This makes it cheaper than even some of Razer's more affordable wired mice, and is a fantastic deal for one of Digital Foundry's favourite mice for FPS games.
The Razer Viper Ultimate is one of the company's premium wireless mice. It uses Razer's Hyperspeed wireless technology, which basically makes the latency a non-issue and on par with some of the best wired mice out there. The Viper Ultimate also uses Razer's Focus+ optical sensor with an incredible 20,000 DPI and 650 IPS tracking speed. While you don't have to play at the full 20,000 DPI, it does mean the sensor will be extremely responsive at all settings, which is important for twitch shooters like Quake or more tactical fare like Counter-Strike.
