Destiny 2: Beyond Light Roadmap and Stasis Classes Revealed

3 years 6 months ago
Bungie has released a new ViDoc and a roadmap for Destiny 2: Beyond Light, which details what’s arriving in the first season, named Season of the Hunt. Alongside the new destination of Europa and a refreshed Cosmodrome, players can expect three Darkness classes and a whole new Stasis damage type, which Bungie has now provided more information on. Beyond Light kicks off on November 10, with Season of the Hunt lasting from November until February. On launch day you can expect the Beyond Light campaign, the Darkness/Stasis classes, the quest for Salvation’s Grip Exotic grenade launcher, the Europa destination, new version of the Cosmodrome, a new Strike, new Lost Sectors, and new seasonal weapons, armour, ranks, mods, and shaders. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/20/destiny-2-beyond-light-story-reveal-trailer"] The season mission for Season of the Hunt will kick off on November 17, while the new Deep Stone Crypt raid will begin on November 21. The first Iron Banner of the season will kick off on December 8, while The Dawning will run from December 15 to January 5. As for the Darkness subclasses, Titans will be able to become a Behemoth, Warlocks a Shadebinder, and Hunters a Revenant. As with Arc, Solar, and Void, Darkness provides a new damage type with Stasis, which freezes enemies in place, allowing them to be shattered. The subclass menus have been rearranged and now include the ability to apply Aspects and Fragments to your character. Aspects are essentially mods for your character; an example is Iceflare Bolts, which grants a small amount of grenade energy and spawns seekers that track and freeze other nearby targets when frozen enemies are shattered.

Madden 21 and FIFA 21 to Get PS5 and Xbox Series Versions in December

3 years 6 months ago
Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21 will be released as next-gen versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 4. The new versions of the games will, according to a press release, add "blazing fast load times, the most realistic, fluid player movement ever in EA SPORTS titles, authentic game day experiences inside stadiums and new player detail unlocked by deferred rendering and lighting." The PS5 versions will also add haptic feedback using the DualSense controller. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/07/20/madden-21-review"] It's unclear if these are the only new features in each game. Previously, EA has made clear that it won't be using Xbox's Smart Delivery upgrade scheme because Madden 21 will "include new features unavailable to the prior generation." As previously confirmed, owners of Madden 21 and FIFA 21 on PS4 or Xbox One will receive a free upgrade to the respective next-gen versions through EA's Dual Entitlement scheme. Those who own disc versions of the games will need to contact EA to get an upgrade code, but the publisher has not yet explained the process for that. Current-gen versions of both games should run as backwards compatible titles on both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S between the launch of next-gen consoles and that December release date. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/06/fifa-21-review"] In Madden 21, progress and content in Ultimate Team, The Yard and both Franchise modes wil carry over between curtrent and next gen. In FIFA 21, Ultimate Team and Volta will carry over. As previously confirmed, FIFA save data from Online Seasons, Co-Op Seasons, Career Mode and Pro Clubs won't transfer. This year hasn't been a banner year for EA's flagship sports games.

Astro's Playroom PS5 Hands-On: DualSense Is a Fun Evolution

3 years 6 months ago
One of the most exciting unknowns about the PlayStation 5 is how its next-gen system introduces a surprising revamp of PlayStation’s long-standing controller. The DualSense’s advanced haptics and adaptive triggers are meant to better immerse players in the games the next generation will deliver, but it’s still a question of whether its added tech is a launch gimmick or a more lasting change. Thankfully, Astro’s Playroom is a free pack-in launch game for PS5 meant to showcase what the DualSense can do. And my time with it – I was allowed to preview the Cooling Springs level – certainly hinted at some of the potential for what the new controller can deliver in a surprisingly Nintendo-like way, while also being a joyful PlayStation homage and a fun platformer in its own right. Developed by Team Asobi, the same team behind one of my favorite platformers of the generation and PSVR hall of famer Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Playroom carries over the basics from Astro Bot’s last outing. The little robot has a punch, a charged up tornado spin attack, a jump, and an elongated hover. But otherwise, Asobi shines in building playgrounds to showcase all the little tricks and gadgets newly on offer. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=astros-playroom-ps5-screenshots&captions=true"] Vaguely set in the cooling fan of the PS5, Cooling Springs first throws you into a beachfront area, replete with other bots swimming, learning to surf, and soaking in the rays from inside your PS5.

