Which Ted Lasso Character Are You? Take the Quiz to Find Out

While most might have dismissed Apple TV as a streaming service in an age where the streaming service has been ruled over by big players like Netflix and Hulu, there are tons of gems in Apple’s library that you’ve probably already heard about. Mythic Quest and Dickinson are some of the better-known shows on Apple TV, and you’ve likely heard of the soccer comedy Ted Lasso.

Season 3 has come to a close, offering viewers plenty of closure for every character on the show. Still, even if we might not get to spent anymore time with AFC Richmond, it’s still fun to look back on the cast and think on what about them appeals to us the most. The main cast of characters is incredibly fun and diverse, all packed with unique personalities that complement each other and even serve as foils to one another.

With that in mind, if you’ve ever wondered which character in Ted Lasso you were the most similar to, we’ve put together a short quiz to help you figure that out. This is a spoiler-free personality quiz that helps you determine if you’re more aligned with the brusque Roy Kent, or the confident Rebecca Welton. Let’s get to it!

One DMZ Change in Warzone Season 4 Means There’s a New Best Vest

A significant change to one Warzone DMZ Vest – the Stealth Vest – with June 14’s Season 4 update means there may just be a new best vest in town – one that players should look to get hold of whenever they’re infiltrating or extracting.

The Season 4 update dropped on June 14, changing many aspects of the battle royale. TTK has (finally) been slowed and AI presences reduced.

DMZ, the BR’s extraction mode, also received masses of changes. From a seasonal reset to a new PHALANX Faction, there’s tonnes for players to enjoy. One smaller change, which may have gone under the radar in light of Vondel, the FOB and more, may just shake up the meta massively.

Warzone Season 4 Buffs DMZ Stealth Vest

The Stealth Vest received a significant buff with Season 4, meaning players who have it equipped will no longer have their positions revealed by players with a Comms Vest.

On top of that, players using the Stealth Vest will not trigger a callout from enemy players with a Comms Vest. It more or less multiplies the Stealth Vests effectiveness, ensuring that it does what it says on the tin: keeps your location covert and your movements difficult to track.

The Pokemon Twitter Account Is Teasing… a Team Rocket Clothing Line

At first glance, it seems that the official Pokemon Center Twitter account might be facing a little trouble from a certain crime syndicate. Up to their usual nefarious tricks, this takeover is bringing a Team Rocket clothing line to the Pokemon merchandise shop. The whole line is referred to as the Team Rocket HQ Collection. If you want to casually rep one of anime and gaming’s most notorious gangs, here’s your opportunity.

It all started with a tweeted video that revealed a critical malfunction before showing the vibrant ‘R.’ Up to their expected dirty tactics, it appears they are on some recruitment kick and want to spread their influence. To the credit of this merchandise, there’s no better way to show your true affiliations while playing Pokemon GO in public.

Warzone Season 4 Finally Slows Time-To-Kill and Reduces AI

Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 Season 4, in amongst the new Vondel map and a DMZ reset, is finally addressing long-standing players complaints over time-to-kill (TTK), AI and a ‘rejoin’ feature to ensure disconnections are no longer final.

Warzone 2, now rebranded as just Call of Duty: Warzone, has long faced criticism from its player base over the speed at which players can be eliminated. We’re inclined to agree, believing that it’s a lot harder to enjoy a battle royale where every death feels like a consequence of being spotted, rather than outgunned or outplayed.

A report from Insider Gaming previously claimed that player health will be increased across the board update. The base health is currently 100, with 150 additional health attainable via armor plates. The report claimed that base health will be upped to 150, meaning players’ total health can reach 300. Naturally, that’ll slow the time-to-kill and generally increase the number of shots it takes to down and eliminate an enemy.

It also revealed reductions in AI around Strongholds and a ‘rejoin’ feature to ensure that disconnections from Warzone matches aren’t final. Players should be able to select ‘Rejoin’ from their lobby screen and be put back in the match they just left.

Those changes, alongside much, much more, have now been confirmed in June 14’s Season 4 Patch Notes.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Review – Going Above and Beyond

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Switch

Few games have left a mark as profound as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild did in 2017. Its sprawling open world and innovative gameplay marked a new era for the series and became an influence for countless other games. Creating a follow up to this masterpiece was always going to be a tall order for Nintendo—how do you significantly improve upon a game that redefined the conventions of Zelda in such a way that it became one of the highest rated titles of all time, setting a new standard for the franchise?

