Drawful 2 is Free on Steam For the Next Three Weeks

If you and your family are stuck at home because of the coronavirus —or any other reason, for that matter— you are going to want something to pass the time. While you could always play some video games alone or binge your Netflix backlog, the team at Jackbox Games invite you to try one of their more hilarious titles, completely free of charge.

Starting today, Drawful 2 is free on Steam. If you have never heard of the title, it is a party game where you use your smartphone or tablet to show off your drawing skills (or lack thereof), and your friends and family have to guess what you just sketched. Sort of.

Instead of players winning points by correctly guessing your creation as with Pictionary, they need to trick everyone else into thinking their description is correct. Is that picture you drew of a man whispering into someone’s ear supposed to represent secrets or an elf giving bad advice? It doesn’t matter because the person who receives the most votes gets the points, whether or not they’re correct.

Now, Drawful 2 comes with two important caveats: it is English only and is intended for local multiplayer. However, if you set up a Steam Remote Play, you can enjoy the game with friends and family no matter where they are.

Better yet, you don’t need a powerful computer to play Drawful 2. If you have at least a 2 Ghz dual core processor CPU, 512 MB of RAM, and 500 MB disk space, you can run Drawful 2.

Drawful 2 is free until April 11th, but if you add the game to your account before then, it is yours to keep.