Confirmed in a tweet from the Nintendo of Europe Twitter account, we see pictures of the inverted camera options in the settings menu for Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. Update Ver.1.1.0 will be added on November 17, and includes options to invert the camera both in third- and first-person modes separately. Inverted camera controls have been requested by fans ever since the game launched without them, so this is a welcome addition for Nintendo fans. Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition Won't Support Ray Tracing on Xbox Series S

3 years 6 months ago
While Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will be enhanced in many ways on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, only the Series X will support ray tracing. Announced by Capcom, both versions will still support high frame rates up to 120 fps, enhanced 3D audio, reduced loading times, the Legendary Dark Knight difficulty, Turbo Mode, and a playable Vergil. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/devil-may-cry-5-special-edition-ps5-gameplay-trailer"] Ray tracing, which is possible on the Xbox Series S, will be available for Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition on Xbox Series X as a downloadable title update, and even though it won't be supported on Series S, Capcom did leave a bit of hope for the future, stating that it is "just now scratching the surface of what they can do" and that it is "eager to continue exploring the full capabilities of Xbox Series X/S in the future." So, while Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will be the same in most cases on the next-gen consoles, only the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 will support 4K and ray tracing. Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will be available at the launch of both Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, and even though PS4 and Xbox One users won't get many of these upgrades, they will still be able to play as Vergil via paid DLC. Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 1 DLC Review

3 years 6 months ago
Doom Eternal’s first story DLC, The Ancient Gods Part 1, reminds me a lot of one of the original Doom’s expansion episodes, Thy Flesh Consumed. Both are more intense and challenging versions of their base games. And technically, you can jump straight into The Ancient Gods, but my goodness would I not recommend it. If you try to go into this cold, they’ll end up scraping you off the walls. For the most part it’s more of the same but harder, which certainly scratches an itch. You’re going to need every weapon powerup, rune, and Praetor suit token you’ve earned in the main campaign – which all carry over to the DLC – in order to have any hope of surviving Doomguy’s latest assignment. The Ancient Gods wastes no time in stuffing you into the nearest locker, high school bully-style. You’ll have a Marauder thrown at you a mere 15 or 20 minutes into the first of these three long missions. And immediately after that, a tempting powerup at the end of a corridor “rewards” you by locking you in close quarters with a Cyberdemon. That sets the tone for what to expect from The Ancient Gods over its 3-6 hours. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=10-best-id-software-weapons&captions=true"] The thing about Doom, though, is that its high-speed hijinks are a good kind of pain. I hadn’t played Doom Eternal since it was first released, and I got beaten up pretty hard while I warmed up and found my footing. Once I did, though, I found that same adrenaline rush that Doom has mastered so uniquely.

Three years later and the Nintendo Switch continues to hold its own against the Xbox One and PS4. XIII Remastered: Here's What Comes in Each Edition

3 years 6 months ago
The XIII remake is set to release for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 10 (see it on Amazon). A souped-up version of the 2003 original, this new XIII will maintain the comic book-inspired art style, but present it in HD. The soundtrack and audio work, including voice acting by the likes of David Duchovny, will also be remastered. Something of a cult classic, XIII tells the tale of an amnesiac military operative who wakes up to discover he's being hunted by a pair of villainous organizations. Thankfully, he's a weapons expert, so let the shooting begin. This 2020 version is being released in two editions and comes with a preorder bonus.

