Yakuza Creator Toshihiro Nagoshi Talks About the Popular Series, His Career, & Sega’s Future

Today Sega released a video interview with Toshihiro Nagoshi, know as the creator of the Yakuza series.

During the interview, Nagoshi-san goes in-depth into a variety of topics, including his long career in the gaming industry and the Yakuza series itself.

We also hear his insight on Sega and its future, which is rather relevant considering that besides his role on Yakuza, he’s also the publisher’s chief creative officer, with a say in pretty much every game the company creates.

If you’re interested in the Yakuza series, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is now available in the west for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox One Series S/X, and PC via Steam. The PS5 version will release later, on March 2, 2021.