Somehow, Tears of the Kingdom manages to do that. The game takes us on a second journey through this iteration of Hyrule, successfully building upon the strong foundation laid by Breath of the Wild. With new abilities, a captivating storyline, and immersive gameplay, Tears of the Kingdom surpasses its iconic predecessor in many ways, even somewhat rendering the first game obsolete along the way.

One of the defining features of Tears of the Kingdom is the introduction of a new set of abilities for our protagonist, Link. Ultrahand, Fuse, Recall, and Ascend breathe new life into the game, providing players with seemingly unlimited creative options for navigation and exploration of Hyrule.

Marvel Snap’s Most Hated Card Finally Gets Nerfed, While Dazzler Becomes Slightly Less Trash

First there was Magik. Then there was Negative. After that, we had Leader and Leech, followed by Aero. And for a spell there, Thanos and Shuri also took the spotlight. Throughout all of this, though, Galactus has somehow remained untouched since the introduction of the Token Shop, and that archetype has been so polarizing among the Marvel Snap player base that Second Dinner has finally decided to do something about it.

In this week’s major patch, we’re getting Conquest Mode, Weekend Missions, along with a few store updates. We’re also getting big balance changes to Galactus, who’s finally getting a much-needed nerf to circumvent the polarizing and, honestly, emotionally damaging play style of destroying all other locations to force you into a single lane.

Here are the changes:

Ghost Trick Hands-on Preview – Back From the Grave & Better Than Ever

Even among the strange and winding history of Capcom, few titles stand out the way Ghost Trick does.

Helmed by Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi, the title made the quirky adventures of his oddball lawyers seem tame in comparison. Its tale of an amnesiac ghost attempting to save those around him, and change their fate through various time travelling shenanigans, was about as novel of a premise as one could hope to find on any gaming platform period. This is to say nothing of the puzzles, which could be genuinely tricky to figure out and fun to overcome using the Nintendo DS-specific mechanics.

Like many titles from its era though, Ghost Trick was a one and done affair. It had its time in the spotlight and never received a sequel, fading from the memory of all but those who played and enjoyed it. This would have remained the case if not for an upcoming HD re-release, and after spending some time with its first few levels via a demo, I can safely say this supernatural puzzler is back and better than ever.

Icy Meat Makes Shield Surfing Frictionless Fun in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Trick

11 months 2 weeks ago

One of the most acclaimed aspects of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been the creativity and innovation allowed by the new Fusing mechanic. It’s made certain aspects of the game much easier – and it’s just done the same for Zelda’s fan favorite shield surfing mechanic.

We’ve already seen how it can make reaching Hyrule’s skies incredibly simple and, on June 1, one Redditor shared their Tears of the Kingdom trick to make shield surfing a frictionless breeze.

“Did you know that you can attach Icy Meat to your shield?” they asked. “Only works with normal and prime meat. Shield surfing basically has no friction now.”

Attached was a video showing the icy-meat-shield in action as a surfing device, with speed and duration increased thanks to the lack of friction and surprising durability of the created item.

Meta Quest 2 & Quest Pro Get Major Performance Enhancements & Price Drops

11 months 2 weeks ago

Meta’s current generation of VR headsets, the Quest 2 and Quest Pro are receiving a significant boost in performance out of only a software update, allowing developers to do more with the VR devices.

With the announcement of the Meta Quest 3 came the additional footnote that the Quest 2 models will not only be receiving drops in their prices, but that they will getting maintained through software updates alongside the Quest Pro. The Quest 2 will cost $299.99 for the 128 GB model and $349.99 for the 256 GB model, starting June 4.

Meta also announced that both the Quest 2 and Quest 2 Pro are going to receive a software update that will greatly improve processing speeds. They claim that both headsets will receive a boost in CPU performance of up to 26%, and in terms of GPU performance, the Quest 2 will get a 19% increase and the Quest Pro will get an 11% increase.

These improvements will go hand-in-hand with the enabling of Dynamic Resolution Scaling, all serving the goal of giving developers more breathing room in what the devices are capable of. Meta is claiming that these improvements will allow for smoother graphics and textures and a more responsive UI, which are always more than welcome.

Both the reductions in price and the performance enhancements should open the door for more players and more developers to enter into the realm of VR. Those who might not be able to swing the $499.99 for the Quest 3 when it comes out will now have a much more accessible option, and they can take comfort in the fact that they can still get updates that improve their experience.

Meta Quest 3 To Release Fall 2023 With Improved Performance & Redesigned Hardware

11 months 2 weeks ago

The Quest 3 VR headset has just been officially announced by Meta, and with that comes a new look at its release date, price and specifications.

