Season 10 of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds has arrived with update 10.1 bringing a new map with some brand new enemies. The new Haven map is a small one, dropping in a total of 32 combatants on the map. You’ve got more than 31 enemies though, because some new AI baddies will be guarding the loot this season.
Hades players can now access their save files on both PC and Nintendo Switch. Supergiant Games released an update that added the cross-save feature earlier today, December 16.
Cross-save functionality was originally promised alongside Hades' launch on Nintendo Switch, but Supergiant Games decided to push the feature to focus on the game itself. The studio said it delayed the feature so it wouldn't have to delay the full release of the game.

Those who are still playing Overwatch have stormed the Hanamura castle more times than they can count, but they haven't had much of a chance to venture outside the castle's walls. Now, thanks to a new level designer named Morton, players have that chance with the new free-for-all map called Kanezaka.
Since the development team is so focused on Overwatch 2 development, the release of this map came as somewhat of a surprise to even the developers working on the game. According to game director Jeff Kaplan, Kanezaka is a result of Morton getting up to speed with the development tools the team uses. "It was so good that the team wanted to bring it to full production," Kaplan said in a Developer Update video on the official Overwatch YouTube channel.

The Genshin Impact While It's Warm event doesn't take too long and offers a lot of Primogems, but the trade-off is how frustrating it can be.

Who would have thought that 11 years after its initial launch, Demon's Souls--a game described by a current senior PlayStation executive as "crap" and an "unbelievably bad game" when he played it during development--would be the showpiece for a new generation of PlayStation console.
From Software's PlayStation 3 original was, at the time, something that felt harsh and alienating to many. But for those who clicked with it, the game was a wholly unique experience that offered rewarding challenges with a palpable sense of self-improvement, a thoughtfully constructed world to explore and unpack, and a fascinating narrative that rewarded those willing to piece it together.
Continue Reading at GameSpotBravely Default II was one of the games I was most excited to play this year, but sadly, like so many other titles, it got pushed back to 2021. While there are still a few months before we'll get our hands on the full game, Nintendo is offering players another sampling of the final product with the Final Demo.
The demo will give players access to all four main characters from the game, with jobs and abilities readily available. Download before February 26, 2021, and you'll get 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Hey, that's another quick and easy way to score points!

Black Ops Cold War’s season 1 update brought the wrong kind of surprises to Warzone players
Blizzard has gone mostly quiet regarding Overwatch 2 this year, especially with the cancellation of BlizzCon. We know now when we'll be hearing more from the team, though, as game director Jeff Kaplan outlined upcoming plans in a year-end developer update video.
Kaplan said that we'll be hearing more details on Overwatch 2 in February at BlizzCon Online. That event was announced as a substitute for the in-person event that was canceled this year, and it only made sense that we'd hear more about Blizzard's upcoming slate of games and big game updates there.
The developer update also detailed a new free-for-all map, Kanezaka, coming to the original Overwatch, and recapped the game's updates throughout this year. Kaplan also mentioned that the team is mostly focused on Overwatch 2 right now.

Alright alright, quiet down class. We’ve got a new student in the school of unlikely objects used to control games. Move over, goose costume. Pipe down, theremin. This Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War player is using a recorder. Yes, the thing you never properly learned to play Hot Cross Buns on can be used to (sometimes) score kills in Cold War’s multiplayer.
Actress Hilary Duff posted to her Instagram account earlier today to announce that the planned revival of Lizzie McGuire on Disney+ would not be moving forward.
Originally reported by Variety, the statement reads:
I’ve been so honored to have the character of Lizzie in my life. She has made such a lasting impact on many, including myself. To see the fans’ loyalty and love for her, to this day, means so much to me. I know the efforts and conversations have been everywhere trying to make a reboot work but sadly & despite everyone’s best efforts, it isn’t going to happen. I want any reboot of Lizzie to be honest and authentic to who Lizzie would be today. It’s what the character deserves. We can all take a moment to mourn the amazing woman she would have been and the adventures we would have taken with her. I’m very sad, but I promise everyone tried their best and the stars didn’t align. Hey now, this what 2020s made of.

