it certainly has some potential for great things.

At its core, Predator: Hunting Grounds is an asymmetrical multiplayer title in the same vein as the Friday the 13th game, but with slightly more polish and a shooter slant. Both sides of the match are armed and dangerous – though the Predator has a clear advantage in terms of firepower – and can pick apart waves of AI enemies while trying to take each other down.

One side plays as a fire team of four players, tasked with completing a certain task and escaping the jungle in a certain amount of time. Each player can take the role of a different type of soldier, and can contribute to the team’s success in a different way.

Assault troops offer a good balance of speed, durability and useful gear, and can lead the charge into fire fights. Support units can tank damage and lay down suppressive fire to keep enemies at bay, while Scouts can zoom in and out of enemy territory quickly to get a handle on what the team is walking into.

Bungie Releases Destiny 2’s Secret ‘Shaxxerize’ Tape

4 years 1 month ago

A lot of us in the United States, Europe and around the world have been cooped up in our homes as of late. A lot of us are snacking away and eating up what we can find in our cupboards. As a native New Yorker, my pantry is filled with bagels and pizza, of course, and that’s not usually part of any successful summer bod plan.

A recently released track from the official Destiny 2 YouTube channel though might be able to motivate me to get back in shape.

What’s going on here you might ask? An easter egg in Commander Zavala’s office during the recently released 4th Horseman exotic quest revealed that Zavala looks to Shaax for some extra motivation during workouts. No true Destiny fan will blame him.

I’ve said it before on Twinfinite (somewhere) that if I could have a hype person for everything I do in my life Lord Shaax would somewhere near the top of the list of people I feel would be qualified to push me. Whether you’re experiencing victory or defeat, Lord Shaax always gets you pumped and ready for another round of Crucible or even… life.

Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation Celebrates Sayuri’s Birthday With Double Serving of Paid Gacha

4 years 1 month ago

Koei Tecmo and DMM love to use birthdays as an established way to make some cash in Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation and Sayuri’s isn’t an exception.

The gentle nurse Sayuri is the latest heroine added to the game and her birthday is on March 31, which is already today in Japan.

Normally, the developers of the game launch a paid-only gacha to celebrate a girl’s birthday, but since Sayuri is pretty new and many are likely eager to unlock her (which requires drawing an SSR costume), this time around we get two.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that you have a better chance to draw the required SSR to unlock Sayuri. Each gacha needs to be rolled on separately, and it has the usual abysmal 1.1% chance of getting any SSR.

Even worse, if you want the specific new SSR costume feature in the gachas, the percentage drops to 0.78%.

If you want to see whether the new costumes are worth your money (I guarantee they aren’t worth mine), you can find a trailer below.

If you’d rather not spend wagons of money, another chance to unlock Sayuri will come on April 6, with the second part of the current Alice Gear Aegis collaboration event. The percentage will be 0.36% then, but at least you’ll be able to use your free V-stones instead of resorting to the credit card.

Riot Games’ 5v5 Shooter Valorant’s Closed Beta Begins Next Month; Sign-Ups Live

4 years 1 month ago

Riot Games’ upcoming 5v5 shooter Valorant will run its PC closed beta from next month, April 7, the developer/publisher confirmed today. Sign-ups are already live over on the game’s official website, though space is currently limited to players in Europe, Canada, United States, Turkey, Russia and CIS countries.

Riot explains that “the plan is to roll out to more regions, if possible, pending the volatile logistics of launching a beta effectively during a global pandemic.”

Valorant’s closed beta is slated to run through until its full launch in the summer of 2020. Progress made during the beta will not carry over, though Riot will give players their Valorant Points back (the in-game currency), with an additional 20% bonus “as a thanks.”

If you haven’t heard of Valorant, it’s a competitive team shooter in the same vein as something like Overwatch. However, it features a stronger emphasis on precise shooting mechanics, also allowing players to purchase a wide range of guns via in-game currency. It was first revealed in full earlier this month after having been teased as “Project A” last year.

