Streets of Rage 4 comes out on 30th April on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. It'll also head into Xbox Game Pass on that date.
The retro beat-em-up sequel includes a battle mode, which was seen in Streets of Rage 2 and 3. The video, below, runs through how it works.
Streets of Rage 4 is the first new main entry in Sega's famous old series for an eye-watering 25 years. It's a collaborative effort between publisher and co-developer Dotemu (publisher of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, developer of Windjammers 1 and 2), and co-developers Lizardcube (Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap) and Guard Crush Games (Streets of Fury). It includes classic characters Axel, Blaze and Adam, alongside newcomers. There's a hand drawn art style and a new scenario, with an original soundtrack from Olivier Derivière with help from series composers Yūzō Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima.
