Mobility is everything in a game with a massive map like Fortnite. In the transition from Chapter 3 Season 2 into Season 3, the map lost both tanks and helicopters. While not the biggest change, the loss of two vehicles has a definite effect. However, there might be a new vehicle incoming this season. All signs point to yes. According to a tweet from HYPEX on Twitter, Motorbikes will be coming to Fortnite. The tweet says that “Epic began working on motorcycles recently which use the same animations as riding animals. It has 2 seats + you can boost & drift.”
Something more agile than the usual car or last season’s tanks would make a big difference in the Battle Royale when it comes to getting across the map. The two seats would be a massive bonus to have in Duos when presumably the rear passenger can fire from the back of the Motorbike. It would be similar to how the separate seats worked in the helicopter.
The fact that the tweet does say that Epic began working on the motorbikes “recently” seems to suggest that it might be a bit until players actually see the Motorbike added into the game.
