Kaedehara Kazuha Story Quest
One of the first things to be revealed in the Livestream is Kazuha’s new Story Quest: Acer Palmatum Chapter: Act 1. Although this mission’s details are still vague, we did get a few screenshots of the character during this event. One, in particular, displays Kazuha gazing at a mysterious purple sword, while another exhibits him dueling against an opponent.
Fans also got a chance to see a sneak peek of the samurai forging a weapon with a mystical hammer. Longtime players know that Kazuha is from a family of swordsmiths and was once part of the Raiden Gokaden clan, a renowned swordsmith group in Inazuma. So, now that we see him making a weapon in this update, could he be reigniting his forging abilities?
The New Character: Shikanoin Heizou
After many leaks and rumors, Shikanoin Heizou will finally arrive in Genshin Impact Version 2.8. This Tenryou detective is widely known throughout Inazuma due to his reputation for capturing criminal masterminds. On top of that, he is the game’s first melee catalyst user, in which he uses his Anemo powers without any weapons on hand.
The Version 2.8 Special Program revealed Heizou’s abilities, including his normal attack, charged techniques, and elemental skills. For example, Heizou’s Normal Attack, Fudou Style Martial Arts, allows players to perform fisticuffs using the wind’s force to defeat the most formidable enemies. The next technique is his Elemental Skill, Heartstopper Strike, where users can unleash a mighty blow and obtain the Declension effect to increase its powers.
One of the Anemo-wielder’s valuable quirks is his Elemental Burst of Windmuster Kick, which causes the character to jump into the air and use his Fudou Style Vacuum Slugger. Once this action is initiated, it will explode on impact, damaging nearby opponents. Furthermore, when foes are affected by Hydro, Pyro, Cyro, or Electro, it causes a delayed follow-up explosion.
If you have this character on your team, his Exploration Talent, Pre-Existing Guilt, decreases sprinting stamina usage for all members. With this technique, players can move around the island of the Summer Fantasia event without worrying about slowing down.
You can claim Shikanoin Heizou through his Event Wish in Phase One, which also includes Kazuha, Klee, and Yoimiya in the future. The detective will also appear in the Event Wishes, such as Leaves in the Wind and Sparkling Steps, where players can gain a substantial drop-rate boost.
Lastly, the character will have a Hangout Event, Act 1: Trap ‘Em by Storm, allowing Travelers to be a detective for the day, as shown here:
