Vampyr’s technical performance wasn’t its best attribute when it was first released, and the improvements should make a massive difference to the smoothness of its gameplay and the overall visual fidelity. Here’s the full overview of resolution/performance improvements by platform:
Enhanced Graphics Update:
- PS5: 1440p / 60 FPS
- PS4 Pro: 1440p / 30FPS
- XSX: 1440p / 60 FPS
- XSS: 1440p / 30FPS
- Xbox One X: 1296p 30 FPS
Twinfinite reviewed Vampyr following its original launch and was really impressed, scoring the game 4/5 and concluding:
“Ultimately, the sum of Vampyr’s emphasis on story, combat, and progression combine to produce a video gaming experience that will appeal to those outside the RPG and adventure genres that it seeks to combine.”
Now, how about that sequel, Dontnod!