Raven Co-Founder on Leading Black Ops Cold War After Supporting Call of Duty For 10 Years

3 years 6 months ago
According to Raven Software co-founder Brian Raffel, the studio is extremely excited to be leading development of its own Call of Duty campaign after doing essential support work for the franchise for so many years. IGN's Ryan McCaffrey sat down with Raffel to discuss Raven Software's storied history in the latest episode of IGN Unfiltered (the full episode drops tomorrow), along with discussions on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Hexen, Heretic, Soldier of Fortune, and more. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/09/16/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-gameplay-trailer"] When asked what it was like leading their own project after spending years as a support studio for the Call of Duty juggernaut franchise, Raffel said, "It's been really great. We have worked for quite a few years on the Call of Duty franchise. We've loved the franchise... so when we got this opportunity, we were super pumped about it." "We've done a lot of work on different campaigns over the years, but this one is... directed by [Raven's Creative Director] Dan [Vondrak] and our team... It's an exciting time in the timeline, and one that we felt was ripe for opportunities for some of the things we wanted to do." [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-campaign-screenshots&captions=true"] Raffel then pointed out that COD: Black Ops Cold War is the direct sequel to the first game Raven ever teamed with Treyarch to work on, which is a notable landmark for the studio, in and of itself. When asked about the most notable thing about the Black Ops franchise, Raffel said "it's very clever to us... the 'dark stories that people didn't hear...' That's always the most interesting for all of us...

Xbox Isn't Actively Planning Bethesda's Future Until After the Acquisition Is Complete

3 years 6 months ago
Xbox Head Phil Spencer is not actively planning the future for Bethesda, because Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax Media is not yet complete. In an interview with Gamereactor, Spencer said he expects the acquisition to be finalized by early next year. "First of all, I would like to say that we haven't acquired ZeniMax," Spencer said. "We have announced our intention to acquire ZeniMax. It is going through regulatory approval and we don't see any issues there." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/23/xboxs-bethesda-exclusivity-stance-evolves-next-gen-console-watch"] Spencer said it would be illegal for him to sit down with Bethesda Director Todd Howard and ZeniMax Media CEO Robert Altman to make future plans until Microsoft officially acquires ZeniMax. Long-term, Spencer said he wants ZeniMax's studios, including Bethesda, Arkane, id Software, MachineGames, and more, to create the best games they've ever made, aided by the support of Microsoft. In September, Microsoft announced plans to buy ZeniMax Media for $7.5 billion. With the acquisition, franchises including The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, Doom, Dishonored, and Starfield will join Xbox's first-party portfolio. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/09/21/xboxbethesda-deal-what-it-means-for-ps5-ign-daily-fix"] Microsoft said it plans to honor the previous agreements Bethesda made with Sony to release Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo as PlayStation 5 exclusives. As far as exclusivity for future titles from Bethesda and other ZeniMax studios, we've heard Microsoft will make decisions on a case-by-case basis.

PS5 Launch Game Destruction AllStars Delayed to February

3 years 6 months ago
PS5 launch title Destruction AllStars has been delayed to February 2021, and will be released as a PlayStation Plus free game. Announced on the PlayStation blog, the move has been motivated, at least in part, by ensuring the multiplayer game has an audience. "Destruction AllStars is a multiplayer game that’s at its best when you’re competing with gamers online from all around the world", explains PlayStation director of product development Pete Smith. "We want as many people as possible to experience the mayhem on PS5, and what better way to do that than to provide the game to our PlayStation Plus members?" [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/06/11/destruction-allstars-announcement-trailer-ps5-reveal-event"] Sony makes clear that existing pre-orders will be refunded. The game - which has been notably quiet since its announcement in June - will get new details and a trailer next week, to explain what players will get when they download it. The game seems to mix destruction derby mechanics with some measure of on-foot action, with a series of different cars and heroes to choose from.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure: New PS5 Gameplay Details