Consumers will now get to see some of the improvements over the previous Quest 2, Meta’s latest entry into the virtual reality space. The new headset will be coming in fall 2023 and will be releasing with a price tag of $499.99.

The new headset will come with 128 GB of storage and will be using a next-gen Snapdragon chip that Meta claims will allow the Quest 3 to be twice as powerful as the previous Meta Quest 2. The Quest 3 will also be utilizing this more powerful chip for its improved augmented reality features that allow for high-fidelity colors and accurate spatial awareness, which should make the experience clearer than ever before.

The hardware of the headset is also going to be seeing some upgrades. The physical body will be 40% slimmer than the previous Meta Quest 2, aiming for more comfort and mobility while playing. The controllers are getting a redesign with the omission of the tracking rings around your hands and the addition of improved haptics, which should provide a more immersive experience than the previous controllers.

EA Quietly Increase FIFA 23 FIFA Point Prices Ahead of EA Sports FC Transition

11 months 2 weeks ago

FIFA 23 developers EA have quietly implemented a widespread FIFA Point price increase ahead of the transition to EA Sports FC. The changes were first noticed on June 1, rolling out to players on all platforms on that date. While most players are now seeing the changes in-game, EA have not commented publicly on the changes. Needless to say, they’re not popular with players.

FIFA Points have long been a contentious topic in the FIFA series. They allow players to convert real-life money into Points that can be used to buy in-game packs or cosmetics. There is no way for players to legitimately buy coins in Ultimate Team, with such practices banned and strictly policed by EA.

For a long time, FIFA Point prices have remained the same – with the only real variance in them a result of currency fluctuations. However, widespread increases to the in-game currency were implemented on June 1, seeing the cost of FIFA Point packages in certain currencies in FIFA 23 increase.

The changes are believed to be part of a wider EA move to adjust in-game currency costs to reflect real life currency conditions. For example, GBP prices in Apex Legends have also been increased. Other currencies, like EUR and USD, have not been changed across EA titles. It’s not entirely clear which currencies have been affected, with EA still fairly quiet on the matter.

It’s probably best to check your store on any EA title you play to see if your local currency has been affected.

Warzone 2 DMZ Players Blast “Stupid” Mode Reset Confirmed for Season 4

11 months 2 weeks ago

Warzone 2 DMZ players have again criticized the mode’s upcoming reset, due to arrive with Season 4 on June 14.

On May 31, Infinity Ward revealed a series of changes coming to DMZ with Season 4. Among new missions and yet-to-be-announced content, it confirmed that a mode reset will drop, similar to the one players experienced with Season 2. It’ll reset contraband, key, and mission inventories as well as Insured Weapon Slots.

While it’s a fairly established approach, especially in extraction shooters (see Escape From Tarkov ‘wipes’), it doesn’t appear to have gone down well with CoD’s player base, many of whom consider it reversing the progress they’ve made by playing DMZ.

It’s certainly a new mechanic for Call of Duty, with players used to new seasons simply building on their previous progress, rather than resetting aspects of their profiles.

Among the most prominent critics was YouTuber Mr Dalek, who tweeted: “IW have just announced that EVERYTHING is getting reset in DMZ with Season 4”, alongside a meme of Captain America saying “Damn it not again.”

Tears of the Kingdom’s Listed Weapon Damage Is Fake, Fans Claim

11 months 2 weeks ago

Out of all the weapons in Tears of the Kingdom, many players believe the spear is one of the most OP tools in the game, given its unmatched strength. However, several Reddit users have claimed that it’s actually the least potent item according to its damage modifiers.

Reddit user fallen_corpse goes in-depth about this tool, explaining the inaccurate weapon stats. For example, although the spear is listed at 35 damage with 25 HP Bokoblin, its modifiers suggest a 25 percent weaker attack.

Based on the player’s tests, light weapons initiate a 1.00 damage modifier, and heavy ones have a slight advantage of 1.05, which is five percent stronger than what was listed. Last but not least, spears showcase the weakest results with .75 stats.

Overwatch 2 Reveals the Identities of Two More LGBTQ+ Characters Ahead of June’s Pride Event

11 months 2 weeks ago

Overwatch 2 is ready to launch the first-ever Pride event in the game, starting June 1, 2023. This is no surprise to many, as Overwatch 2 has always aimed to hold a diverse and inclusive cast of Heroes that many people worldwide can relate to and identify with. However, after revealing the sexualities of two more characters in preparation for Overwatch 2’s Pride event and celebration, many more fans have found themselves pleasantly surprised.

