Zelda: Skyward Sword Switch Port Listing Found On Amazon

A listing suggesting the existence of a Nintendo Switch port for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has been found online. As noted by Twitter user Wario64, the listing appeared briefly on Amazon UK before being promptly taken down. You can still follow the link to the listing, which now leads to a dead page, though you can see the "Legend-Zelda-Skyward-Sword-Switch" tags in the URL. While this leak doesn't formally confirm anything, it does suggest that we could see a Nintendo Switch port of Skyward Sword in future. It wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility, considering that HD remakes of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker were brought to the Wii U. Back in 2016, The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma claimed that a Skyward Sword HD remake was "definitely possible," noting that Breath of the Wild was an "evolved or expanded version" of the 2011 Wii game. Later in 2018, Aonuma teased the port at a Zelda concert in Osaka, but Nintendo later clarified their position on the port, telling Eurogamer "at this time we have no plans to release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Nintendo Switch."
