Animal Crossing: New Horizons Returns to the Top of the Sales Chart in the UK

It’s the end of a week, so it’s time to take a look at the GfK chart related to physical sales in the UK. This time around, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is back on top.

According to Gamesindustry‘s report of the chart, Nintendo’s cutesy game beats FIFA 20 back to the top with a 53% increase in sale week-over-week.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare completes the top-three followed by Ring Fit Adventure, which is obviously rather suitable for times of quarantine. Its sales increased by 95% week-over-week.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake dropped down to the eighth place with its sales declining by 50% week-over-week, while Trials of Mana didn’t quite make the top-10, ranking 16th with 61% of sales on the Switch and 39% on PS4. Do keep in mind that GFK only tracks physical sales, so PC copies aren’t counted.

Below you can take a look at the top-10 chart. If you’re interested in Animal Crossing: New Horizon, it’s available exclusively for Nintendo Switch and you can check out our review.
