Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective's HD Port Gets June Release Date

1 year 1 month ago

During today's Capcom Spotlight Showcase, we finally got a June 30th release date for the HD port of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.

Alongside HD graphics, Capcom confirmed that all 37 tracks for Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective are "newly-arranged," but you will have an option to listen to the original tracks, too.

Originally released on the Nintendo DS in 2011, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is a detective adventure game where you solve crimes as a spirit named Sissel. The port was announced last month during a February 2023 Nintendo Direct, and in addition to a Switch release, the HD remaster will also be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

In our review of the Nintendo DS original, IGN's Daemon Hatfield praised the game for its innovation of the point-and-click adventure genre, further noting that fans of Secret to Monkey Island and the Ace Attorney series should check it out.
