Genshin Impact: Diona Hangout Endings Guide

Diona is the best bartender in town, even though she doesn’t like alcohol. She became a bartender in hopes of making the worst drinks possible (and to crush the wine industry), but she can’t make bad drinks no matter what she does. We'll be hanging out with Diona and going over the five endings you can get and how to get them.

How to unlock Diona’s Hangout Event in Genshin Impact

To unlock the hangout events in Genshin Impact, you have to meet two prerequisites:

• Reaching Prologue: Act III
• Have 2 Story Keys

Story keys can be claimed by doing 8 daily commissions. Meanwhile, Prologue: Act III can be reached by advancing the game’s story. Make sure to check out our Genshin Impact walkthrough if you're stuck. After meeting the prerequisites, head over to the Quest menu and go to Story Quests/Hangout Events. Click the second tab on the top and you'll see a bunch of characters with hangout events available. Already have Diona’s hangouts unlocked? Well, then let's get to the endings!

Diona’s Special Ending

In this ending, you go to Dadaupa Gorge with Diona in search of an ingredient made by Samachurls.

• Aww look, it's a kitty!
• I want to try some new specialty drinks
• I'm a lot older than I look...
• I'd like the base to be more unique...
• You want to make a drink... from that?
• Don't worry, I'll go with her.
• I'll defeat all the monsters head-on.
• What's a hilihog?
• I was looking forward to seeing some hilihogs and hilihounds...
• Draff said he had just found some, let's ask him.
• Draff, may I take a look at your flask? Diona needs to use some of that herbal soup.
• Well, looks like we have everything we need.
• Can you really use this to sober him up?
• What's going on...?
• Diona already used the soup to sober you up.
• How are you able to make anything from an ingredient that smells like that?
• That bad, huh... Didn't you just say that you can only make delicious drinks?

I.. Only Had... a Little… Ending

Same with above, you go with Diona to Dadaupa Gorge and meet his Father, Draff. You then make a concoction for him in hopes of sobering him up.

• Aww look, it's a kitty!
• I want to try some new specialty drinks
• I'm a lot older than I look...
• I'd like the base to be more unique...
• Maybe we can use something else instead?
• Don't worry, I'll go with her.
• I'll avoid the monsters as well.
• What's a hilihog?
• I was looking forward to seeing some hilihogs and hilihounds...
• I can deal with a few monsters. I'll bring some of that herbal soup back.
• Got it right here.
• (Is this really drinkable...?)
• Don't worry, I'm not of age yet…

The Unfathomable Felines Ending

This ending deals with Diona getting annoyed with how the Traveler prefers the cats over her drinks… even though the Traveler is too young to drink.

• Aww look, it's a kitty!
• I'm here for the kitties...
• Maybe everyone just thinks the cats are cute?
• I understand.
• Then how do we find them?
• Seems like you know him really well.
• Maybe he just needs someone to play with?
• You think cat food will do the trick?
• I'm an experienced climber.

Roger can be seen at a roof overlooking the fountain.

• Use the cat toys.
• Well, he is really cute after all.

Nelson can be seen behind the Smithy.

• Use the cat food.
• Maybe you should take a hint from him and do what he does?
• Does he like cat toys?

Paisley is just chilling near the Cathedral, in front of Barbatos’ statue.

• So what should we do now?
• Meow, meow...
• That actually might make more money...
• Why don't we just go back together?

Cat Party Ending

This ending is similar to The Unfathomable Felines but instead of praising the cats, the Traveler praises Diona’s drinks instead.

• Aww look, it's a kitty!
• I'm here for the kitties...
• Maybe everyone just thinks the cats are cute?
• I understand.
• Then how do we find them?
• Seems like you know him really well.
• Maybe he just needs someone to play with?
• You think cat food will do the trick?
• I'm an experienced climber.
• (Find Roger overlooking the Fountain)
• Use the cat toys
• I think the customers visit the tavern primarily for your cocktails.
• (Find Nelson behind the Smithy)
• Use the cat food.
• Your specialty drinks attract lots of attention already.
• Does he like cat toys?
• (Find Paisley chilling near Barbatos’ Statue)
• So what should we do now?
• Meow, meow...
• No-one would know about these cats if it weren't for your specialty drinks.
• Diona does fit the theme of the tavern nicely.
• Quite the grand plan you have there...
• But, everyone seems to really like the drinks you make...

The Ultimate Special Ending

Last but not the least, this ending shows Diona’s inability to make bad cocktails.

• Aww look, it's a kitty.
• I want to try some new specialty drinks...
• A non-alcoholic beverage would be fine as well.
• I'd like the flavoring to be more unique...
• What are these...?
• You sure know a lot about fish.
• I really need to wash my hands.
• Why do you want to use this to make drinks?
• How about trying a different way of making the drinks?
• Why don't we start by looking at your mixing technique?
• Or else the drink will taste bad?
• I don't think anyone in this world would ever sell me alcohol...
• This is your opportunity to ask about mixing techniques!
• We'd like to ask you about your techniques for mixing drinks.
• (Is it me, or was that rehearsed speech?)
• How did you prepare so many things in advance?
• I don't look to be of drinking age yet.
