Square Enix and the Balan Company announced its brand-new title during the Summer Game Fest pre-show ahead of the big Xbox Games Showcase this afternoon. Balan Wonderworld is a new 3D platformer (only announced for Xbox One and Series X so far) and it is the first title to come from Balan Company.
Balan Company mixes together the talents of famed video game developers, artists, and composers to create a magical and spectacular world filled with quirky characters and lots of costumes to try on.
Yuji Naka and Naoto Oshima, co-creators of Sonic the Hedgehog, are working on this project together and both of them have been very excited to show this project off.

Balan Wonderworld will launch sometime in the spring of 2021, taking advantage of Xbox’s Smart Delivery feature. Other platforms have yet to be announced, but it’s coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X so far.
Here’s a quick synopsis of the game:
Twelve different tales await players in the bizarre and imaginary land of Wonderworld. As the star of the show you can use powers from 80 different costumes while exploring labyrinth stages, filled with a myriad of tricks and traps to get to the heart of each story. As you journey through this land between fantasy and reality, you must find a way to bring balance to others and yourself.
