A few days ago, Sega released update 1.01 for Sakura Wars in Japan. Today Sega confirmed that the update is going to apply to the western release.

This means, among other things, that western players won’t have ti suffer through the lack of a target lock-on feature, which was for many the one major flaw of the Japanese release.

Below you can check out the tweet listing the update’s features.

Sakura Wars is already available in Japan and it will launch in the west on April 28, 2020, exclusively for PS4.
