UPDATE 07/03/22: An update for the Steam client has been released, meaning the issue with saving Elden Ring to the Steam Cloud should now be fixed.
A tweet from the official Elden Ring account states: "An update for the #Steam client has been released which should prevent the issue of conflicting local and cloud save data. Please update your Steam client to the latest version."