As it turns out, these two characters are none other than Pharah (lesbian) and Baptiste (bisexual), making them both the most recently-confirmed members of the LGBTQ+ Overwatch 2 roster, joining Tracer, Lifeweaver, and Soldier: 76 proudly. The Overwatch 2 team has released a new short story, ‘As You Are,’ focusing on Pharah, Baptiste, and their identities.

While Pharah and Baptise are, without a doubt, a welcome addition to Overwatch 2’s LGBTQ+ roster, some players may be less surprised than others to see this announcement. This is because some subtle hints have previously been given about both of these heroes.

Firstly, Blizzard themselves stated in the announcement that Pharah has always been speculated by the fanbase to be an LGBTQ+ character, primarily due to the popularity of the fictional ‘Pharmercy’ ship (Pharah + Mercy). Baptiste has also recently had some intrigue from fans directed to his sexuality due to some flirty voice lines he shares with Season 4’s latest support addition, Lifeweaver.

Naughty Dog Discusses Last of Us Multiplayer Roadmap After a No-Show at PlayStation Showcase

Genius Zelda: TOTK Trick Makes Reaching Hyrule’s Skies A Piece of Cake

11 months 3 weeks ago

Since Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launched – and thanks to awesome new mechanics like fusing – players have been sharing their wild and wicked creations from the acclaimed Nintendo title.

We’ve seen one rather sadistic creation in the form of a medieval torture device for annoying Koroks, while a more epic creation saw one player create a flying war machine straight out of Apocalypse Now.

This particular trick, shared to TOTK’s subreddit on May 25, is certainly more practical and, to readers’ delight, incredibly simple to recreate.

The player, theshmalex, shared their trick to instantly find a platform to ascend by virtue of connecting an arrow with a hover stone. They simply fired it straight up into the sky and, upon reaching the end of its trajectory, the arrow fell away and left the hover stone suspended. It’s then in the perfect position for a timely ascend, moving under it and travelling up into the sky without issue.

OP described it as “super convenient”, which is probably an understatement given how much TOTK requires players to ascend into the sky.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Review – So Far From Precious

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum on PS5

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was a big surprise to fans when it was revealed a few years ago. It seemed like something that no one was asking for, but it still provided a decent concept. As a game based on the unknown movements of Gollum from The Hobbit until Fellowship of the Ring. this should’ve been something that might have broad appeal from the casual viewer to the most fervent Lord of the Rings fan. As it turns out, the game itself feels like it wouldn’t (and shouldn’t) appeal to anyone, ever.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Gameplay Reveals Kraven and Symbiote Suit

11 months 3 weeks ago

While things have been quiet for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, that has all changed during the PlayStation Showcase. The game arrived to tailgate the showcase with a fun chunk of gameplay. The last time we saw the game, it was revealed that Venom (played by Tony Todd) would play a role. However, it’s far more than that. The gameplay kicks off with Kraven the Hunter looking for new hunts before being pointed to New York City.

Six months after the Kraven scene, his goons have invaded the city, hunting down high-profile targets, starting with the Lizard. Spider-Man won’t let them get away with that, and he bursts out of the cellar Kraven’s henchmen are surrounding. Not just any Spider-Man, though, as Peter is wearing the black symbiote suit.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Vows an October Release

11 months 3 weeks ago

The PlayStation Showcase continues to drop huge reveals with the appearance of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage. This adventure of Assassins Creed Valhalla character Basim will give fans plenty of his backstory. Not only that, but we got a release date this time after much recent speculation. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be taking to the air for an Oct. 12 landing.

The trailer even revealed some of the tools at Basim’s disposal. The most useful of these looks like a red smoke bomb that will let him clear out quickly when the guards start closing in. While in the reveal, it looks like he just about teleports after using it, it probably won’t actually work that way.

With how RPG and loot game-focused the recent games have been since Origins, it almost seems like Ubisoft is moving backward from that for this release. However, it also stands to reason that as this is a spin-off and not part of the mainline, it has different rules. Still, Basim is an interesting pick for a solo game.

The footage is narrated by the legendary Shohreh Aghdashloo (The Lake House, Renfield), who lends heavy gravitas to the atmosphere of the trailer. The return to a middle eastern setting with Mirage will surely evoke plenty of memories of the first Assassin’s Creed.

Konami’s Worst Kept Secret is True: Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Remake is Coming to PS5

11 months 3 weeks ago

After years of hushed whispers, the cat is out of the bag: Konami is indeed bringing Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater to the next generation.

