Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Now Launches With Xbox Series X on Nov. 10

Ubisoft’s anticipated open-world action-RPG Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is now launching a week earlier than originally planned on Nov. 10. The release date has presumably been brought forward to coincide with the arrival of Microsoft’s next-generation hardware, which was confirmed this week to launch on the same date.

As you can see in the image, Valhalla will also be available on current generation hardware, PC, and Google Stadia on the same date.

The next chapter in Ubisoft’s beloved series is set to take players to the frigid shores of Norway and Britain during the Viking Age, with both a male and female Viking protagonist as playable options. It continues the role-playing design first introduced in Origins.

The game was revealed earlier with a cinematic trailer before a 30-minute gameplay presentation last July offered our first proper look at how it plays.

More recently, a new trailer showcased some of the game’s mythical enemies, confirming that it’s set to incorporate fantasy elements in addition to the typical alternate history themes.
