Apple last night threw the covers off a range of new iPads and Apple Watches, and fully unveiled its new iOS 14 operating system.
But while app developers knew iOS 14 was coming - indeed, developer versions have been available now for a few months - they did not know when it would arrive.
It was a little surprising, then, when Apple announced it would begin iOS 14's rollout... today.
