Dragon Ball FighterZ Getting New Update in August

2 years 10 months ago

Today Bandai Namco announced that the popular fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting a new update soon.

According to producer Tomoko Hiroki, the update is coming in the middle of August.

It’ll include character balance adjustments and change to combat “to allow for more dynamic attack and defense,” including changes to aerial guard cancel.

Hiroki-san also confirmed once more that it’s “currently difficult” to improve the netcode of the game, so if you were hoping for the implementation of Rollback Netcode, that’s probably not going to happen any time soon.

Hiroki-san also announced a new wave of tournaments with the qualifying rounds starting in September.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.  We know that it has sold over 6 million copies as of December 2020.