For a deeper dive into Valorant’s development and to better understand the core principles it is being built around, Riot Games has today published a new dev diary video that seeks to highlight exactly that. You can check it out below.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Free Trial Starts Today; Friend Pass System Allows Players to Invite 3 Others For Co-Op

4 years 1 month ago

If you’ve never played Ghost Recon Breakpoint and want to dip your toes in, now is your chance. Ubisoft has today announced a free six-hour trial on PS4, Xbox One, and PC starting from today. Further, those who do own the game can invite up to three buddies to come and try co-op for six hours, too, which doesn’t actually count as part of their free single-player trial. The promotion runs through until June.

Perhaps most notably, especially for fans of Splinter Cell, the trial allows you to experience the first mission in Episode 2 of Breakpoint’s season pass. It’s called Deep state and it brings two new classes, the Ghost Experience mode, and the first of an eight-mission campaign with Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher.

The free trial expires after six hours of playtime, but participants will be pleased to know their progress will save over if they choose to purchase the game. Also, if you tried the recent free weekend pass and didn’t use all your time then that will also count over for this one.

For those who don’t own Breakpoint, you’ll need to download the specific Trial version of the game required to take advantage of a Friend Pass invite.

If you haven’t already, check out the recent trailer showcasing what’s on offer in Deep State.

Rumor: Nintendo to Celebrate Mario’s 35th Anniversary with New Games & Re-Released Classics

4 years 1 month ago

Unnamed sources have told VGC that Nintendo is planning to celebrate Mario 35th anniversary this year by not only releasing new games in the series including a new Paper Mario game, but re-releasing classic games in some form for the Nintendo Switch.

Shortly after VGC’s report, Eurogamer also corroborated the broader details from these unnamed sources and added a few details of their own. They confirmed that a new Paper Mario is in development, and that a deluxe version of Super Mario 3D World was also in the cards too.

But that’s not all; following the Eurogamer report, Gematsu also jumped into the mix and filled in some more of the blanks which have since been updated into the Eurogamer story. According to Gematsu, high-definition remasters of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy are also all planned.

All three reached out to Nintendo for comment and all three received the usual Nintendo “does not comment on rumor and speculation.”

As with any rumor, take it with a major grain of salt. That said, the publications that are lining up to corroborate and also add to the original report does give this particular rumor a bit more credibility than your average unnamed sources story.

5 Animal Crossing: New Horizons DLC Ideas That Would Rake in the Bells for Nintendo

4 years 1 month ago

Familiar Faces

Animal Crossing New Horizons DLC

By this point, if you’re playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ve likely already realized that a number of iconic faces from the series haven’t made the cut this time. Crazy Redd, Brewster, Joan, Tortimer and Kapp’n all for one reason or another just haven’t shown up on Tom Nook’s deserted island getaway.

While some have naturally been replaced by their offspring in the case of Joan the Turnip Seller, others just haven’t made the cut for whatever reason.

This DLC would see the return of a handful of these creatures. Crazy Redd would stop by with his paintings and rare furniture, Brewster would set-up shop in the Museum basement, Blathers would extend the building to include a new Paintings wing, Tortimer could just rock up offering words of wisdom and cool furniture, and Joan… she could show up spontaneously to offer even better turnip prices than her successor Daisy Mae.

Granblue Fantasy Versus’ DLC Screenshots Show Djeeta’s Moves and Soriz’s “Weapon” Skin

4 years 1 month ago

Today Cygames released quite a few new screenshots focusing on the DLC coming for Granblue Fantasy Versus.

The screenshots were published on the official website and on the official Twitter account.

First of all, we get to see Djeeta’s moves, on top of one of Soriz’s “weapon” skins. Quotation marks are obligatory because Soriz fights bare-fisted like the absolute badass he is, which means that his weapon skins are actually knuckle tattoos.

Both Djeeta and Soriz will release on April 7.

We’re Still Waiting for These 3 Xbox Exclusives to Get a Sequel

4 years 1 month ago

Sunset Overdrive

Xbox exclusives that need sequels

One of the Xbox One’s biggest and best exclusives in its early years was Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive.

The story was simple, an energy drink company had messed with its formula and it resulted in a ton of monsters invading the city. It was down to you and an insane arsenal of weapons to save the city by grinding on telephone wires, leaping through the air, and avoiding staying still or touching the ground at any cost.

