One of the challenge tasks that can pop up while you’re trying to expand the Wildlands in Ooblets requires you to get Mamoonia Ooblets. However, the game isn’t exactly very forthcoming about how exactly you can do that. That’s where we come in. Here’s what you need to know.
Getting Mamoonia Ooblets in Ooblets
If you have no idea what Mamoonia Ooblets are, it’s probably because you’re still pretty early in the game, and you haven’t even unlocked the new Mamoonia region yet. Here’s how you can unlock it:
- Complete the tutorial to unlock Mayor Tinstle’s tasks.
- Complete three Tinstle tasks, and you’ll get a new task to repair the Oobnet tower.
- Head into the Oobnet tower in the northwest side of town, and beat the dance battle.
- Head to the west side of town to start the Tinstle task to repair Gimble’s hot air balloon.
The materials you need are: one Oobsidian, 20 Planklets, 8 Clothlets, and 12 Nurnies.
- Wait a day after submitting the materials, then talk to Gimblo to board the hot air balloon.
- Select Mamoonia to travel to the new desert region.
Once in Mamoonia, your main task will be to activate the Oobnet tower there as well, but you can also get new Ooblets along the way. Just like in Badgetown, the only way to get them is by challenging them to a dance battle and winning.
Make sure to pick up some new seeds along the way, as you’ll need them to trigger the dance battles. Once you have a couple of Mamoonia Ooblets, you can then use them to complete your challenge tasks for the Wildlands.
