Microsoft Flight Simulator Chicago Midway & Mexico City Airports Announced; F-16, Beaver, & Nanki-Shirahama Get New WIP Screenshots

2 years 9 months ago

The weekend doesn’t matter in Microsoft Flight Simulator, as third-party developers never stop providing news and releases of add-ons for the popular sim.

We start with Drzewiecki Design, who announced Chicago Midway International Airport (KMDW) with a series of images. While the airport’s name was not explicitly mentioned, the tower and the cityscape are pretty much unmistakable.

Incidentally, Drzewiecki Design also released a package for the city itself, so expanding to one of its airports certainly makes sense.

You can find the new images below.

Next is FlyMex, which is going big with Mexico City International Airport (MMMX).

As the busiest airport in the country and in Latin America as a whole, it’s certainly an addition to the sim with great potential.

The announcement was made with a trailer, which you can see below.

We then get to see a single work-in-progress screenshot for  SC Designs‘ F-16C Fighting Falcon, which saw progress in the cockpit.

More screenshots come from Military Visualizations showing the WIP interior night lighting of their de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver.