What you got was a splattering of vibrant colors as you flipped through the air, raining down pain on the orange creatures that bayed for your blood below. The whole thing was really zany and out there, and the world offered up plenty of reasons to explore so you weren’t just constantly making a beeline for the next main objective marker.

This Crazy-Realistic Forest Was Created in Dreams

4 years 1 month ago

Ever since Media Molecule’s Dreams released for the PS4 in early access last year, we’ve seen some pretty incredible and imaginative creations like a demake of the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last of Us Part II as a PS1 game, and a bunch other levels that you just have to see for yourself.

The latest Dreams creation to get the spotlight over the last few days has been one that was made by a user that goes by Bad Robo on YouTube. They’ve basically managed to create one of the most hyper-realistic forests ever seen in the PS4 game and it’s absolutely wild to see in motion.

Bad Robo has been releasing short video snippets of the level to give viewers a taste of the entire experience and he mentions in the video comments that it’s currently not playable at the moment, but you can still see it in all of its glory down below:

Animal Crossing New Horizons Review – The Definitive AC Experience

4 years 1 month ago

Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch

Animal Crossing is unlike most other video games because it follows a real-time clock and calendar. It is meant to be played for the course of a year in order to fully appreciate everything it has to offer. That being said, after only one week with the game, I can confidently say that New Horizons is the most wonderful mix of innovation and familiarity, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

After seven years of waiting, the newest entry in the series takes natural steps forward in ways I didn’t know were needed and with very few shortcomings. At the time, New Leaf felt like the definitive Animal Crossing experience, yet New Horizons clears that high bar.

If you’re not familiar with the series, you play as a human who has decided to move to an island as part of the Nook Deserted Island Getaway Package. You, along with two animals, start a brand new life with nothing but a tent and the clothes off your back.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… Announced for the West; No Mention of Gestalt

4 years 1 month ago

Following yesterday’s announcement for Japan, today the western arm of Square Enix confirmed that NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is coming to North America and Europe.

The press release doesn’t just confirm that the game is coming west, but it also clears doubts on which version of the game we’re getting.

It appears that NieR: Gestalt, the version of the original NieR created for the west (and also released in Japan on Xbox 360) will remain confined in the past, while Replicant will be the version at the center of this new releases on all regions and platforms.

The difference is that while Replicant’s protagonist is a brother on a quest to heal his sister, Gestalt replaces him with a much older and grizzled father, likely considered more suitable to please the western audience at the time.

It’s worth mentioning that the western arm of Square Enix has not mentioned a western release of the mobile game NieR Re[in]carnation, which was announced for Japan at the same time as Replicant ver.1.22474487139….

Below you can find the full announcement and the full key art from the press release.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Review – Not Enough Meat on the Bone

4 years 1 month ago

Resident Evil 3 Remake Review on PlayStation 4

Resident Evil 3 Remake’s opening scene is a clever reimagining of the 1999 classic. Gone is the cheesy expositional dialogue, replaced by an opportunity to wander the confines of Jill’s apartment. In first-person. For a brief moment –and disappointingly so– we see the world through her eyes, isolated and afraid as she hunkers down from the spread of the t-virus. It’s impossible to ignore parallels to the coronavirus pandemic that’s gripping the world right now –a reality that gives the scene extra punch that hits frighteningly close to home.

But unfortunately, this is about the last time Resident Evil 3 Remake inspires that same sense of wonder and gravitas, the last time it offers something more than just defaulting to a modern and glamorous redo of Jill’s linear escape from Raccoon City. Indeed, while its slick production values and entertaining gameplay will ultimately thrill most players in the same way as its predecessor, I found myself disappointed that this next remade chapter of Capcom’s most beloved franchise never delivers anything too far beyond the original framework.

It’s a frustration compounded by a comically short length, even less than the original which I remember was criticized back in 1999. Six hours is all it took me to complete a first, fairly doddering playthrough of Resident Evil 3 Remake. Three hours at a second attempt on its hardcore difficulty, which is the only reason to experience the story again given there’s no A/B side feature adding to replayability.

