Starfield Modders Have Already Added Missing Features Like DLSS Support and FOV Slider

8 months 1 week ago

Starfield is now available for those with early access and modders quickly worked to add several missing features including support for Nvidia's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) tech and an FOV Slider.

At the time of writing, three users on NexusMods have created a mod that adds support for DLSS and Intel's Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) tech, PureDark, who previously promised to add DLSS support in in addition to LukeFZ and 2077v2.

Another feature missing at launch was a Field of View slider, which is currently not available on the game's settings on the PC version. Fortunately, several individuals have already added a FOV Sliver into the game, including NexusMods user Hellstorm102.

Our 7/10 review of Starfield said, "Starfield has a lot of forces working against it, but eventually the allure of its expansive roleplaying quests and respectable combat make its gravitational pull difficult to resist."

Starfield is out now for players who purchased specific versions of the game, with its full launch happening on September 6.
