Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Is Getting an Expansion Pass

3 years 2 months ago

During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will be getting some new content in the form of an expansion pass.

Specifically, there are two waves of DLC packs to look forward to.

The first wave of the expansion pass will be released in June. It will feature an expanded roster of characters, newly added weapon types, new challenges in the Royal Ancient Lab, and newly added challenging enemies.

In November, the second wave of the expansion pass will be released. New character vignettes will be included in this pass, as well as newly added stages and an expanded roster. New battle skills for existing characters will also be added.

A purchase bonus for this Age of Calamity expansion pass will become available on May 28. It will include a newly added weapon and costume for Link as a perk for buying the expansion pass early.

There is not yet word for which characters the expanded rosters will include, so hopefully they will share more information soon.

The expansion pass will cost $19.99 and will include both waves. It will be for sale on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