3 years 6 months ago
Sackboy: A Big Adventure brings the LittleBigPlanet star back into the spotlight for an adventure focused on platforming fun rather than the creation side of his former franchise. That doesn’t mean the new adventure is losing any of the charm, wit, or creativity of LBP, but is instead putting the focus on a platforming adventure crafted to offer variety, challenge, and a whole lot of slapstick fun. IGN recently spoke with developer Sumo Digital’s Ned Waterhouse about Sackboy’s new adventure as he goes on a quest to save Craftworld and the other Sackpeople from the villainous Vex, and what the developers are bringing to PS4 and PS5 players. Here are some of the big and small takeaways from what players can expect in the new Sackboy adventure. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=sackboy-a-big-adventure-ps5-screenshots&captions=true"]

Why Sackboy Will Run at a Locked 60 FPS

Though Sumo Digital has confirmed before that Sackboy will run at 60 FPS, Waterhouse spoke a bit at length about why, from the start of the project, this locked framerate was such a key facet of the game. “We said from day one, the absolute must was a smooth 60 frames per second because we focused on play and that was about creating the best platform we could. For us, that meant awesome character controls, and it meant a really responsive character,” Waterhouse said, explaining that that also meant a solid framerate on both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/sackboy-a-big-adventure-sumo-introduces-sackboy-video"] He continued, “So we said from the get-go, it has to be a solid 60 across all platforms. We use dynamic resolution scaling to ensure that we can keep it at a smooth 60, but that was our priority throughout development.

Fortnite Has 'Many Years of Marvel Integration' Planned

3 years 6 months ago
Fortnite has "many years of Marvel integration" planned beyond the current Nexus War featured in Chapter 2, Season 4 of the game, and has years of general storytelling for the Battle Royale in the works. As reported by Eurogamer, Epic Games Studio's Worldwide Creative Director Donald Mustard revealed the news as part of his appearance on episode 469 of the This Week in Marvel podcast. "The reason we called this season Nexus War is that this is just the start of lots of stuff we have planned for many years of Marvel integration," Mustard told the hosts. "This is not the end, this is the beginning." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/27/fortnite-x-marvel-season-4-nexus-war-update-explained"] Mustard goes onto explain how they teased it with Deadpool and Captain America throughout the year, building up to the introduction of Galactus, who according to Mustard, had been planned even prior to Fortnite's blockbuster black hole event. "The Zero Point reorganised all the matter around the island and kind of created this new island." "Galactus kind of felt this re-organising of reality and was like 'huh, there's this energy source at kind of the centre of everything and if I can consume that, I can consume not just the Marvel reality, I can consume everything,' Mustard continued. "We knew in the background that Galactus is feeling this and is on his way. That was the inciting event that attracted his attention." Mustard goes on to talk about how Fortnite is a "nexus of all of these realities," hence the crossover between branded worlds.

Ghostrunner Review

3 years 6 months ago

There is no shortage of great ninja-centric video games out there, from Ninja Gaiden to Metal Gear Rising to more recent gems  like Katana Zero. But even among those, Ghostrunner stands out by being 100% committed to delivering that fantasy of becoming a super fast and deadly assassin. This is a game where you run fast, slide fast, kill fast, and if you can’t do those things fast enough, you die fast. It can be very demanding and requires pinpoint platforming precision and split second decision making, but it’s rarely ever frustrating thanks to instant respawns, mostly generous checkpointing, and most importantly, open ended combat encounters that offer multiple methods of approach. Make room at the table, Raiden, there’s a new sword-wielding cyberninja badass in town.

[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/ghostrunner-developers-react-to-incredible-demo-speedruns"]

Taking place in a cyberpunk-themed post apocalypse, Ghostrunner tells the story of a cybernetically enhanced swordsmen who awakens after getting thrown out of a tower with little memory of what happened to him, who he is, or why he feels compelled to immediately plunge a sword into the poor soul waiting below him. Guided by the disembodied voice of an old man known as The Architect, the Ghostrunner gets wrapped up in an ongoing power struggle between the supposed rulers of this broken world, the efforts of a dying resistance, and the mystery of who he is.

My Time At Portia Developer Announces Sequel, My Time At Sandrock

3 years 6 months ago

Chinese indie game developer Pathea Games has announced the sequel to My Time At Portia, titled My Time At Sandrock.

