New Magic: The Gathering Preorders - Dominaria United, Double Masters, and More

1 year 11 months ago

Here's some good news for all the Magic: The Gathering players out there -- a bunch of upcoming cards are up for preorder on Amazon. We’ve got Dominaria United, Double Masters 2022, a new Universes Beyond Warhammer 40K crossover, and more. There’s a lot heading our way this year, so take a look at what’s available.

MTG: Double Masters 2022

On July 8, Double Masters 2022 arrives. It includes popular (and powerful) cards from previous sets, some of which will sport new artwork. These may be pricy, but every Draft Booster includes two rare and/or mythic rare cards, as well as two foil cards. These are also available at Best Buy.

Magic: The Gathering Dominaria United Cards

Dominaria United releases September 9. It represents the beginning of a major story arc that’s planned to comprise four sets. Details about the plot are hazy for now, but you can expect to hear more in August.

This set includes Draft, Set, and Collector boosters, as well as Jumpstart boosters, which replace Theme boosters. Basically, each Jumpstart booster is based on a theme, and if you combine two of these packs together, you’ll have everything you need to play.

MTG: Universes Beyond: Warhammer 40,000

A new set of Warhammer 40,000 commander decks is heading our way on August 12. You can buy them individually or as a bundle -- or, if you want to go all out, you can preorder the collector's edition of the bundle. It's a bit on the pricy side, but hey, it's a collectable.

MTG: Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate

Finally, arriving June 10 is a whole big batch of Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate cards. They come in the typical Collector, Draft, and Set boosters, as well as Commander decks.

Magic: The Gathering Starter Kit 2022

For those new to the fantasy card game, this starter kit is a great option. It comes with everything you need to start playing matches with a friend. You get a play guide booklet, along with two ready-to-play 60-card decks. Each deck contains five rare cards and one rare foil card. You also get codes allowing two people to unlock these decks in Magic: The Gathering Arena, so you can play online. Pretty neat.
