Microsoft Flight Simulator CRJ Add-On Gets New Approach Screenshots, Checklists, & Charts Aplenty

3 years 4 months ago

With the upcoming Bombardier CRJ add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator coming soon, Aerosoft is showcasing more about the aircraft package.

First of all, we get two more screenshots showcasing the approach phase from outside and from the cockpit.

You can check both out below.

Last, but not certainly not least, we get to see the draft of volume 2 of the manual (which will include five volumes).

You’ll have to log into the Aerosoft forums to download it, but it may very well be worth the effort, as it includes the Quick Reference Guide with all the checklists and plenty of interesting charts.

At the moment, the release date of the CRJ Package (which will initially include CRJ 550 and 700 and then expand with the 900 and 1000 versions) is still unknown, with “hopes” (but no promises) that it’ll come before the end of the year. At the moment, Aerosoft is waiting for Asobo to fix a few remaining issues before they can commit to a launch date.

If you want to learn more about the game, you can read our review that will tell you everything you need to know about Asobo Studio’s game.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is already available for Windows 10 and Steam and will release in summer 2021 for Xbox Series X ad Series S.

Earlier today we learned that over two million players have installed Microsoft Flight Simulator so far on their PCs and that the new update on Dec. 22 will bring virtual reality support to the table, alongside dynamic snow, ice, and more.

You can also check out our guide wiki that includes more information to help you get started in the game.
