WWE 2K23: Here’s What Comes in Each Edition

WWE 2K23 is set to release for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on March 17. If you spring for the Deluxe or Icon edition, though, you'll get it March 14. The cover athlete this year is John Cena, and the game features the debut of a new 3v3 and 4v4 WarGames mode. All editions are now available for preorder (see it on Amazon). The deluxe edition includes the game itself, plus the following:

  • 3-Day Early Access
  • Season Pass: Includes all 5 post-launch DLC character packs, the MyRISE Mega-Boost pack, with 200 additional Attribute Points, and the Supercharger pack which unlocks all base-game WWE Legends and throwback arenas. Release timing of the DLC contents will be revealed at a future date.
  • Deluxe Edition Bonus Pack: Includes a John Cena EVO card, Emerald-tier Bianca Belair, and Gold-tier Asuka and Edge cards, plus 3 Basic Day 1 MyFACTION card packs

WWE 2K23 Icon Edition (Digital Only)

The digital-only icon edition includes the game itself, plus the following:

  • 3-Day Early Access
  • Ruthless Aggression Pack: Includes throwback versions of John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, and Brock Lesnar, along with the WrestleMania 22 arena and the John Cena Legacy Championship
  • Season Pass: Includes all 5 post-launch DLC character packs, the MyRISE Mega-Boost pack, with 200 additional Attribute Points, and the Supercharger pack which unlocks all base-game WWE Legends and throwback arenas. Release timing of the DLC contents will be revealed at a future date

What’s New in WWE 2K23?

To celebrate the WWE Superstar’s 20-year career, this installment features John Cena on the cover. It also includes an “interactive sports documentary” that lets you play through some of the biggest matches from Cena’s time in the WWE.

Also new this year is the WarGames match type. This lets you play 3v3 and 4v4 matches in two side-by-side rings, with a cage surrounding them. You’ll also get the chance to play MyGM, MyRISE, and MyFACTION.