20 years later, with Capcom having appreciated the criticism of the original and surely understanding how anticipated the remake is, the lack of content is particularly bizarre. It’s a missed opportunity that I sadly can’t avoid dedicating a large portion of this review to lamenting.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord’s Epic Early Access Trailer Highlights Combat & Sandbox Gameplay

4 years 1 month ago

Finally, it’s harvesting season! The long wait for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, a game that’s been eight years in the making, is drawing to a close. Today the Early Access period kicks off, providing the first opportunity to sample its single-player content. Naturally, there’s a trailer to celebrate, and it’s suitably epic.

As the sequence showcases, Bannerlord is a third-person/strategy hybrid that combines action-RPG combat with the tactical nuances of building an army and forging a kingdom across a sandbox campaign. There’s an extremely deep character customization system, and the game also features a realistic world economy.

But the Mount & Blade franchise is best known for its skill-based, directional combat system, which looks to have been even further polished this time around. In addition to the smaller encounters both in its single-player and competitive multiplayer, Bannerlord’s largest battles see clashes of soldiers up to 2,000 strong, and the full release could more than double that.

You can check out today’s new trailer below, and if you’d like more details on the game then head over to its steam page. The game is currently discounted at the moment for those that want to jump in straight away.

Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor Trailer Teases a Looming Threat

4 years 1 month ago

The Elder Scrolls Online’s Greymoor expansion has received a new trailer, and it sets up an epic journey where players will clash with what goes bump in the night.

Streamed through the official Bethesda Softworks YouTube account on Mar. 30, the trailer shows off some of what will transpire before and during the expansion’s story. Set in the Northern region of Skyrim, it sees Lyris Titanborn, a warrior of some renown, attempting to convince warriors to join her in quelling a rising threat laying siege to the land.

Townsfolk are being killed and twisted by evil forces. These malicious entities range from the familiar, like Falmer and Werewolves; to the more extraordinary, like Hellhounds and a dark being drawn from a massive surge of evil magic.

The only way to stop this threat is if the land’s greatest warriors – including the player – join forces and put a stop to this evil before it consumes everything, facing it down wherever it sprouts up and forcing it back from whence it came.

It’s a properly fantastical setup, and a great intro for those diving into the expansion’s Prologue trial event kicking off today on all platforms. The trial will cover the set-up for the expansion with a quest detailing just how dire the stakes are, and what kind of threat is looming for the land of Tamriel.

Those diving into the Prologue, or even those with a passing interest in the expansion, will want to view the full trailer down below.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Retail Copies Ship Early due to COVID-19; Developers ask Those With Copies not to Spoil Story

4 years 1 month ago

The outbreak of COVID-19 has had a notable impact on the retail release of some major games, but Square Enix has found a solution for the hard-copy release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

In a statement posted to the company’s official website on Mar. 30, it was revealed that the company had intentionally shipped copies of the game early in order to better ensure most retailers could provide the game to customers by its original release date of Apr. 10.

Copies have already been shipped to and received by some retailers in Europe and Australia. More of the game’s full release total will be shipped to other countries in the western regions in the near future, though the company can’t give a specific date or time due to the odd circumstances and the challenges in tracking said shipments at this time.

This also resulted in a heartfelt plea from the team behind the game to anyone who receives the title before its intended launch date.

“If you get the game early, please think of others and don’t spoil it for them. We know there are potential spoilers that have been out there for over two decades as the original FINAL FANTASY VII was released in 1997. But FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE is a new game that still has many surprises for everyone,” the statement reads.

“All our fans and players deserve to experience the game for themselves, and we ask for the support of our dedicated community around the world to ensure that.”

Steins;Gate Developer Mages Acquired by Colopl

4 years 1 month ago

Today Tokyo-based publisher Colopl announced via press release that it has acquired all shares of popular developer Mages, mostly known for its visual novels.

The acquisition was motivated by the will to combine Mages’ ability to create original IP to the popular IP already belonging to the Colopl group in order to further improve the group’s competitiveness in its mainstay mobile services business.

On top of games, Mages also works on music and events, and Colopl expects its business to continue to grow in the future.

As a result, Mages will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Colopl.

Just last summer, Mages had acquired its independence from its former parent company Dwango, and from the Kadokawa group through a management buyout by Chiyomaru Shikura’s Chiyomaru Studio.

The developer is indeed known for many popular IP, including the Science Adventure franchise with Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes, Chaos;Child, and more.

Just recently it had announced Steins;Gate 0 Elite and a Hollywood live-action TV series based on the same IP.

