EA has announced Knockout City, a new multiplayer, tactical team-based game that blends together dodgeball-inspired aspects as well as third-person shooter mechanics.

As revealed during the February 2021 Nintendo Direct, players will use customizable characters with abilities to run around a cityscape, grab balls, and attempt to hit opposing players with them to eliminate them.

Knockout City comes from Velan Studios, the studio whose debut was the Nintendo Switch exclusive Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. Knockout City will release on May 21.