With reports from VGC on the project’s existence circulating as early as October 2021, it only seemed a matter of time until the word was made official. As part of May’s PlayStation Showcase 2023, we caught a quick glimpse of this reimagining of a PS2 classic.

Set in the lush undergrowth of the Soviet Union, we see a brief yet intense sampling of the food chain before Naked Snake emerges from the muck, looking 90% badass and 10% displeased that he’s ruined his favorite jumpsuit.

A PlayStation-appropriate triangle appears in the sky, and the title card confirms that tactical espionage action is indeed coming to PS5. It is worth noting, this triangle in the name likely indicates that this game will be known as Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Despite the moniker, however, not a single snake was eaten.

Working off what the trailer revealed, it seems like several teams will all hit a single target simultaneously. Judging by a character cutting into a fence, it’s possible there will be several points of entry to choose between.

Not only the fence but another character on the same team uses a truck to get past guards. It seems there won’t be any direct need to stay right with your teammates. If the trailer is indicative, the game will feature teams of three, so nine players will compete at once.

Players won’t only be heisting money and valuables, either. The trailer alludes to there being heists related to hard drives and information, so there will certainly be some corporate espionage. It isn’t said, but Fairgame$ certainly looks like something that would fit with a free-to-play model.

There’s no information on when we will see more, but it might be worth keeping an eye on. The trailer also didn’t include any sort of release date, but it will be coming to PS5 and PC sometime in the future.

Supermassive Games Confirms Long-Awaited Collab With Dead by Daylight

11 months 4 weeks ago

Dead by Daylight has been knocking it out of the park with these recent announcements; first it was confirmed that they’re having a film adaptation in development with Blumhouse and Atomic Monster, and just a few days ago they shared a teaser of the next survivor coming to the game, which is none other than Nicolas Cage. It’s something that no one was expecting, I mean, we’ve been asking for Sidney Prescott from Scream for years, but sure, I guess I wouldn’t mind playing as Cage instead.

Aside from Sidney, fans have been begging the devs to bring characters from Until Dawn as survivors, most specifically Sam and Emily. It seems the two have been listening to the community as Supermassive Games and Behaviour Interactive recently made an announcement video, along with their subtle tweet directly to Dead by Daylight that confirms they will finally be working together on a collab.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Version 1.1.1 Update Fixes a Handful of Pesky Bugs

11 months 4 weeks ago

After the success of its first-week launch, Tears of the Kingdom has received an update that improves the gameplay experience even further.

In particular, issues with the Closed Door main quest have been addressed, which previously prohibited players from clearing it despite meeting the objective requirements. Those who have already encountered this problem can download the update to get back to clearing the mission.

Although it isn’t explicitly clear what other bugs have been fixed, the Nintendo Support page states, “Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.” Therefore, fans may notice improvements with Tears of the Kingdom if they encountered any bugs in the past.

Many players on Reddit were concerned that the update would eliminate the handy duplication glitch that can boost up your inventory by a considerable amount.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Makes Me Feel Like Both a Genius & An Idiot

11 months 4 weeks ago

The Legend of Zelda series is one that I’ve always associated with its puzzles and challenges which always give me just the right amount of challenge. Tears of the Kingdom is no different, with Shrines and Temples reactivating that problem-solving area of my brain. While those puzzles are a huge part of the game, Tears of the Kingdom manages to challenge me in ways completely different than what I expected.

Tears of the Kingdom is a large game. It’s not only large, but complex on top of that, and there’s a lot to try to remember. While learning games isn’t something I’ve necessarily struggled with in the past, this is an entirely different beast for me to tame, especially because I really never played much of Breath of the Wild. I’ve lost count of the number of simple things that I’ve completely overlooked while even just navigating Hyrule, but I’ve done my best to document some of the most common and funny ones.

Lego 2K Drive Review – Dream Car Creator

11 months 4 weeks ago

Lego 2K Drive on PS5

Despite the flexibility of the Lego brand, to date, it has really only been used for media adaptations. There are a few original game concepts in there, but it never feels enough. I played Lego Racers for the N64 in 1999, and I remember loving it as the bricky cars and the fun power-ups made racing enjoyable. I was excited about a new Lego racing game, and the open-world aspect was interesting. While any Lego game is certainly geared toward kids, there is something here for all ages.

Lego 2K Drive starts the player being trained by the great Clutch Racington to take on the fearsome Shadow Z in the Sky Cup Grand Prix. After the tutorial, progression is mostly through getting first place in races against unique rivals to earn checkered flags. However, there are stints in between when you have to raise your level to continue to the next class (C to B to A), where it feels like the game stalls.