Colopl is perhaps less known in the west due to its focus on mobile games like White Cat Project, Alice Gear Aegis, and many more.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Getting New Aircraft as Paid DLC

4 years 1 month ago

Four months have passed since the release of the “last” paid DLC for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, but turns out that it was actually not the last.

The Japanese press release announcing the free 25th Anniversary update which will come on April 2 included an additional nugget of information.

The team at Project Aces is working on new aircraft to be delivered as paid DLC in the future.

We also hear that further details will be released at a later time, with the encouragement to look forward to them.

This means that, for the moment, we don’t yet know what kind of warbirds will be released with this additional DLC, nor we know whether it’ll be one or multiple.

One thing is for sure: the fact that the game is still getting DLC a year after its release shows once more how successful it has been among the fans.

If you’d like to know in detail why Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is so good, you can read my full review. You can also watch the previous trailer released to celebrate the last DLC.

The game is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The development team is likely also already planning for the next step for the franchise, as mentioned in my recent interview with Brand Director Kazutoki Kono and Producer Manabu Shimomoto.

4 years 1 month ago

Today, during an event in Japan, Square Enix announced “NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…”

And yes, that’s the actual name of the game.

According to the developers, it isn’t specifically a remaster or remake of the original NieR Replicant, but it has been defined an upgrade. That’s why it’s aptly called “ver.1.22474487139…” pretty much like it was an update to the original game with a variety of new elements added.

Besides, I’m quite sure no one will be surprised by a slightly weird title given to a game by Yoko Taro.

It’ll release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. It will be fully voiced and doesn’t yet have a launch window.

Composer Keeichi Okabe is also back working on the soundtrack with re-recoded music and new tracks as well.

We know that the title is developed by Tokyo-based studio Toylogic, which worked on the 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI, The Evil Within, Happy Wars, and more.

You can check out a trailer of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… below.

NieR Replicant marked the beginning of the NieR series in 2010, directed by Yoko Taro and developed by Cavia.

HuniePop 2: Double Date Developer Returns to Work After Health-Related Break

4 years 1 month ago

Fans of the puzzle dating simulator HuniePop have been eagerly waiting for its sequel, HuniePop 2: Double Date, but development has been slowed down by health-related issues.

Developer Ryan Koons A.K.A. HuniePot mentioned back in February that he had developed a serious condition and that he would need to prioritize taking care of his health, causing a further delay for the game.

Today he took to Twitter to announce that is now feeling much better and he is back at work. As a matter of fact, he has been for a little while, but opted not to mention it until he was positive.

Of course, the news was welcomed by outpouring enthusiasm and support from the game’s passionate community.

If you’re unfamiliar with the HuniePop franchise, the first game launched on Steam back in 2015 as a hybrid between a puzzle game, a visual novel, and a dating sim. Despite its rather alluring nature, it drew a lot of attention for its solid puzzle mechanics and the beautiful artwork.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Releasing One Day Early & Discounted in Early Access

4 years 1 month ago

The good folks at Taleworlds Entertainment are getting ready to unleash the early access of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, sequel of the cult sandbox RPG Mount & Blade: Warband.

The game has been in the making for eight years, and even Coronavirus didn’t stop the Ankara-based studio that has recently shifted its developers to smart-working from home.

As a matter of fact, they decided to slightly accelerate the early access launch by one day, launching at 10.00 am UTC on March 30 instead of March 31.

That’s not all. The studio acknowledges that “the current situation has placed a lot of people in a difficult position when it comes to balancing their finances and risking their health.” In view of that, the game will be discounted by 10% for the first two weeks of early access, and if you already own any M&B game, you’ll be eligible to a further 10% discount on select digital stores.

The Early Access version features multiplayer and two single-player modes, Custom Battle and Campaign.

In singleplayer, you will have access to Custom Battle and Campaign game modes. Campaign is a new and somewhat more structured approach to the Mount & Blade experience that blends a storyline and key events with the traditional sandbox gameplay that our players are familiar with. Campaign aims to provide players with clear goals and missions that can lead to a successful conclusion to a playthrough. However, if you refuse to take any direction and prefer to plot your own rise to power, you can simply ignore the campaign missions and go about your business!