When Assassin's Creed Valhalla first launched, I was happy to see that it did not include XP boosts among things players could buy with real money. However, a recent update to Valhalla's in-game store has changed that, and players are now able to purchase a multiplier to the XP they earn.
The change adds a "Utility" item to the storefront that costs 1000 Helix credits (the equivalent of $10), and adds a permanent 50-percent boost to the experience players gain across all of their save files. The same bonus can also be bought as part of a 1500 Helix credit ($15) combo that grants a 50-percent boost to both XP and money.
We reached out to Ubisoft asking about why the XP boost was added. Here is the comment a representative provided:
The Cyberpunk 2077 launch ended up being a mess regarding glitches, game-breaking bugs, and reviewer restriction discourse. This has resulted in a number of refund requests for the game, especially so for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, which seemed to have been hit the hardest in terms of performance, graphics, and their overall experience. Earlier this week, CD Projekt RED apologized to fans, encouraging them to request PS4 and Xbox One refunds for those that desire them. The problem with that, however, ended up being that Sony declined many of these requests, instead telling consumers to wait until the January and February patches go through.
It was later revealed from a recent conference call that the studio never spoke with Microsoft or Sony prior to making their statement to ensure that digital refund practices would allow for refunds, resulting in another wave of miscommunication between the company and its fans. Now, CDPR is walking back its offer for PlayStation-specific refunds.
Players that have written to the helpline that were refused refunds by Sony were given the below response:

Rocket League is getting official NFL decals of all 32 teams starting tomorrow, December 17. Psyonix announced the news on its official Twitter account.
The decals place the logo on the hood of each car, alongside a special color palette that matches each team. You can even get the logo for the Washington Football Team, the temporary team name for Washington DC's club. The team changed their name from the Washington Redskins before the 2020 season due to backlash from fans.
"The NFL Fan Pack comes with slick new Octane Decals for all 32 NFL teams," the studio wrote on its official site. "Check them out in the slideshow below! The Pack will be available for purchase in-game until December 28 for 800 Credits. Look out for the pack as its own tab within the Item Shop."

Cat cafe simulation Calico has come out of the oven right on time. I was starting to fear that it would roll over into the new year without hitting its expected 2020 release window. Never fear though, Calico has scooted out here in the last weeks of the year, so you can jump in to decorate cakes, collect animal friends, and assemble your cafe right now.
Call of Duty: Warzone players have been anticipating the big update that would bring the battle royale together with Treyarch's Black Ops Cold War. However, many players were disappointed to find that the XP tokens they saved have been removed from Warzone completely.
"Did you guys notice that they took all our XP tokens from MW?" said Redditor IzNotorious. "I've been stacking them for a long time and I thought I could use them to level up my weapons in Cold War, only to notice that they took them all? Do you guys have the same problem?"
XP tokens help players level up faster by giving them double or triple the experience for a short period of time. Many players were saving them to level up the Black Ops Cold War weapons that were just added to Warzone. Now they're finding that they can only be used in Modern Warfare's multiplayer.

Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has officially begun. As part of its first season, a wealth of new content is now live in Cold War, as well as Warzone, including new weapons, maps, modes, and more. Developer Treyarch has outlined all the new additions in its Season 1 patch notes, which you can learn more about below.
On the Warzone side, the new Rebirth Island map is now available. This stage is much smaller and denser than the game's Verdansk map, supporting up to 40 players and emphasizing close-range firefights. Alongside the map, a Rebirth Island seasonal event is also now live. It includes 16 new challenges that will net you calling cards, charms, emblems, the Noxious LMG blueprint, and other rewards.
Rebirth Island also features a new mode: Resurgence. Here, the gulag is disabled, and eliminated players will respawn every 30 seconds until the match reaches the final circle or only one team remains. On top of that, killing enemy players will reveal where the rest of their teammates are currently located.
Continue Reading at GameSpotAs a long-running franchise, the Assassin’s Creed games all build on the entries before them. However, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla doesn’t just iterate; this Viking adventure takes all the right lessons from its predecessors while also bringing new twists to Ubisoft’s open-world formula, resulting in one of the series’ best installments to date.
You take control of Eivor, a Viking leader who must carve out a place for the Raven Clan to settle in 9th-century England. As you make friends and pursue political alliances in the main story, you also explore a landscape full of fun activities – a big improvement over previous games in terms of variety. Whether you’re hunting down treasure chests, solving puzzles, or helping people with their strange (and often funny) problems, the breadth of content ensures that you always having something interesting to pursue. The hardest part is choosing which entertaining task to tackle first.

The technical issues surrounding the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 have had an impact on CD Projekt Red's stock value, and that in turn is reportedly hitting its founders' net worth. Bloomberg reports that the company's founders have cut the value of their joint stake by $1 billion in only a matter of days.
The joint 34% stake in the Polish company is co-owned by three executives--Marcin Iwinski, Adam Kicinski, and Piotr Nielubowicz--along with a fourth owner, Michal Kicinski. Those four have become the among the wealthiest Poles in recent years as anticipation grew for Cyberpunk. But as the stock has been dropping, so has their wealth. Their stake was reportedly worth about $3 billion on Tuesday.
Perhaps more importantly, analysts say this launch has cost the studio significant credibility. Average analyst forecasts for 12-month sales dropped from 30 million copies before the release to 25.6 million copies now.
