Third-party developers continue to provide news and assets about upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, including two relevant freeware aircraft.

We start with Drzewiecki Design, which showcased a brand new work-in-progress look at the terminal of Chicago Midway International Airport (KMDW) in the United States.

Moving on to aircraft, Digital Flight Dynamics provided a WIP look at the textures and decals of the flight deck of its Airbus A350-1000, which will be freeware and open-soruce.

If you’d like to follow the project, you can find the developers on their own Discord server.

Speaking of freeware and open-source, No Limit Simulations (NLS) provided more renders of its upcoming Airbus A340-600.

Here’s a list of the recent progress.

  • Added new pedestal in the cockpit for a better visual experience, this including:
    • New switches and knobs.
    • Whole new base pedestal model.
    • New MCDU and Throttle Levers.
  • New engines with improved details:
    • New Reverses that are more accurate to the real ones.
  • New pedals added to the cockpit, more accurate and better detailed.
  • EFB added to the model with an older looking case.
