Warner Bros. Pictures has just released the second major trailer for the upcoming Dune movie. The original film came out back in the ’70s and this one will hit theatres and on HBO Max on Oct. 22. Both movies are adaptations of the Dune sci-fi novel from 1965, written by Frank Herbert.
Warner Bros. Pictures is building hype for the 2021 adaptation ahead of its release later this year, and this trailer seems to be getting the job done in that regard. It shows off a few of the movie’s action-packed scenes, serious moments, and a ton of its star power.
Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, and Dave Bautista make appearances here, and that’s just to name a few of the actors featured. The film is being directed by Denis Villeneuve, who is known for his recent work on Arrival and Blade Runner 2049.
