You're probably reading this title thinking it's overly dramatic — an end of an era is generally denoted by something significant phasing out, coming to a complete halt, or disappearing or ending completely. It's signaled by whatever trend it started burning out, or perhaps it was the last vestige of something unique. Something that would maybe never be seen again. And you know what? Maybe you're right. Maybe the title is too dramatic when talking about the closure of Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia, what will have been the last functional title within the Dissidia series to receive constant character and story updates. But for now, it's the end of the Dissidia series as we know it, and was one of the last moderately free-to-play friend Square Enix mobile games in the Western market.

Kotobukiya revealed another new figure of the Guilty Gear yo-yo toting bounty hunter Bridget, this time featuring her overdrive attack called Return of the Killing Machine. The figure is available to pre-order from the Kotobukiya online store or partnered retailers and is expected to ship between May and June 2024.

The Guilty Gear Strive Bridget with Return of the Killing Machine figure will cost ¥38,500 or $319.99, and she stands at approximately 9.5 inches or 240mm tall. Made of PVC and ABS, Bridget herself strikes a pose while her teddy-bear Roger rides the eponymous killing machine. The figure does not come with any extra replaceable parts.

Square Enix and Applibot shared FFVII Ever Crisis Christmas Tifa and Lucia live wallpapers and gameplay trailers. This is a common way of showing off in-game content even if people aren’t playing the game.

The Lucia Lin wallpaper and gameplay video showed up most recently. Both show her with the new Holiday Revolver weapon and Holiday Coat gear. First, here’s her using the gun’s Rock Blast C. Ability attack.

As for her live wallpaper, it shows her alongside a gift while looking as snow falls outside her window.

There is a new pack of free Beat Saber songs, with players able to access Original Soundtrack 6 (OST 6) now. There are five songs total in it, though one is a “surprise” and unavailable yet.

Here’s the full list of four known songs being added to the game. The developer only noted that the fifth one is “coming soon” and offered no hints as to its identity.

• “Lift Off” by Far Out
• “Power of the Saber Blade” by DragonForce
• “Tempo-Katana” by Camellia

There’s also a trailer for the new, free Beat Saber songs. It only focuses on showing under a minute of the Expert-level difficulty version of the song “Heavy Weight.” It shows some of the note patterns people can expect from that track.

A physical release of the Armored Core 6 soundtrack will be available in March 2024. FromSoftware opened pre-orders for the Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon Original Soundtrack.

The physical album will cost 4,400 yen (~$30). Its pre-orders are also available on Amazon Japan, which supports international shipping for the item.

The digital version of the soundtrack is already available on platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music. People can immediately listen to the game's 47 tracks, which will be split into two discs in the upcoming physical album.

The physical Armored Core 6 soundtrack will contain more exclusive bonuses. The additional third disc will contain 16 arranged tracks from the entire Armored Core series, including the latest entry Fires of Rubicon. The album will include a 48-page Visual Archive book that shows some of the notable AC units, such as "Honest" Brute's Milk Tooth and Raven's Nightfall. It will also have liner notes that include the tracklist, composer comments, and lyrics for songs with vocals.

The Mysterious Submarine

Let’s start with the biggest one. The submarine is easily the most intriguing mystery of Lethal Company right now, as no one can figure out what it does or if it’s even possible to interact with it.

The first official trailer for the Dandadan anime has only been out for a few days, but anime fans have already taken to starting a tried and true discussion. More specifically, they’ve posited whether or not the series will be “the next Chainsaw Man”.

At first glance, it’s a fair discussion to have. After all, both offer a wildly irreverent take on the usual Shonen framework through exaggerated perversion, wild spins on world-ending threats, and less than noble protagonists. Heck, Dandadan‘s creator Yukinobu Tatsu was even an assistant to Tatsuki Fujimoto during the creation and publication of the first part of Chainsaw Man, so surely his breakthrough work takes heavy inspiration from the series he worked on in the past.

Higround announced that it will sell Pokemon keyboards, mousepads, and a jelly bag. The new collection will appear on December 8, 2023, though going to the official site notes someone can get “early access” by joining the email and text newsletters.

The initial announcement noted there are 19 items in the collection. Five of them will be Basecamp 65 keyboards, four will be Performance Basecamp 65 keyboards, four of them will be Summit 65 keyboards, five will be mousepads, and one will be a jelly bag. Some of the early images from the lookbook and announcements showed the Blastoise, Charizard, and Venusaur Summit 65 keyboards.

McDonald’s Japan revealed an image on its official social media account teasing a Happy Meal collaboration with the Sanrio mascot Hello Kitty to celebrate the character's 50th anniversary. It hasn’t been confirmed when this promotion will begin or if it will spread outside of Japan.

We can assume this image is teasing a Hello Kitty promotion due to the classic red bow being present on the number 50. Additionally, a Happy Meal symbol is circled in the top left of the image. So, this event is likely to feature limited Happy Meal toys.

A Paw Patrol image was also teased, suggesting people will have an option of choosing between two types of Happy Meal toys. Since that image appeared on the same day, odds are the two promotions will run at the same time.

The next major Fire Emblem Heroes update adds Book 8 and characters from Awakening on December 7, 2023. There will also be a new Affinity Auto-Battle feature, which will start on December 17, 2023.

The new Fire Emblem Heroes Book 8 story will involve Yggdrasil, the new ally Ratatoskr, and the new enemies Nidhoggr and Hraesvelgr. Ratatoskr appears escaping to warn Alfonse in the opening movie. Meanwhile, Nidhoggr is targeting Veronica, while Hraesvelgr is going after Alfonse.