My Time At Portia was a charming farming sim RPG that sold over 1.7 million copies worldwide. My Time At Sandrock will release into Steam Early Access in March 2021, with a full release due on next-gen consoles, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch in Summer 2022. Check out a first trailer below:

[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/26/my-time-at-sandrock-official-trailer"]

My Time At Sandrock, like the previous game, shares elements with games like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon but with its own unique twists. The player will take the role of a builder who owns a workshop in Sandrock. They will need to complete different commissions from local townspeople and government to learn more about the storyline.

In order to complete their orders, players need to collect different resources through digging, harvesting, scavenging, cooking, and battling. They will also meet lots of brand new interesting creatures, separate from those they met in the ocean town of Portia. All characters in the game are promised to be more interactive, and dozens of NPC will have their own personalities and independent AI. One of them may even become your future husband or wife.

Players still experience the same post-apocalyptic universe and timeline as My Time At Portia, and will encounter a few surprise connections to My Time At Portia, including some familiar NPCs. Pathea Games also added in plenty of new characters, more drama, while players can enjoy transforming a desert into an oasis.

Phil Spencer Hints That a 1 vs. 100-Style Game May Return on Xbox Series X

3 years 6 months ago
Xbox head Phil Spencer has recently hinted that a trivia game, that may or may not be a revival of sorts of its 1 vs. 100 Xbox 360 game, could be on its way to Xbox Series X. As reported by VGC, Spencer made these comments during the official Xbox FanFest live stream this past Friday, which was supposed to also be accompanied by a special quiz that was unfortunately canceled due to technical issues. “I just want to say, when our teams are trying to do new things that we’ve never done before, I want to be 100 percent behind those things,” Spencer said. “Sometimes they’ll turn out amazing, sometimes they’ll be good learning experiences for us. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2009/05/18/1-vs-100-live-xbox-live-gameplay-trust-the-brain"] “But for all the fans who have been on this with us, we’re going to make it good with you guys. We don’t know exactly what it is yet, so thanks for hanging with us during this and our little experiment. We’ll learn. Maybe we should even be building our own trivia game, like from our past, that allows people to play a trivia game more often, maybe that could happen…” While Spencer didn't fully come out and say it, he was most likely referencing 1 vs. 100, which ran for two seasons between 2009-2010 before being cancelled. This game was based on the TV trivia game show of the same name and had one person - The One - facing off against a group of 100 people known as The Mob.

As reported by Kotaku, The Last of Us speedrunner Anthony Calabrese has noted that patch 1.11 has made it so "loading screens are basically non-existent on PS4" for The Last of Us Remastered. This change has even saved him nearly 18 seconds in the David fight and appears to work for both ssd and hdd. 3 years 6 months ago
GSD Group and Gensler have revealed their concept art for the upcoming Atari Hotels that are set to open in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona, and they look like something pulled out off a Cyberpunk-style future. The Atari Hotels are meant to be pop culture and video game-inspired, and GSD Group also has plans to have more locations in Austin, Chicago, Denver, San Fransisco, San Joe, and Seattle in the future. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=atari-hotel-concept-art&captions=true"] Atari, known for such classic as Asteroids, Centipede, and PONG, is looking to offer "guests a wholly unique hospitality experience inspired by, and built with, classic and modern video game culture in mind" with these new hotels. Atari Hotels, which were announced earlier this year, will allow guests to "enjoy the latest in video games, experience cutting-edge immersive entertainment, purchase exclusive Atari Hotels merchandise, and play the night away in retro-style gaming arcades." There will also be a speakeasy and nightclub, themed restaurants and bars, and much more. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2018/10/11/playing-classic-atari-gamesin-a-tesla"] “I have seen the vision that GSD Group has for Atari Hotels, and they are poised to shatter the perception of what hotels can be,” said Fred Chesnais, CEO of Atari®. “Atari Hotels will create a world that caters to gamers of all ages and experience levels, giving them a place to call home — a groundbreaking experience that shares Atari’s legacy of innovation.” [poilib element="accentDivider"] Have a tip for us? You Will Lose All Your Oculus Games If You Delete Your Facebook Account

