Another Code: Two Memories DS Game Getting Full 3D Remake on Nintendo Switch

Another Code: Two Memories, known as Trace Memory in North America, is getting a full 3D remake on Nintendo Switch. The new collection is titled Another Code Recollection, and will feature Another Code R, a previously-unreleased Wii sequel coming to North America for the first time.

The original was a point-and-click adventure for Nintendo DS released back in 2005. We weren't big fans, writing at the time, "Even with the awkward and sometimes irritating dialogue, it's a good read from beginning to end, and it's a game that will fill the gap as a lengthy bedtime story."

Another Code: R - A Journey into Lost Memories was released on Nintendo Wii in 2009, but never made it to North America. Here's the full summary.

The Nintendo DS game Trace Memory and its Wii sequel – which was never released in North America – are coming together, fully enhanced, on the Nintendo Switch system. A young girl named Ashley receives a letter from her father, who she thought had passed away. Seeking answers, she sets off for a solitary island in search of him. Once there, Ashley encounters puzzles and obstacles that threaten to hinder her investigation.

Another Code Recollection was part of a Nintendo Direct that also featured a Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door remaster and more. You can find our full recap of everything announced at the Nintendo Direct right here.
