Marvel and Netmarble have announced Marvel: Future Revolution, an open-world RPG for mobile. Announced at PAX East, the game comes from the developers of Marvel: Future Fight, and will see players play as part of the ‘Omega Flight’ Super Hero team. According to a press release, the players will, "work together to battle an onslaught of Super Villains, confront their suspicious behaviors and defend the universe." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/03/02/marvel-future-revolution-teaser-trailer"] Confirmed playable heroes include Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange, and the open world will merge various Marvel locations, including Xanderth and Sakaar. The game will include new and existing costumes for heroes, with customisation promised. The story is being handled by Marvel Comics writer Marc Sumerak, who also worked on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. An earlier version of this article hypothesized the two might share action-RPG similarities, but we now know this isn't the case, with Future Fight being open-world and not action-RPG.
