Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Continues Anniversary Celebration With New Experimental Aircraft DLC

3 years 1 month ago

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has become the most successful game of the series, and Bandai Namco doesn’t seem to intend to slow down with its support.

Today the publisher announced another paid DLC to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary, focusing on experimental aircraft.

It’ll come at some point this spring (with its price being still unannounced) and it’ll include the  F-15 STOL/MTD, the F-16XL, and the FB-22 Strike Raptor.

The package will also include a set of emblems and skins reproducing those of enemy pilots and units from the series.

You can enjoy a trailer and a gallery of screenshots below.

If you’d like to know in detail why  Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is so good,  you can read my full review. You can also read an official description below.

“Become an ace pilot and soar through photorealistic skies with full 360 degree movement; down enemy aircraft and experience the thrill of engaging in realistic sorties! Aerial combat has never looked or felt better!

Project Aces aims to revolutionize the sky with this entry in the series, offering an experience so immersive it feels like you’re piloting an actual aircraft! Weather and the environment affect your aircraft and the HUD, adding a sense of extreme realism never felt before in a flight combat game. Epic dogfights await!”

The game is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.  Recently, we also got another update including more cosmetic content and more DLC aircraft.