3 years 6 months ago
If you own a Oculus Quest, Quest 2, Rift, or Rift S and have linked your Oculus account to Facebook, you will permanently lose all access to your games, purchases, and progress should you happen to delete your Facebook account. As reported by UploadVR, this news came about following the launch of the Oculus Quest 2, which is the first Oculus headset to require owners to log in with a Facebook account. As verified by IGN and seen in the screenshot we've captured below, when you attempt to delete your Facebook account, it says "Deleting your Facebook account will also delete your Oculus information. This includes app purchases and your achievements. You will no longer be able to return any apps and will lose any existing store credits." Facebook If you were to deactivate your Facebook account, on the other hand, you would lose access to Oculus products and information, but would be able to get them back if you were to reactivate the account. This is another issue and fear that have all stemmed from the news that Oculus VR will start requiring Facebook accounts. While Oculus Quest 2 requires it now, those with older Oculus hardware won't have to do so until January 1, 2023. However, first-time users will need to log in using a Facebook account. As for the Oculus Quest 2 itself, we gave it a 9/10 in our review, and said it "improves over its predecessor in a lot of little ways, with a few small drawbacks like the enlarged controllers and cheaper strap.

Apex Legends' Switch Version Delayed to 2021

3 years 6 months ago
Apex Legends has been delayed on Nintendo Switch to 2021, as the team needs more time to "do justice to the game and make it into the great experience Switch players deserve." At EA Play Live 2020, it was announced the Apex Legends would be one of seven games that EA would be bringing to Switch in 2020. However, due to the ongoing issues surround the COVID-19 pandemic, the team decided to delay the game instead of rushing it out for this year. However, when Apex Legends does arrive on Switch, it will support cross-platform play, the latest seasonal content, and full feature parity with the other version of the game. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/22/apex-legends-fight-or-fright-event-2020-trailer"] For those on PC, Apex Legends will officially be released on Steam when Season 7 launches on November 4, 2020. If you had previously been playing on Origin, all of your "account progression and unlocks will carry over between the two platforms." Season 7 will also be launching alongside the new $39.99 USD Champion Edition that includes all Legends up to Season 7, seven exclusive Legendary items, and 1,000 Apex Coins. Additionally, Apex Legends' Fight or Fright event is currently running and will end on November 3, 2020. This new event features the "Shadow Royale" LTM on Kings Canyon After Dark, Halloween-themed cosmetics, and more. Halo Movie: Guillermo del Toro Apparently Wanted Master Chief to Have an Evil Twin

3 years 6 months ago
In one of its many possible live-action incarnations, Halo was at one point set to become a movie directed by Guillermo del Toro. According to one of the original game's developers, the director was at one point pitching for an adaptation in which Master Chief had an evil twin that sided with enemy faction, The Flood. Speaking on the latest episode of IGN's Devs React to Speedruns series, centred on Halo: Combat Evolved, environment artist (and creator of Halo's title) Paul Russel brought up a mooted del Toro script for a Halo movie, and brought up a surprising plot detail: "Master Chief had a twin brother, and the twin brother sided with The Flood, and then the end of the movie was going to be brother against brother." You can hear the discussion, starting at around 58:54 in the video below: [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/24/original-halo-developers-react-to-legendary-speedrun"] The rest of the Devs React panel - made up of other Combat Evolved developers - expressed disbelief at the plot point, but Russel insists that it was at least an idea pitched to the team by the director. "That's what Joey [presumably Joseph Staten, Halo 1's writer and cinematic director] was saying. Del Toro was pitching this to Joe at his house. He was punching Joe on the arm and going, 'And they're brothers! And they're going to fight at the end!'" Sadly, we don't learn any more about del Toro's ideas before the panel turnms to other topics, although Russel does say he's sure he could get that story corroborated. Del Toro has previously told IGN that he adapted the game into a script with writer D.B.
