If you can’t get enough of the popular “Poke-Lid” enameled manhole designs, you’ll be excited to know that there are eight more designs that have just been unveiled in Hokkaido, Japan’s northern island.

This time, each of these eight new Poke-Lid designs feature Vulpix along with several other Pokemon friends. Here are all of the Pokemon you’ll see in this latest batch of manholes:

  • Alolan Vulpix with two Eiscue and a Cubchoo
  • Alolan Vulpix riding on a Decidueye
  • Alolan Vulpix and Kantonian Vulpix with two Mudbray
  • Alolan Vulpix with Weavile
  • Alolan Vulpix with Hatenna and Vanillite
  • Alolan Vulpix with Dialga
  • Kantonian Vulpix with Palkia
  • Alolan Vulpix with dusk form Lycanroc

These eight Poke-Lids will be installed in Asahikawa,Kushiro, Obihiro, Abashiri, Akaigawa, Higashikawa, Shari, and Erimo, respectively. The manholes will also serve as PokeStop locations in the game Pokemon GO.

Vulpix, especially its Alolan form which lives in snow-covered mountains, is associated with Hokkaido because it is the snowiest region of Japan.

The addition of these eight new Poke-Lids brings the total of Pokemon-themed manholes in Japan to 217. They’re spread across 22 prefectures in the country, which promotes tourism in these locations as the designs are beautiful and are often quite recognizable

For anyone who hasn’t seen any previous Poke-Lid designs, you can view some of the others from earlier this year, such as designs featuring flying-type Pokemondesigns featuring steel- and electric-type Pokemon and designs featuring water-type Pokemon. You may also be interested in how these beautiful manholes are made, which you can learn about right here.
