Unlocking Dream Castle is one of the first big missions you’ll need to complete in Disney Dreamlight Valley. At the beginning of the game, Merlin will assign you to this task after you check out your house and gather all the Royal Tools. However, to enter the building, you must collect two thousand Dreamlight to get rid of the Night Thorns.

During this time, you can check your Dreamlight Duties on the menu or interact with the Wishing Well at the Plaza to see what type of missions you can do. Additionally, you can view how much you currently have by looking at the top of the menu:
