Microsoft Flight Simulator Bombardier CRJ Add-On Shows Displays in Action in New Video

Many fans of Microsoft Flight Simulator are eagerly awaiting the release of Aerosoft’s Bombardier CRJ add-on, which will bring the first advanced regional jet to the sim.

Today a special thread was shared from the beta test of the aircraft in the form of a first look at its working EFIS PFD and MFD displays.

They look really smooth, and honestly, I can’t wait to spend hours looking at them on my own PC.

On top of the displays, we also get a small sample of what the aircraft sounds like, which is awesome.

At the moment, the release date of the CRJ Package (which will initially include CRJ 550 and 700 and then expand with the 900 and 1000 versions) is still unknown, with “hopes” (but no promises) that it’ll come before the end of the year. At the moment, Aerosoft is waiting for Asobo to fix a few remaining issues before they can commit to a launch date.

If you want to learn more about the game, you can read our review that will tell you everything you need to know about Asobo Studio’s game.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is already available for Windows 10 and Steam and will release in summer 2021 for Xbox Series X ad Series S.

Earlier today we learned that over two million players have installed Microsoft Flight Simulator so far on their PCs and that the new update on Dec. 22 will bring virtual reality support to the table, alongside dynamic snow, ice, and more.
